Have you had your free venison burger?

I think PC Plot is one of those very handsome men with negative amounts of sex appeal. Lovely to look at but the idea of actually coming into physical contact with them is curiously unpleasant. Besides, we all know that Fallon is MEANT to end up with Jazzer, who is sexy sex on lovely legs, shearing sheep bare-chested.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 29/06/2014 22:21

I've always pictured jazzer as willie the caretaker from the Simpsons

Blue You are the Betjeman of the 21st century!

It's So dull at the moment, when the best the sws can do with the wonderful Lillian who deserves much better, is some fraud related knitting. Oh have mercy.
And even Linda sounds bored and sanctimonious DAvid and Worse Wife of David who I cannot bear, it's all so boring and the 'comedy' isn't actually funny, it is a bit of arch comment or banter which is sounds like someone with no sense of humour straining for a joke as a terribly constipated person might strain upon a reluctant stool.
Begone all of them and Roy and Lizzie was just nauseating. no natural human feelings there to respond to it just sounds like it's been conceived of and written by a committee and that doesn't work.

ppeatfruit · 30/06/2014 13:37

mrsjavier It's TA fgs nothing is supposed to happen! We can't have Lil knocking off pc plod can we?

PseudoBadger · 30/06/2014 16:21

It's So dull at the moment

Here's the antidote to the current dullness:

Ambridge in the Decade of Love - Richard Stilgoe explores how The Archers coped with the Swinging Sixties in episodes thought lost. From May 2003.

stilllearnin · 30/06/2014 19:15

Fallon for pig girl!!

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 30/06/2014 19:17

Nice theory, Toomuchtea!

I was cheering Susan on just now. She sees through Tony and quite right too. Shameless manipulation.

TeenyfTroon · 30/06/2014 19:44

I love Jazzer. Can't see why Fallon doesn't (yet). And he can sing.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 30/06/2014 19:50

So of plod will have ha to cancel the date because he's currently negotiating the safe release of 3 kids, a kitten and 6 puppies from the grips of a crazed gunman. Fallon will feel bad and this tortuously doomed romance will limp on for a few more weeks. Yawn

LillianGish · 30/06/2014 19:56

Marks place.

BoreOfWhabylon · 30/06/2014 20:11

I can't believe Pol Pat and Moany haven't yet thought of the obvious solution to their porcine woes - send for Hannah the Pig Girl.

She would sort things in no time and prove so indispensible that P&T would then adopt her and disinherit their vile, entitled brood.

Also, surely it's only a matter of time until Fallon buys Jaxx (with the aid of the Ambridge Finance Fairy)?

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 30/06/2014 20:24

If Roy gets sacked and follows Tom to Canada, might Fallon take over at LL?

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 30/06/2014 20:32

Mmm - I wondered about Fallon > LL.

Am just starting to listen to Ambridge in Love!

PetulaGordino · 30/06/2014 20:43

I so hope fallon sticks to her guns. You don't have to go out with someone just because they fancy you

Tony was doing a good line in emotional blackmail (and competitive tiredness with pat). Go susan!

impomea · 30/06/2014 21:04

Teeny-I agree .Jazzer looks like Marty Pellow in my headSmile

Bluestocking · 30/06/2014 21:58

Blush Thank you so much! I love Betjeman!
By the way, you are all wrong about Jazzer's looks. He is the spitting image of Hugo Speer in The Full Monty.

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 30/06/2014 22:22

I have missed over a week's worth so am completely out of the loop with TA and this thread. It had even fallen off TIO. Using my phone I wasn't able to find it until I had the genius idea if searching for the word "HellRob" which brought me nicely to you Smile

R4 · 30/06/2014 22:47

Toomuchtea did you hear the obit for JP-T on this week's Last Word?Sad

What a delight to hear Susan in full-on rant, having a go at Neil. That's the Ambridge we want!Grin

Icimoi · 01/07/2014 12:05

It seemed inherently unlikely that Fallon would go into full-on teenage strop mode on hearing that PC Plot was held up - surely if she stops to think for half a moment she would realise that it's in the nature of his job and is highly unlikely to mean he's playing fast and loose with her?

mummytime · 01/07/2014 12:09

I found that a bit unbelievable, but then I found it unbelievable how everyone was badgering her to go out with PC Plot.

BTW the vote this week is "Should Fallon go out with PC Plot".

Oh Nauticant That link is soooo funny esp. the young Jenny saying in high pitched upper class tones as if she's asking for a cup of tea... " Oh mummy if I wasn't so fond of you and father I'd run away and become a beatnik"!!!!! And the 50 year old teddy boys OMG Grin Grin Grin.

Ref Jaz. I wouldn't wish any female a life with effin' Jazzer; he makes a Tom cat seem the a model of self control . Poor Fallon what's she done to deserve him????
