I've got the prams from under the stairs to list on eBay...just about to photograph....but I don't really want to do it!
I'm not wanting to list the BJCM in particular....it's never my first choice to use...but is so darn practical...
I can't think what else I'd grab if I got a call saying "grandpa is I'll get on the train and be here ASAP!". It's the only one realistically I could get on a bus with I think....although the carrera folds small, I don't think it's as light or easy to handle when folded. Right, think I've talked myself out of listing that one for the moment....
This is the worst part of pram addiction...having to sell to make room at home!

disaster with the bdual on one of those magnetic travellertors at the supermarker. the bloody brakes locked on. i had a desperate 2mins when i thought i had broken my buggy Sad managed to get them off again and walk home.

it holds a great deal of shopping.

aswellasyou · 18/11/2011 14:03

dobby, I've just looked up the 2012 B-Dual and I was wrong about the tyres being air filled.Blush Wishful thinking I reckon. Wink They're actually foam filled. I'm still guessing it'll push better but maybe not worth waiting for. The colour on the picture I found here is stone, but I assume they're carrying on with the other colours too. I quite like the stone canvas myself. PT have written underneath that it will now be made with 5 point harnesses, but it already has 5 point harnesses. Hmm They're a pain to get the footmuff on/off with though. Maybe they've made that easier.

misdee, did you just not press the button down hard enough? I kept thinking there was something wrong with our brakes, but it was actually that I wasn't pressing down properly. I like that it has a red/green indicator so you know if the brake's on or not. I don't even notice now that I'm pressing harder than I was before.

misdee · 18/11/2011 14:11

i was pressing it very hard. i had to rock the back wheels to get it released. am thinking magnetic travellators and bduals dont mix. next time i'll take the lift.

THE BJCM4 HAS ARRIVED!!!

Whoohoooo!!!

I have to say the wonderful people at Kooltrade sorted it out for me and even offered to deliver it in person to me.

It's been worth the wait though :)
It's teeny compared to the monsters I have around the house.
It's got a lovely black frame :)
Plus the 2011 enhancements which my older 3 wheeler never had - the sit upright straps, PE Board.
It's just so dinky!

BUT with the wheels off both the Elite and BJCM4, if you ignore the obvious differences eg footplate and handlebars, you would be very hard pushed to say which pushchair was which. I stacked them, one on top of another and there isn't much in them size wise. The wheels really do make all the difference.

I had similar issues from new with my B-Dual brakes but as aswellasyou says you need to be firm.

I was just reading about the 2012 B-Dual - it just says 'rubber back tyres for greater suspension' - gosh! I found the B-Dual bouncy enough! There is a new two spoke wheel design - probably the main way to spot the difference. There's going to be a new buckle and harness so that the waist straps can be adjusted independently of the shoulder straps. There's a lovely all red colour with black frame shown.

Hahaha re having to make room at home! Somehow.....somehow my baby HAS to get into his own proper cot soon!!! I have no idea how!!! We can barely open the door for pushchairs - I bet there are 3 doubles, 4 singles and an assortment of seats in there. Plus there's another 5 singles and 1 double in the hall. Plus elsewhere and on loan!
But...the BJCM4s arrival does mean we can start to turn things around now :)
Hurray!

Tiggywunkle · 18/11/2011 14:21

Yes you sometimes do need to push it forwards to release it. Hubby said it was a particular type of releasing brake. The Verve is similar.

Tiggywunkle · 18/11/2011 14:24

Ohhh and the pram shop was shut Shock. I have no idea why...I need to e mail them. So I didn't get to play :(

misdee · 18/11/2011 14:27

surely if you keep in your room for a bit longer he'll soon skip the cot and go into a bed ;) he is older than my boy, and i'm aiming for next spring for a bed for him. unless he decides to copy his sisters and climb out sooner.

Tiggywunkle · 18/11/2011 14:34

The problem is more that he will soon climb out of the cot he is in!

misdee · 18/11/2011 14:35

ah right. i find travel cots are more escape proof. less levarage.

can his cot squeeze into dd's room? surely you canT lose your pram storage area?

aswellasyou · 18/11/2011 14:46

Tiggy! Shock I was starting to think the BJCM4 was an urban myth! Wink How annoying about the pram shop.
Where have you seen pictures of the all red on a black frame B-Dual?! Or is it a secret photo you've been sent? I hope not.

Tiggywunkle · 18/11/2011 14:46

Lolol you read my mind. I stood in DDs room yesterday wondering if DS could fit in too, but there is no way! We may well move his clothes into her room though so I can block off his drawers etc. Bless him - he's barely used his changing mat, or been in his room at all! There's always the bath to fill ;) and there's spaces down drawers etc to slide the odd pushchair in! (we have two bathrooms BTW before you think we would turn smelly!) lol

misdee · 18/11/2011 14:49

ds only sleeps in his room. all his clothes toys etc are in drawers under the stairs or in the living room. i really got to get organised and sort the rooms out as got to squeeze another baby in somewhere. but they are only this big [gestures with hands about the size of a newborn]]

Tiggywunkle · 18/11/2011 14:50

No, it's is a magazine that's just literally an hour r so ago, dropped through my door. It looks gorgeous! Just my colours! I really wanted the Crimson BJCM4 - badly wanted it - but my Buggysnuggles are brown and black, and the B-Dual red fabric has shown up all the dirt, so I swapped. I wish I hadn't in some ways because we do have red and black Snunkies, but black is practical.

I heard that the BJCM4 took a gold award place at some award ceremony yesterday with the BJCM3 taking silver. I think it was in something like a lightweight stroller section.

Tiggywunkle · 18/11/2011 14:51

Lololol re the size of a newborn, but it's the umpteen sets of clothes they need before 18 months plus the nappies you go through at 20 a day lol!

misdee · 18/11/2011 14:53

washables. but they take up two drawers :s

misdee · 18/11/2011 14:54

i have kept s most of ds's stuff so its all stored nciely, just need to get it in the right rooms. trying to persude dh to board the loft so we can store stuff up there

aswellasyou · 18/11/2011 14:57

Mima are doing another charity eBay auction in a couple of weeks.

Tiggywunkle · 18/11/2011 14:58

I cant find a photo of the red 2012 B-Dul online :( It looks very like the red B-Agile though.
We don't have a loft :(

suzie38 · 18/11/2011 15:20

How do i contact eBay about the mess up...Is it via the resolution center??? But perhaps via a non automated way if you know what i mean???

suzie38 · 18/11/2011 15:27

I've 3 boxes of stored clothes in the loft that i'm slowly eBaying off now...DD has an Ikea Varde 12 drawer chest in the living room that used to be full of her clothes...As she got bigger they went into 3 fullsized wardrobes...Only stuff downstairs, is pj's, vests, pants for when toilet trained, socks, and 2 drawers of washable nappies (that hopefully i'll get back soon) plus a drawer with washed wipes and eco disposables for bedtime, i was never brave enough to use cloth at night!!! But if i get the house altered that chest of drawers will go under the stairs and buggies will have to be folded and go in cupboards...Soon i'll only have the Brio Go, Bumbleride Flyer and Flite, Nuna and Citisport at home...Shock horror...The other 2 are at grandparent's houses.

suzie38 · 18/11/2011 15:27

DD would like that dragon Mima, she's taking after me and liking reptiles and amphibians!!!

Tiggywunkle · 18/11/2011 15:34

You can phone EBay - there are phone numbers and your need a PIN which you need to go through the process to find. They are good yo talk to but ultimately you will need to go through the resolution centre, open a case, wait for the buyer to respond and then you will get your fees back. It all depends how fast the other party responds to how long it takes.

Tiggywunkle · 18/11/2011 15:35

Excuse typos! The PIN s given to you when EBay finally reveals their telephone number but you need to go through 20 questions to get there.

BTW, it was the Twinner Twist Duo that we took. You could see the back of it on one shot.

suzie38 · 18/11/2011 15:48

How do you find the 20 questions???
