Won't someone please give Kenton a kick in the FA Cup Finals, and a link to Money Saving Expert?

minkGrundy · 21/06/2015 21:23

I got 5/10. Only been lostening for about 5 years.

ZeroFunDame · 21/06/2015 21:25

Oooh - where did that come from?

8/10

ZeroFunDame · 21/06/2015 21:26

(Although I'd dispute one of the probable answers ...)

Rathalie · 21/06/2015 21:32

6/10 here after about 20 years listening. Where can we find the answers?

lalalonglegs · 21/06/2015 21:56

A surprisingly solid 7/10 (couldn't for the life of me think who Tony Archer was in one of the questions, had to google him Blush). You can get the right answers at the end Rathalie - you click on the ones that you got wrong.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 21/06/2015 22:06

7/10. This is a dark day here at the Kennels. Blush

All the answers are there at the end. You have to click on the + sign to see more. I had no memory of the Nigel incident or the godfather quest or that Ed Grundy wasn't named after his dad.

ZeroFunDame · 21/06/2015 22:12

Yay!

Blush Grin

Yes, when I went back and looked at the answers I had no memory of some of the events.

highkickindandy · 21/06/2015 22:22

I think the only reasonable response to Rob asking if his cricket whites were ready would have been to tell him they'd been put in with a dark wash by accident and perhaps he should wash them himself in future.......mutter mutter

Minimammoth · 21/06/2015 22:26

Questions question. Why does Pip always sound like she's reading the daily rosta. Are we on for months of wedding plans again, it will go on for ever. Are we in for months of divorce plans, ditto. When is Charlie going to sack Knob. Off to do quiz now.

Minimammoth · 21/06/2015 22:30

Oh dear, I failed miserably. 3. I shall be driven from thread as unworthy.

Rathalie · 21/06/2015 22:35

Thanks I've just done it again and got 8/10 this time. I'm sure the answers didn't come up at the end the first time I did it either - perhaps a glitch on my phone!

JessieMcJessie · 22/06/2015 04:03

Meh, 6 out of 10, I was sure that Wayne Rogers had been properly banged up. I do vaguely remember the birth of Will but no godfather shenanigans. So did Nelson say no?

I don't believe that Edward is named after Prince Edward exclusively, surely it was a happy coincidence that Eddie had a Royal name and Clarrie likes Royal names?

Good quiz though, and liked the little explanations of the answers; whoever wrote it clearly knows their stuff.

cheminotte · 22/06/2015 06:23

7/10 here!

Icimoi · 22/06/2015 09:37

When Rob said "Me too" when Helen said sometimes she had to pinch herself at how lucky she is to have him - did anyone else think he meant he too couldn't believe how incredibly lucky she is?

ZeroFunDame · 22/06/2015 09:46

Hah! That "me too" is such an annoying mangling of the English language - but yes, I suspect the SW was having a larf.

Of course Rob thinks Helen is lucky to be spending her life buried under a pile of his grubby laundry - only crawling out three times a day to stir a pot on the stove ...

JessieMcJessie · 22/06/2015 09:47

Just realised I totally spoilered the quiz for those who had not done it yet. Sorry Blush

squeaver · 22/06/2015 10:00

Yes Ici, I thought that too. And the stuff about his whites - bleurgh. It's being done subtly though, I think, just the odd comment like that here and there, and interspersed with e.g. "we'll have whatever you want for the wedding".

Meanwhile, yet more Adam/Charlie innuendo!! "Stiff competition in the nets"! "I'd far rather watch your cultured stroke play"! He's like a little puppy with its tongue hanging out around Adam.

I am enjoying the new frosty atmosphere between him and Knob though.

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 22/06/2015 10:48

I enjoyed this from Fallon's blog: "There are lots of conversations and tomfoolery from the green room that I could tell you about, but it’s probably too rude. All I’d better say is that Paddy Greene (Jill Archer) is very good value!"

Bloody "are my cricket whites ready? - seethe.

Golfhotelromeofoxtrot · 22/06/2015 11:02

They've cranked the Rob/Helen tension up a notch- setting his high standards, need to win, aggressive competitor...I'm very interested in today's episode. I think he's going to push for another baby, and Helen will be reluctant, and this will instigate the discord that will expose his more obvious nasty side.

Important stupid question- do we know who fathered Henry?

ppeatfruit · 22/06/2015 11:08

Anyone notice how mean knob was to Henry who'd specially done a carefully written card to his 'father' (do we reckon Hell will ever tell Henry the truth?) . Firstly he emphasised the 'neatness' of the handwriting and then refused to play ball with him. Then Hell effing fawning over the fact they can get married fgs.

Golfhotelromeofoxtrot · 22/06/2015 11:11

Yes ppeat Knob's contempt of Henry is barely concealed these days.

ppeatfruit · 22/06/2015 11:17

Poor little boy Sad

ppeatfruit · 22/06/2015 11:19

Yes sorry golf we cross posted there. Well 'no' actually he was a sperm donor but I don't know if Hell actually knows who he is.

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 22/06/2015 11:24

Yeah, I liked the way the celebrated father's day by Rob doing nothing at all with Henry.
