A big showdown tonight I hope.

Thanks to Zero (I think?) for the great title.

Brill! Thanks pseudo. Although I am blaming you entirely for having 'stickman and his lady lurve' stuck in my head!

GypsyFloss · 03/10/2014 18:38

Love the title. Let's hope tonight's episode lives up to expectations...

PetulaGordino · 03/10/2014 18:52

thanks for the new thread

MrsCampbellBlack · 03/10/2014 18:57

Glass of wine poured and children in other room. Hope it is a good one.

unitarian · 03/10/2014 18:57

Great title!

unitarian · 03/10/2014 18:58

Will Carol and Freda form a coven?

PetulaGordino · 03/10/2014 18:59

mrscb, you might have guaranteed it's a dud there Grin

everyone knows the best episodes only happen when there's some sort of noisy crisis right next to the radio

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 03/10/2014 19:05

New thread and Jill's already annoyed!

Thanks PseudoFlowers

cheminotte · 03/10/2014 19:05

Blatantly marking my place - still doing bedtime so will catch up later.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 03/10/2014 19:10

Go on phoebe!

MrsCampbellBlack · 03/10/2014 19:11

Yeay Phoebe!

Poor Hayley though.

GypsyFloss · 03/10/2014 19:11

Beans , spilled . Result :)

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 03/10/2014 19:11

Is it bad I put the kids to bed half an hour early...

MrsCampbellBlack · 03/10/2014 19:12

Am sure they were very tired Buildyourown Wink

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 03/10/2014 19:13

Wow Ruth. Did you honestly think that would remotely be an option!?!?

And honestly, are they planning to relocate the archers to an urban area....

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 03/10/2014 19:13

D-I-V-O-R-C-E....

MrsCampbellBlack · 03/10/2014 19:13

God Ruth is stupid. And wouldn't they have to give Elizabeth, Kenton and Shula their share.

And what about poor Jill? (I know I said she was annoying but lordy)

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 03/10/2014 19:14

I know it's stressful when your parents get old but Ruth seems to have lost it!

GypsyFloss · 03/10/2014 19:17

I know Ruth , you should go and mind your mother in Prudhoe. FFS woman, what a mad idea.

unitarian · 03/10/2014 19:17

Wow. I didn't see that one coming. It's taking pruning the cast a bit far.

R4 · 03/10/2014 19:19

She certainly has lost it: uproot David & Ben & Josh & Jill & sundry livestock - but leave your daughter behind - just so Heather can stay put!? I think not.

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 03/10/2014 19:21

New thread! Great title. Thanks, Pseudo!

Well, this just makes me keener than ever on my theory that the cast is being pruned and all the oldtimers being chucked out get their moment in the sun before they go. I'd be delighted to see the back of Ruth but it's not exactly plausible, is it?

Well done to Phoebe! I shall be most annoyed if on our return to Ambridge we don't hear Hayley asking Roy for the truth.

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 03/10/2014 19:22

I'm surprised that D and R hadn't thought about all this already, given that Ruth is an only child and her mother is a widow.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 03/10/2014 19:27

I don't know many farmers but I can't imagine those born on the land will sell up!

And did she honestly expect Jill would move!

This is actually really stupid now. I'm finding the stories and how the characters behave more and more implausible.

PetulaGordino · 03/10/2014 19:28

i'm surprised too zero. my parents are thinking about this now with my grandmother who is still out and about and very healthy, but she lives alone and very rurally and one fall could change everything. and she has four children rather than just one
