I'm fully expecting Kirsty to give up her job at Grey Gables and return to Bridge Farm to run the Farm Shop (that way she'll be perfectly positioned to help Fallon and Emma out on the side).

What irritates me is that we know perfectly well that the reality is that someone like Kirsty, having been concerned enough to dig out the Women's Aid number and give Helen a phone, would have been beating on Bridge Farm's door as soon as Helen was charged, if not before, to get them to check. We've only had to wait this long because SOC fondly believes that he's been increasing the tension in the storyline rather than simply increasing listeners' levels of incredulity and boredom. And the knock-on effect of that is that, totally unnecessarily, Kirsty is portrayed as incredibly slow in the uptake.

Still, Friday tomorrow, with any luck we'll get Anna contacting WA or asking Helen about it and light beginning to dawn. Probably just as she goes into labour.
