To be fair and to stand up to the Pip haters (stupidly I know ) There were quite a few moments when she was about to spill the beans to her parents and the SWs made sure that circumstances conspired to stop her from doing so.

Pip is 24 - she's old enough to take some responsibility for her carelessness but the fact that she'd forgotten about the cows getting out doesn't bode well.

Not a lot Minimammoth. Matt transfered £50k into Lillian's account. Justin was concerned that he still had access to it but L assured him it was safe though only a small proportion of what he took.

The dowry was interesting. I'm one of the partners in my fim with money laundering reporting responsibilities and my immediate thought was that money is dodgy.

It just doesn't make sense that she forgot about the cows getting out.

For one, it was a big deal at the time, and she consciously decided to keep quiet about it.
For two, there would have been cow pats all over the road, and it would have been the talk of the village for weeks.

I was quite pleased Ruth seems prepared to acknowledge that Pip is an arsehole just because she is, not necessarily because of TowBee's or anyone else's influence. And David needs to give himself a slap for already going down the route of "It's our fault really, it couldn't possibly be St Pip's".

I had the impression that it was a sizeable part of Lilian's assets from Bellamy days but sums of money are almost never specified. In my head I'd assumed half a million or so as it was enough to generate some income.
