That was some very heavy signposting over Shula being kicked/trod on by the horse (my iPad insisted on autocorrecting that to 'house') and refusing to get it checked out. Seems odd if there's not going to be any follow-up.

Toby definitely doesn't pay any rent - I was looking something up on Lowfield only a couple of days ago and saw a reference to him getting his accommodation free - but of course - when he moved in with Pip. So is he paying his share of the utilities etc? Does Pip? Don't tell me the Dopeys fork out for those too? The golden couple must at least buy their own food, although as we know Pip feels no qualms about helping herself to Jill's baked goods.

I would like Jill to leave Glebe cottage to Meriel - then we would get a New Zealand accent - might make a change from all the young people out of drama-school RP.

Hopefully this won't be ages and Patricia Green's Jill will be around for a long time, just like June Spencer's Peggy.

Following on LOD, maybe Shula will contract the equine version of MRSA, refuse any early medical treatment and have her foot amputated.

I really liked the last couple of lines of that episode, where it became clear (contrary to the dreams of SOC) that there will be less conflict over inheritance of Home farm, than might be expected. As after all it seems neither Debbie or Adam will have children, and infact at present it seems that the long term future could rely on Alice's potential off-spring or Ruairi.

Also what about Sipho and Nolly becoming farmers, or even Phoebe becoming an agri-businesswoman extraordinaire!

Adam is pathetic. He never says anything to Brian's face but whines to JD or Ian.

I would think it would be pretty unlikely that Sipho and Nolly would both come to the UK and want to be farmers. They have a pretty good life in SA from what I've heard. Either or both might want to come over to study for a bit, but to do British farming? That would need a big build up.
Phoebe I will be cross if she doesn't either become an academic or make use of her degree to do something more than running a farm. We need to see that young people in the archers can leave home and have proper careers.
