Rob's mask is slipping fast!
Cutted it's available online so you should be ok. You could even download it if you have internet access away...
Pre internet my uncle used to record and send out tapes! Smile

Icimoi · 11/08/2015 08:58

My name badge says Icemoi. Who do I complain to?

peppapissinpig · 11/08/2015 09:05

Found you!

ApplesinmyPocket · 11/08/2015 09:13

Is it very wrong to have a bit of a crush on Charlie? Blush It's the way he is with Rob... effortlessly unimpressed by Rob's menacing growls - and how natural he was with Henry. And I sense secret torment as he nurses unrequited love for Adam...

Better don my paisley overall and do some housework in penance I think!

redshoeblueshoe · 11/08/2015 09:16

As soon as I saw the word tabard I knew this was the new thread.

I like offfodd's name-typo. Gallon is a good name for a publican's daughter!

ErrolTheDragon · 11/08/2015 09:34

And the wielder of a large tea urn too, don't forget.

enochroot · 11/08/2015 09:42

No, not wrong to admire Charlie!

ppeatfruit · 11/08/2015 09:57

I just Listened Again to the Tabard Debacle and was thinking that the new title should include them.

Only to see that great minds and all that; thanks Psuedo I hope your name badge was spelt correctly. BOOP point for Lynda's discomfiture over the static, man made tabards plus name badges. (Yes, who's paying for them?) Her sniff must have been audible in Prudder Grin.

WipsGlitter · 11/08/2015 10:06

God Helen - catch a grip. I'm a bit lost re the milking thing though - what has Rob been doing? Or is he just crap at his job?

And I could have slapped Jill on Sunday night with all her banshee wailing about HP. Give over woman.

peppapissinpig · 11/08/2015 10:08

Yep, I'm a bit confused by what Knobs been supposed to be doing at work?? Do we know he's been cooking the books??

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 11/08/2015 10:21

Last night Charlie was asking for the original handwritten records for something or other which are then mostly entered onto the computer system by Rob. That sounds very promising, given how angry Rob was about it. No idea what it's all about but I assume he's been massaging some figures - to make him look better, possibly to increase/secure his bonus or to cover something else up? Who cares, as long as it's going to put him at risk of being ignominiously fired! Grin

ChairOfTheBored · 11/08/2015 10:24

Oh Lord, why, why WHY has our broadband died now, meaning although I can MN at work, I can't catch upon the Archers podcast at home...

It's all hotting up just as I can't listen. I was loving the shop story as the counter point to what sounds like some serious HellRob plot development.

ppeatfruit · 11/08/2015 10:25

Yes Gaspode BUT if he's fired he'll end up sniffing round Pat n' Tony's place and giving Hell a 'rest' by trying to muscle in on their farm (someone else has said the same).

amethyst74 · 11/08/2015 10:29

If it was real life we'd probably be talking about a story arc of 5-10 years. Sad but true ...

MyNightWithMaud · 11/08/2015 10:30

::waves shyly::

I fell off this thread several threads ago (so to speak) and have missed a few of the omnibuses on which I usually rely, but thought last night's episode was a corker. It even prompted some great discussion with dd about the self-sabotaging lunacy of being a surrendered wife, which seems to be where Hellin is heading (or has reached).

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 11/08/2015 10:31

Chair, can you put headphones in and listen via i player?

ppeat, yes, that's a worry. I'm in the camp that would like the story to run and run so I don't want him to leave any time soon as it may hasten the time when he leaves Ambridge.

Alicekeach · 11/08/2015 10:31

I don't think Charlie will find anything in the figures this time. I think it's another red herring (like the DNA test, the hunt saboteur, the culvert blocking etc) to make us think knob's about to be found out. I think this story will run and run with poor Helen getting more and more downtrodden.

ChairOfTheBored · 11/08/2015 11:00

Good shout Gasp)de am sure IT issued us with some, will have a rummage...

BYOSnowman · 11/08/2015 11:00

I think fallon is prime for a tax investigation storyline...

Icimoi · 11/08/2015 11:30

And I could have slapped Jill on Sunday night with all her banshee wailing about HP. Give over woman.

^
This! Talk about overacting! Her reactions might have been appropriate if HP were on her deathbed, they were totally over the top given that she was just being told that HP sometimes got anxious if Ruth wasn't around.

ChairOfTheBored · 11/08/2015 11:57

Just caught up.

Dowry? Romance? Joint Account... This is all escalating horribly well (or just horribly)

At least Pat was starting to sound concerned, but I fear for Helen, and more particularly Henry.

TheOriginalSteamingNit · 11/08/2015 11:59

Does Rob not realise that the more he snarls 'is this really necessary?', the guiltier he sounds?

ChairOfTheBored · 11/08/2015 11:59

On the flip side the tabards sound so wonderfully Susan - and BOOP for the concern regarding the potential for a community conflagration sparked by static shocks!

TheOriginalSteamingNit · 11/08/2015 11:59

Oh and typical Piggy to use her cheque book for evil...
