i see it now, the bar flips up and down or in the middle, it just stays in the middle on mine, but why would you need it to move like that Confused

suzie38 · 28/09/2011 10:07

Pretty sure the one in JL i played with stayed up or down so had 3 positions you could use it in.

pramsgalore · 28/09/2011 10:15

yes i have found the buttons, it flips up, in the middle and flips down, but like me think most people would not notice this as i just have it in the middle like most bumperbars

pramsgalore · 28/09/2011 10:16

locks off in all 3 postions

pramsgalore · 28/09/2011 10:18

its like an adjustable handle Grin can not believe i missed it Blush

suzie38 · 28/09/2011 10:27

Hee hee...Glad to be of service!!!

Tiggywunkle · 28/09/2011 22:15

I loved the gate opening on the Kobi. It's hinged really well.

suzie38 · 29/09/2011 07:54

I've had interest in my Orbit from an American lady living in the UK...Sent a long email as to why i was selling it...Anyway she's had a few pushchairs but not as many as me, but her all time favorite is a Tako JumperX...It comes in up to 99 colors!!! Mind you did we have a discission about this or very similar in the past??? And it was a Tako, that someone i work for, confused with a Techno...But that one had fixed wheels, was a pale orange color and looked like a chavs dream pushchair!!!

pramsgalore · 29/09/2011 08:13

yes, this is my dream pushchair Wink www.ebay.co.uk/itm/natalie-tako-2-1-pram-/250900463001?pt=UK_Baby_BabyTravel_Pushchairs_GL&hash=item3a6ad53d99
Grin and i think i choose the right colour too Wink

pramsgalore · 29/09/2011 08:18

my dd2 saw the pic and said i like that, you could get that one mummy!!! Blush i will be choosing her pushchair for her when shes older Hmm

suzie38 · 29/09/2011 08:30

To be honest the Jumper X looks like it's pretty all terrain on a similar scale to the Easywalkers as it has 4 air tyres which would be a dream to me...But it's 65cm wide!!! And i think i'd love the suspension but some of the colors are very OTT, including all pink, blue, purple ones with matching wheels!!!

TruthSweet · 29/09/2011 09:44

DD1 clocked the ice cream monstrosity too and went 'I love the pram, is that your next pram?' 'Erm no sweetie, Mummy has some taste' Wink

pramsgalore · 29/09/2011 09:50

there was someone at school with a pram that colour, same type of fabrics as well, but it looked in the style of a buzz, i smiled everytime i saw it.

suzie38 · 29/09/2011 09:52

Looking at videos on Youtube i've come across that Coletta Matteo...Same frame as Spin but obviously in Eatern European countries they like there lie flat seats rather than our bucket style seats.

pramsgalore · 29/09/2011 09:55

they must be all made by the same people as the chasis are the same, i could be tempted but the mothercare spin has bad reviews and thats whats stopping me Hmm, they seem to go wrong and things break on them

suzie38 · 29/09/2011 10:02

Yes i've spotted that...Brakes appear to be rubbish...Wonder if the Wave gets similar bad reviews???

Tiggywunkle · 29/09/2011 10:24

I laughed at the ice cream monstrosity comment! Lololol

aswellasyou · 29/09/2011 10:29

There are loads of those Tako pushchairs in Liverpool!Hmm I didn't know what they were until just now.
My friend has a Spin. It seems really heavy to push and the back wheels have really splayed out after 12 months' use.Confused She reckons it's a good pushchair, but her other one is a Jive!

pramsgalore · 29/09/2011 11:03

the wave which looks the same has good reviews, bit the spin has really bad reviews, i hate pushchairs where their back wheels splay out, i would worry the wheel would snap off when using it, noticed the buzz back wheels do this after time, more on the one with the brake on.

suzie38 · 29/09/2011 12:06

They're Polish pushchairs i've discovered...Some colors are nice but i can't give up on my Xari quest to get one can i??? I'd be banned from here [wunk]

pramsgalore · 29/09/2011 12:15

yes, suzie you do need a xari Grin

we need a shop where we can rent a pushchair, then we could try loads with out having to buy them. why can shops not let you try before you buy, say a weeks trial.
i do think my next pushchair will be the bj versa, so a while to wait.

suzie38 · 29/09/2011 12:30

Well my replacement Donkey handle is here now so just got to fit it...Maybe i should sell the Donkey first so then i wouldn't need to dip into my savings to buy the Xari...I just like the idea of 4 air tyres like the Donkey which the Tako has but it's so wide!!! Though Vigours are 62cm wide and some of those Brio ones are 65cm or more.

pramsgalore · 29/09/2011 12:54

i never look at how wide singles are, only doubles, keep the donkey, get the xari, then make your mind up, you may regret getting rid of the donkey because of the air tyres, have you heard back about the orbit, dp got a puncture when he took my orbit out, he has now repaired it, but it was going flat again this morning, so i have ordered 2 new inner tubes and some of that puncture proof stuff you put in to the inner tubes i may do my cameleon as well, well get him to, i am no good at things like that Smile

mamaesi · 29/09/2011 13:32

hey you ladies seem to know so much more than me...

does anyone know what the next best double to come out next year will be?

I will need a great double in jan/feb 2012 for a very large 21 month old and a newborn.

Was looking at the verve but it seems the weight limit is only 15kg and my daughter is already 13.5 and only 17 months.
I thought the MB duet was perfect but I have heard quite a few complaints already and am kinda bummed it may not be the best one.
Baby jogger citimini double perhaps? Peach blossom, but sooo expensive...

are there new fab doubles coming out? I have family in america that can bring something over...is there anything there in the way of doubles?

pramsgalore · 29/09/2011 13:44

i have a verve and weight limit is 20 kilos per seat and it is fab, i push around a 5 year old and an almost 3 year old
