I list mostly bin price, so if it doesn't sell I can just relist for another 30 days. So long as my price is reasonable it normally sells and its better for my pocket than letting things go on auction at 99 p!

suzie38 · 21/11/2011 07:58

I could never sell a pushchair via auction so i always do BIN...You can set your auctions from a higher price but obviously get charged for it though.

pramsgalore · 21/11/2011 09:22

bin sounds good, its been years since i sold anything on ebay and i can not remember anything about doing it. shall give it a go this week though, i am still not brave enough to list my mima though, as worried about paypal and collection only, if you did not have to offer paypal it would be going on

misdee · 21/11/2011 09:42

fecvking hell, dropped the bdual off the stupid f-ing step! twice! . its bloody hard with two kids in the seat. f-ing stupid long wheel base [goes back to drawing board]

pramsgalore · 21/11/2011 09:45

oh no, don't you have the mb duet arriving soon though, maybe that may be better

misdee · 21/11/2011 09:49

beginning/middle of december hopefully. just wish the step was a couple of cm's bigger so i could do the double tilt in easily. i cant even get up backwards. Sad

pramsgalore · 21/11/2011 09:52

would it be poss to cover it with a ramp, i have a ramp at my front door because the drop was too high for a pushchair to take forward or backwards with out really tipping it right forward or right back so far it was risking baby falling out.

pramsgalore · 21/11/2011 09:53

did not want a step for your reasons [two steps to close together]

misdee · 21/11/2011 09:53

dont know. i gues sit would be. will wait and see if the duet copes with the step, if not will have to look at changing the step somehow.;

pramsgalore · 21/11/2011 09:56

or make a platform and steps over whats already there mine, dp made out of decking

Tiggywunkle · 21/11/2011 10:03

Misdee - It's 86cms between the front of the front Duet wheel (when it's tucked under ie going forwards) and the back of the back wheel if you want to get measuring.

pramsgalore · 21/11/2011 10:06

i would be looking at trying to address the step, because if the duet don't work and the b-dual don't, i have not got a clue what would to be honest

Tiggywunkle · 21/11/2011 10:30

The Peach Blossom or Pear?? They are both single chassis and are small compared to other doubles.

misdee · 21/11/2011 10:56

woud have to try them out properly really. urgh i hate being a pramo

thisisyesterday · 21/11/2011 11:12

Why not take the pram out and THEN load kids in? that's what I had to do with the teutonia double, cos it wouldn't fit thjrough the door.

if i had sleeping baby, i just left it right outside the front door so they could carry on sleeping

MonkeyJuice · 21/11/2011 12:44

Pssst! 12% discount at www.kiddicare.com kiddi12

TruthSweet · 21/11/2011 13:26

This is where I am grateful I have a funny back to front house (footpath access to the front and road access to the rear) it means that if a pram doesn't fit through the tiny ex-council house front door it'll fit out the patio door at the back (unless it's an Urban Detour double then it get's stuck and tips over!!).

I went in MC today to have a play - according to the salesman the Baby Jogger Verso is online but not instore - I suspect he didn't have a clue what I was talking about (he was showing me the My3/4 fold [4 different buttons to press!!] and I said that's why I'd love a baby jogger verso easy fold - it's online apparently Hmm).

Like the look of the Oyster but the seat is very open and doesn't look comfy.

He did seem most perplexed that I didn't want a MacLaren - surely not every one has a Mac? It seems pushchairs (as opposed to umbrella fold buggies) are just heavier they are not any better Confused. Anyway umbrella folds out numbered the pushchairs by about 2 to 1 so wasn't too impressed with selection. They did have a Obaby Zoom (used be Lebruss Zoom/ABC Zoom) but that's not suitable as a double for us. Would have loved to see a Brita B-Dual/B-?? whatever the single is called.

misdee · 21/11/2011 13:57

this is yesterday, ebcause i dont like doing that. i have 5 children to get out o the door in the mornings and a big dog. i would prefer to get everything done inside the house, rather than have everyone rushing in and out, forgetting bags, the dog escaping, losing a child, a child screaming because they are outside without mummy etc etc.

Tiggywunkle · 21/11/2011 14:07

I have tried to buy a Zoom from three independent retailers and all talked me out of it with tales of things breaking, expensive repairs out of warranty etc.

Re the Versa, believe me I have my ear to the ground! The Kooltrade rep is here next week to pick up her bits and pieces so I willquiz her then :) But last week she knew nothing more than we knew from Cologne. Someone else told me it was clear the Cologne Versa was a prototype which implies it is some time off being produced. I am expecting the GT around spring time (because it was more finished), and I bet it's the end of summer / autumn before the Versa comes out. But the US is the place to watch as they will almost certainly get them first.

misdee · 21/11/2011 14:13

i eyed up a zoom yesterday in town, and then saw the long wheelbase. thats a no-no for me then lol.

aswellasyou · 21/11/2011 17:41

I've had loads of visitors this weekend so am just catching up on here. I can't believe how much selling/sorting/tidying is going on! Shock Well done everyone! Grin

TS, what an idiot salesman! I love correcting them though. Blush

misdee, maybe the Zoom would stretch all the way from the ground to the doorway, bypassing the step altogether!Grin I think I'd be putting in a ramp personally-it'd probably cost less than all the pushchairs you've bought to try. Wink

TruthSweet · 21/11/2011 18:32

I cocked up to - typed Verso and it's Versa Blush

aswellasyou · 21/11/2011 20:05

Here's the Mima Kobi charity listing on ebay.it if anyone's interested.

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 21/11/2011 20:13

that looks like a xari?! Confused

aswellasyou · 21/11/2011 20:26

It is a Xari! Blush [idiot]
