Won't someone please give Kenton a kick in the FA Cup Finals, and a link to Money Saving Expert?

OP posts:

The 2K 'entitled, spoilt brat' race is neck and neck...

Didn't think much of Jennifer's 'good man to keep her in check' line even if it probably is realistic attitude for her. Hmm

GypsyFloss · 17/06/2015 19:31

Loved Kate being firmly put in her place.

opalfire · 17/06/2015 20:37

Sorry. Not listened for a few weeks. When David and Ruth were going to sell up the others were going to get money. Can't Kenton ask David to buy him out? Maybe get a mortgage?

ZeroFunDame · 17/06/2015 20:46

Imagine opal if all three siblings insisted on having "their" money.

I guess Phil's Will would have been drawn up specifically to prevent David and Ruth being constantly held to ransom by the others. They'd never have been able to plan ahead otherwise. So the sibs only become entitled to any money when the entire farm is sold - it's not Bank of Brookfield.

(That's how I understand it anyway ...)

ErrolTheDragon · 17/06/2015 20:48

opal - in any case, Kenton has very rudely rejected any assistance from David. D. tried to offer him a loan, but I don't think K. actually allowed him to get the words out of his mouth, just jumped down his throat with assumptions.

florentina1 · 18/06/2015 12:45

Do you think that when Auntie C moves in With Peggi, she will let Clarrie and Eddie rent her cottage?. Assuming Hazel really is going to stop them returning to hers.

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 18/06/2015 13:09

Cracking work from Brian there. What next for Kate? Starting some kind of crapola business, with investment from her long suffering dad?

Golfhotelromeofoxtrot · 18/06/2015 13:26

The Kate story got a bit dark there, tbh. Is she going to find herself rejected by all her previous allies? Wonder if today's will be about Adam's reaction? Will she end up sleeping with Charlie in some kind of desperate cry for attention?

squeaver · 18/06/2015 13:42

Yes, Golf, pretty sure Kate is going to drown her sorrows and end up doing something/someone she'll regret. A Toby retread? A chance with Charlie?

Golfhotelromeofoxtrot · 18/06/2015 14:19

Roy!!

ppeatfruit · 18/06/2015 14:35

Boop point for Brian's comment "You're nearly 40 ffs" Well I put the last oath in Grin.

IIW Christine I'd discover how many bathrooms\toilets Peggy has before saying yes to the offer Grin. Nice she said she could have her own sort of bedsit though.

ErrolTheDragon · 18/06/2015 15:19

I don't think Charlie has the slightest interest in Kate. He seems coolly polite to her whenever she makes a move towards him. She might make a pass and be rebutted, which she wouldn't take well at the best of times.

squeaver · 18/06/2015 15:54

Oh God, yes, a Roy Retread!

Much more likely scenario, Errol. But maybe Adam will see something and misinterpret it with utterly hilarious consequences (not).

ppeatfruit · 18/06/2015 15:59

I reckon you're right Errol Charlie couldn't get away from Kate quick enough at the Open Day.

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 18/06/2015 15:59

I think Roy would tell her to FTFO, wouldn't he?

Who is Errol? I keep picturing an owl.

I think Kate getting knocked up is not at all unlikely. Poor Jenny and Brine having to take on another one just as Roauurrrrishdh is away at school. :)

BoreOfWhabylon · 18/06/2015 15:59

I'd love Kate to make a play for TichKnob!

He'd take her up on it, too.

Then she'd be pregnant...

Wot larks!

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 18/06/2015 16:00

Oh ERROL on here. Nurr sorry. Though it was a minor character like Maurice. (Whoops, Maurice minor, I'll get my coat)

ErrolTheDragon · 18/06/2015 16:03

Who is Errol? well, a dragon obviously! Dragon Grin A rather odd little Discworld one.

ErrolTheDragon · 18/06/2015 16:04

Oh, xpost - misreading not woeful ignorance.

ppeatfruit · 18/06/2015 16:04

Elephants The clue was in the heavy type Grin

Kate could already be upduffed by the charming Toby couldn't she Grin? I mean she forgets to turn off smoke alarms when she's using smudge sticks she could 've forgotten her contraceptives. Grin

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 18/06/2015 16:14

Yeah it was this bit that confused me: "Much more likely scenario, Errol." By which I thought Errol was being suggested as a potential father for little Moon Sanctuary Madikane. Sorry Errol, you are a lovely dragon :)

Kate probably thinks contraception is part of the corporo-global-plutocracy, and prefers to chew on some cow parsley during, instead, while chanting "no baby thank you".

squeaver · 18/06/2015 16:23

Bold type fail on my part! Sorry Elephants and Errol

ppeatfruit · 18/06/2015 18:02

Aah sweet little dragon I had no idea it was actually a dragon , that shows how down Iam with the kidz NOT. It's a nintendo game yes? Sorry I'm a bit duh this evening.

GypsyFloss · 18/06/2015 19:02

Haha Elephants I was just thinking something similar about Kate shagging on a leyline for some mystical protection.

ZeroFunDame · 18/06/2015 19:04

Already the best episode of the year so far!
