I figure that the reason I haven't been able to post all day, is because we've run out of thread - again!! Hope you all find this, my fellow Teabags. Are contenders for the longest-running MN thread?

Anyhoo, TFM, I have a tent, and an inflatable mattress. And I quite fancy a trip oop north!

And I agree, Ginnny, his drinking is symptomatic of his other problems. In comparison with the absolutely horrendous stories I hear at AlAnon, I realise he isn't as sick as some, he has flashes of insane behaviour every so often, but it's not constant - he CAN go without drinking if he has to, and he doesn't hide it. Or am I living in cloud cuckoo land?

Anyway, I've noted a reduction in the drinking since our talk - ok, it's only been a few days, but he's only drinking one bottle a night - not two+...

Things with me are absolutely dreadful! It has been a very fraught three weeks, but I think that I am sorting my head out. I will have to tell you all when we DO get to meet as I am not typing it on here!

It's going to be a mad social whirl next week: meeting some ex-colleagues on Monday, Teabags on Thursday and DB at the weekend. That's busier than the average month for me, as most of my socialising happens over the net in various forms. I hope I can remember how to walk.

Hi, back at work with net access! Had a lovely day in Whitstable for DP's birthday and a day in Brighton with some girlfriends. Must be mad to go to the seaside at this time of year, but at least we missed the crowds.

Dior, that's such a shame! Don't suppose you have anyone who could deputise for you? We made it Thursday as McD said she was returning home on Friday.
