To keep changing prams? **help me please**

I need help!

I've currently got an almost one year old, and three prams.

I've got, a joie chrome travel system, a bugaboo cameleon 2, and a mothercare Nanu stroller

I had the Joie chrome first and I loved it when ds was tiny, it's light, basket is big it was fab. He just doesn't sit right in it any more, his legs are far too long and he just looks like he's hanging in there by his bum in the harness. Doesn't look comfy at all.

The cameleon is just too bloody heavy. I like the way he sits in the bucket seat, he's got more room and looks comfy. But it's too heavy for what I want it for (I live in countryside lots of hills etc) and I don't drive (well I can but no car or Desire to get myself one) so lots of walking. This is initially why I bought it but it just doesn't work for this. Basket isn't accessible enough for shopping etc, and it's a pain in the arse to get in oh car (mondeo so not small)

The stroller is just used for nursery and I have no issues with it but I want something parent facing.

So - can someone recommend what I should get? I'm trying to sell the bug and the joie.

Ideally I'd like

Parent and world facing, bucket type seat (or just roomy with leg support), big accessible basket, as light as possible, not mega expensive (will prob buy second hand) suitable for a tall 1yom

My youngest is 3 so we are moving out of the buggy but i loved my babyjogger city mini GT. Practical in every sense. If parent facing is a deal breaker, have a look at the City Select. Its heavy though.

I have the baby elegance Cupla, it's great! My one year old ds is 98th centile so quite tall and he has loads of room in it, it's both parent and world facing and really easy to fold, very light, we've had it since ds was born, best money ever spent, I love it

I've tried armadillos and I thin they feel flimsy :(

I'll have a look at city select. I really do want parent facing!

What about a Phil and Teds or are they too bulky? They are perfect for off roading. Not parent facing though, is that a deal breaker? We got ours when I had dc2.

I also have a bugaboo Bee which I rate highly. I still use it for my 2 year old and it's gone through two children.

After an icandy and a terrible chicco I bought a MyBabiie for £100. She can sit upright or recline, easiest fold down I've had and huge basket.

I think the hobby one has a point! It's just a buggy,and you already have 3. What does it matter? You push it around, they are all basically the same.

It really does have to be parent facing.

I'll have a look at easywalker. I don't like the look of bugaboo bees.

Does the mybabiie parent face?

I also have a slight buggy obsession and have gone through a few (sold a couple) but have 4 at the moment for 2.5 yr old and newborn. I have Armadillo Flip XT travel system which is fab but fave is the Babyjogger City Mini GT which I still use for toddler occasionally. Only -ve for me is that it's quite a roomy buggy so toddler had to grow into it; he seemed tiny in it at 10 months when I got it. You're restricting yourself if you only want parent facing though. You will never find the perfect buggy (I've tried!) so need to compromise somewhere.

No they're really not hence why i want a different one. If you enjoy pushing your child round, struggling with heavy buggies or your child looking squashed - fine. I don't.

Buggies are not all the same!! Because they fulfill the same purpose doesn't make them the same....

Parent facing is a must for me, my kids are nearly adults and even today I accredit their amazing vocab to the fact that we looked at each other and talked for the hours we spent pounding the streets.
I think it's a feature well worth having and if I could find it 16 years ago, I bet you's can now.

That is one of the best, light, compact, easy to fold (with one hand) good size basket and can practically go in any car.
