It says 63cms wide when folded???

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 11/12/2011 20:38

Ooohhh that's naughty.....It says 82cms on the picture I can see (a red one).

I just had a nose at the single versions and they have the same folded dimensions so they've obviously just made a mistake on the doubles listings. Love all the colour ways though, it's nice to have lots of options!

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 11/12/2011 20:42

I like the air tyres, adjustable handlebar, seating options etc. It would be a great walking pushchair.

aswellasyou · 11/12/2011 20:42

I thought the 63cm refered to what we would call the length, rather than width.

saoirse86 · 11/12/2011 20:44

I didn't read it properly but it says it has different wheel options, I wonder which it comes with. 4 air tyres and the adjustable suspension make it look good.

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 11/12/2011 20:45

You can choose whether to have air tyres or foam filled when you order. The foam make it 2kgs heavier but at 13/15kgs it is light for a twin pushchair. I love the shiny wheels :)

2 year warranty too :)

So are you getting one twinkle? Xmas Wink

suzie38 · 11/12/2011 21:33

It's a double ice cream pushchair!!! Looks good though...I'd go for the air tyre option...Now i'll be looking at the single versions again...DH thought i'd changed my mind about moving but i'm dying for a detached house so i don't have to listen to noisy neighbors charging up and down their stairs (there goes the elephant again) I could use the dining room as my office/scrapbooking room/buggy storage...The table in the kitchen would suit us fine...DH doesn't want to have to drive far to work but that location would make journey times the same for both of us...Plus it'd put us in the catchment for the secondary school i went to...No idea about primaries though...That's the one thing i do feel good about staying put, i like the nearest school though will try for the outstanding one near my parents and my work, and that i also went to.

saoirse86 · 11/12/2011 21:38

suzie I remember you were looking at an icoo but I can't remember which one, this one seems quite cheap. Xmas Smile

suzie38 · 11/12/2011 21:42

That's an original one, that came before my model...I'm after the 4th model, the Photon, but it won't be available until the New Year and i think i read somewhere that does mean January.

saoirse86 · 11/12/2011 21:45

Oh well! Xmas Smile

BrassMonkeyBaubles · 12/12/2011 11:41

Tiggy, do you think the ew qtro would cope with off road stuff like heather, very rough ground, crossing streams etc? I was just going to get the fixed wheel classic, but am not sure if seat size is as large as the qtro, plus the qtro has a huge basket, and I like the raised kicker.
Also is baby jungle the cheapest place to buy ew? I can't remember the name of the other place you can get them...

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 12/12/2011 12:54

I honestly can't answer your question as its not something we have tried to do. I liked the raised kicker though and the four wheels. I think 4 wheels is always more stable. I bought mine in the US.

BrassMonkeyBaubles · 12/12/2011 14:54

Misdee you are a star!. That pic gives me a good sense of size. How did you find it to push and use?

misdee · 12/12/2011 16:37

trying to remember as dd3 is now 6. nothing stays long in this house, and i cant go back to the old pram forum to check my review at the time as it was on msn groups.

it came with the little stroller wheel which i loved. the fixed wheel was ok, but not as easy to manovre as the old fixed wheel mb, which i think i swapped this for.

it was a nifty little buggy from what i recall.

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 12/12/2011 16:59

I don't know about the ice cream :)
I still can't decide re the 3 wheelers. But I wouldn't be surprised if they all go one by on because ultimately we will get a GT or there will be something else to try. We also have the +One which short term is driving me nutty, but I hope to find ome way to put it easily into single mode. My major Grrr is that I wanted to get all the off roaders on the beach but I simply can't do it. It's too dark on an evening and we do not have the space to keep all of them over the winter. A couple will probably stay. I have someone testing them all at present. She's just taken the Babyzen today. Her son loved the light!!

Looking at all the easywalkers, I have decided the sky is the one I like the look of best. In olive.
I would have to sell the babyjoggers to pay for it though. It would also have to do for both off road and public transport. A tough role to fulfil.

suzie38 · 12/12/2011 21:31

God i've had an awful day...My mum told me that the 12 year old daughter of a family i used to clean for has died...Reading messages on Youtube and Facebook, she hung herself because she was bullied by 2 sisters...I used to look after both sisters when they came to the playgroup i worked at...I am so so shock that this could have happened to a lovely girl...She was such a lively toddler, nicknamed Bizzy Izzy!!! She was 2 1/2 when i stopped cleaning for her family...I was there when her mum went into labor with her...She and her older sister would always chat to me if they saw me delivering papers in their close...In fact their Graco double pushchair is still in my parents garage...The world truely can be a shocking place!!!

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 12/12/2011 21:33

Gosh that sounds like a hard day (((hugs))).
