And there’s some rubbish about an ex-stripper policeman?

Yes, I liked her too. I wonder if the orchard at Grange Farm might feature in some way.

The continuity announcer made me laugh. So obvious now that Elizabeth is going to go to the college and find Lily in Russ's office, or something on those lines. Ugh.

StroppyWoman · 23/08/2018 19:28

Aye, NewWelshWoman is a keeper! Tom was embarrassing as he fawned over her

R4 · 23/08/2018 19:31

Were we supposed to believe that "Helen is such a perfectionist" guff?Hmm

Gruach · 23/08/2018 19:40

It’s too much to hope that she liked what she saw of Jazzer, isn’t it?

dairyfarmerswife · 23/08/2018 20:06

no mention of Ben's GSCE results?

Wasn't Natasha gently digging at Tom for not selling the angus beef in the shop - He was so busy agreeing with her about direct sales that I don't think he realised....

ZeroFuchsiasGiven · 23/08/2018 20:24

A* or whatever the numerical equivalent is in Cereal Packet Organisation Techniques.

Mootsie · 23/08/2018 20:26

Oh dear. I'm probably the only one who doesn't like Tasha Natasha. My first thoughts were, Oh no. Not another forthright, bossy newcomer.

Maybe I'll warm to her.

glamorousgrandmother · 23/08/2018 20:45

I didn't take to her either.

TigerTeatimes · 23/08/2018 20:50

But I think she likes Jonny...

LassWiADelicateAir · 23/08/2018 21:42

I didn't take to her.

witchmountain · 23/08/2018 22:01

She liked Jazzer, that’s a good sign in my book.

I really wish I wasn’t addicted which would be easier to give up- TA or mumsnet?

StroppyWoman · 23/08/2018 22:04

witchmountain
Easier to give up Mumsnet - because I'm 25 years into TA!

ADarkandStormyKnight · 24/08/2018 00:10

Oh yes - Natasha and Pat will bond over the goats' udders. Plenty of unattached slightly desperate men to choose from, if that's her thing.

BoreOfWhabylon · 24/08/2018 01:03

Pat used to be Welsh, remember.

I think we are going to have Hannah and Natasha fighting over Tom. But who will win his heart?

I hate what they've done to Hannah. I loved her when she was first in it and for years was urging "Bring back Hannah the pIg-girl". Now they have and they've changed her.

BertrandRussell · 24/08/2018 08:41

Natasha is going to write a report advising all sorts of business centred streamlining -getting rid of the goats and the cow and all the things she dismissed as "hobbies". Tom is going to get alll over excited like he does about the next shiny thing. And he's going to upset everybody and flounce off back to Canada after being rejected by Natasha who will not be able to hide her incredulity that he even thought he had a chance. And before we know it, it'll be the Tom and Rob show - "he's learned his lesson-he just needs another chance-he knows so much about farming....."

mermaidsandunicorns · 24/08/2018 12:34

Jonny is my secret voice crush

MereDintofPandiculation · 24/08/2018 13:33

Pat used to be Welsh, remember. Wonderfully put! Grin

Mootsie · 24/08/2018 13:57

What happened to Henry's riding lessons? No wonder he's bored, poor kid. He's growing up on a farm so could have a dog and a pony instead of doing cissy stuff with Helen.

Most seven year olds want to be with their friends in the summer holidays not playing with a two year old brother.

Gruach · 24/08/2018 18:03

(Re-posting from wrong thread.)

Have just heard on PM that Patricia Greene (Jill) has macular degeneration. I think they said she’ll be on Broadcasting House on Sunday.

ZeroFuchsiasGiven · 24/08/2018 18:23

Oh dear. Very common as people get older, sadly. Was odd hearing PG on Great Lives the other day. She was on fine form.

QueJamones · 24/08/2018 18:31

I thought that was her - forgot to look it up - only heard last 10 mins.

dairyfarmerswife · 24/08/2018 18:44

Jill Patricia Greene on Great Lives if anyone wants to listen.

BertrandRussell · 24/08/2018 18:46

Yes-none of the younger generation have ponies, do they? That's odd.

Sad news about PG-and she might be too old to learn Braille-so you still need very sensitive fingers or is it better now? The actor who plays Jazzer uses Braille, I read somewhere.

Gruach · 24/08/2018 19:06

Oh gosh, Russ sounds dangerously ... lovely tonight.

Eastpoint · 24/08/2018 19:08

Ugh, I hate Russ.
