Loved that party - mainly because it was full of voices I recognised - Mike, Brenda, Vickoi (annoying, but distinctive!). Just wonderful to be able to listen and effortlessly work out what's going on and know who is who - perfect Radio drama (makes you realise how far we've fallen from that in some recent episodes).

Yes, I could even work out who Tom was because Charlie and the Fairbrethren weren't there.

Yes. Tony (Tom's dad) and David (Pip's dad) are first cousins. Tony's dad (Peggy's first Jack) and David's dad Phil were brothers.

I loved the interaction between Lillian and Kate tonight. They bring out the best in each other. Lillian is a brilliant actress. I could see her in every line.
Fallon however is falling into "The Archers Lady Trap". Please can someone scan the cutting room floor for her personality. Not every women lives her life being grateful.

I quite liked the fact that Fallon's favourite film, given its subject matter and her bf's occupation.
