Won't someone please give Kenton a kick in the FA Cup Finals, and a link to Money Saving Expert?

At least Jill got in a good exclamation - "conspiracy?!"

Maybe Kenton will find his childhood toy pub in the attic and have a change of heart...

LillianGish · 17/06/2015 07:27

Knob won't be pleased about Christine moving in - she'll probably nurse Peggoi in her final days and Piggoi will change her will again and leave the Lodge to Christine.

minkGrundy · 17/06/2015 07:46

Hellin isn't getting anything in the will anymore is she?

But yes I enjoyed Jill "conspiracy?" exclamation.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 17/06/2015 08:43

Yes the will is now a three way split between her kids

Tbf on Kenton, the decision wa taken rather quickly with no thought to other options.

I wouldn't see a fair at a local estate as the village fair - more of a promotional event for lower loxley

ErrolTheDragon · 17/06/2015 09:11

Well, that was predictable. Grin

Would Kenton need to supply the staff for the tent? Jolene could run it and there's plenty of people who'd be able to pull pints - Nic, Clarrie.

Anyway, either they'll go ahead with LoxFete or David will come up with some brilliant idea for a site which is close to the Bull but not on the green. Kenton will be surly but Jolene and Jill will tell him some home truths.

selsigfach · 17/06/2015 11:05

Toy pub made me snort!

Icimoi · 17/06/2015 11:15

Certainly the family need to point out to Kenton that he has no-one to blame for his money worries but himself. If he hadn't spent money before he had it, and if he had put in place business interruption insurance, he wouldn't have these problems.

But actually, I think he has a point about a fete at Lower Loxley not being a village fete. Has anyone actually formally accepted the offer of LL? All I've heard is Elizabeth talking about it with her family. It would make some sense for her to cede to Kenton.

Golfhotelromeofoxtrot · 17/06/2015 11:25

Pleased it amused you, sel Grin

I need to look at the Ambridge map- I bet there are loads of places to hold the fete!

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 17/06/2015 12:16

Anyone seen Nancy's latest ?

HapShawl · 17/06/2015 12:28

there is going to be a fete-off

HapShawl · 17/06/2015 12:30

the fete committee is pretty shit at communicating all round tbh

ErrolTheDragon · 17/06/2015 12:31

Grin Brilliant as ever.

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 17/06/2015 12:43

LOL Kenton. That's right, blame your old mum.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 17/06/2015 12:55

A gem from start to finish. Thanks, Elephants!

The word Brighton sobered Toby like a bucket of water. You have to ask yourself what could possibly have happened to drive a grown man to duck farming? If you can think of anything capable of shocking Brighton, do tell.

Meanwhile, Mike, the one-eyed milkman, is clearing out his garden shed. He is being dragged to Birmingham by his lively wife like a donkey stuck in melting tar.

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 17/06/2015 12:59

I loved the bit about poor old Grace taking one for the team Grin

BoreOfWhabylon · 17/06/2015 13:19

I loved the whole thing Grin

Adore Nancy, hard to believe she's 86.

ppeatfruit · 17/06/2015 14:48

Yes Cutted I noted the bxxxdx oath from big baby Kenton! I don't know who'd win the prize for biggest "Entitled, spoiled and retarded middle aged pratt in Amb." between the 2 Ks ; Kenton and Kate Grin

Though I like what she said to Stepford partner Hellinn about Berrow Farm.

ErrolTheDragon · 17/06/2015 14:55

Bore - that age sounds exactly right for someone with such a knowledge of TA.

songbird · 17/06/2015 15:26

Ooh he's gone too far this time hasn't he? Ridiculous twerp!

R4 · 17/06/2015 17:13

How long before The Bull starts losing trade because the landlord is such a grumpy sourpuss. He's lost his 'mine host' sparkle.

trevortrevorslatterfry · 17/06/2015 17:15

Urgh errol the idea of Roy being the driving force behind anything dirty mind Envy

EBearhug · 17/06/2015 19:13
