BrassMonkeyBaubles · 13/12/2011 12:45

Thank you for the birthday wishes (for DD1)
Happy Birthday to your Dd also Prams!
I'm not making a cake as dd wanted the Baileys cake from Iceland, and some "Sours Shots"!!! I will get some cupcakes for the other children as they will be expecting cake and I'll have to explain the pretty coloured shots are not for kids either!!! It's a little difficult catering for all ages at times.

No I'm not 28 Xmas Blush I had my big 4 0 earlier this year. Though mentally I'm often around age 15! Lol

misdee · 13/12/2011 12:51

what on earth is a pick up sticks buggy?

saoirse86 · 13/12/2011 12:53

I just saw on fb that it's frigg's birthday too! Happy birthday everyone! Thanks

now this interests me. am wondering if it will be good for a 16months gap.

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 13/12/2011 13:00

monkeys you do have a very wide age range 19 - 3, it made me feel old when dd1 started secondary school, my big 40 is next year, Xmas Grin hope she enjoys her cake and sour shots [what happened to normal drinks, black russians were the thing when i last went out drinking, many years ago,oh i feel old i don't even understand the drinks out now Xmas Blush]
i have just looked at that yezz you have all been on about Shock and why!!!!! its got to be designed by a male, the zapp was a bit rubbish, but compared to the yezz Xmas Hmm

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 13/12/2011 13:02

wow the 13th is popular, my dd's lucky number must be 13, she was born on the 13th, was 13oz heavier than her sister and born 13 mins past 6 and her grandad lives at number 13.

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 13/12/2011 13:05

misdee it has no hoods, but then thats just me, a pushchair needs a hood in my eyes

misdee · 13/12/2011 13:06

IIRC, you can get hoods for the opera seat units.

saoirse86 · 13/12/2011 13:19

misdee that is the pick up sticks one! Xmas Grin

BrassMonkeyBaubles · 13/12/2011 13:22

Happy Birthday To Frigg also! X Thanks

aswellasyou · 13/12/2011 13:58

Yes that's my the pick up sticks. You can get hoods quite easily for it. I believe Truth had one. Or was it TIY? Xmas Hmm

aswellasyou · 13/12/2011 14:00

Oh gosh, happy birthday Frigg. Are these all St. Patrick's Day celebration babies? Xmas Wink

aswellasyou · 13/12/2011 14:02

I see they've dropped the price and listed the carrycot and carsest seperately.

misdee · 13/12/2011 14:36

It no no this side of xms. How much do they usully go for?

aswellasyou · 13/12/2011 15:02

I've only seen two sell on eBay in 6ish months. The first went for £150ish and the other for about £60, but wasn't that great condition.

FriggFRIGGYPudding · 13/12/2011 15:07

Hello! I new I'd find you eventually!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLETIGGY...oh I see, there are a few more birthday thiefs girls around today, how very odd we all do seem to have a few weird things in common don't weGrin

Soooo,a few things, firstly I left my rumble seat at a wedding a few days ago I'm trying to get it back but it was in a hall and the key holder is quite difficult to get hold of!!
Secondly... My vista is creaking SadSadSadSadSadSadSadSadSad

Thirdly,it turns out DD is not quite ready for no buggy... I NEED a double, one with big wheels so it can get through snow....,I'm thinking BJCC or elite?
It has to be cheap... Any other suggestions?

Lastly, any weird spelling mistakes will now be being blamed on my lovely shiny new iPad GrinGrinGrin

misdee · 13/12/2011 15:14

well i dont want to step on your toes aswellasyou. :)

saoirse86 · 13/12/2011 15:59

frigg you could contact this seller about a courier. I'm sure it's this one I've seen relisted a few times so they might take an offer! Xmas Smile

TruthSweet · 13/12/2011 16:01

I had a single version that lasted at most 45 mins before we returned it to the sellers. The seat was tiny and DD3 who is on the 50th%ile at just 2y was too big for the hood, the chassis had about 4-6" of play in it from side to side (from what I remember).

On the plus side it had a huge basket so if the chassis was sturdy would have been great for shopping.

TIY had a double club a few years back but I'm not sure of hat she thought of it.

On a personal plus DD2 doesn't even need inserts for her Kickers and she doesn't need to see the pod lady for another year! Her hypermobility (at least in her feet) is on the wane. Grin

saoirse86 · 13/12/2011 16:05

Or this one. If you wanted this one and they won't send by courier I could always collect it and play with it then you can have it collected by a courier from my house! Xmas Wink

BrassMonkeyBaubles · 13/12/2011 16:21

Is your vista creaking from the part where the suspension is? Mine went through a phase of creaking.. I turned it upside down and sprayed with silicone spray. This helped a bit, the creaking returned a few days later, I sprayed again, then it stopped again. It's not been noticeable since then. Think whichever parts in the suspension that were rubbing have rubbed themselves smooth!

FriggFRIGGYPudding · 13/12/2011 16:32

GAH! Out bid by £5!Sad

And it's my birfday and everyfink SadSad

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 13/12/2011 16:42

Gosh, I can't keep up today!!
Happy Birthday to everyone! Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks
I hope everyone is having a good day!
I love my iPad Frigg. it gets used all day long by us all. How did you manage to leave the Rumble seat?!! I hope you get it back soon.
:( re the creaking. I hope the silicone spray works or Uppababy can help.

DD had her trial morning at nursery today and it went well.

Aha re the pick up sticks BC pushchair. I knew you would have seen it. I don't often trawl EBay looking.

Truth Hurray re DD2. That is great news. We have been told this afternoon that DS is unlikely to need an operation on his eyes which is fab. He has to have further eye tests though, but although he looks like he has a squint, he actually doesn't. It's the bridge of his nose / skin that's covering part of his eye and he should grow out of it!

Someone organised a courier and they are coming at 7am tomorrow :(

Kooltrade are listening re GT wheels on the Versa. They asked for more info!! So keep talking about them :o
