i would call cr direct, they will sell you one, they are very good, you can only get the red seatpad over here at the moment, though i do like the pink but both would go with silver i think, i like the silver on black frame. thoses codes where from their buying department i think she said, i take it jl still have not got their order of cosmo ones yet, i bet cheeky rascals will have one in stock, it only took 2 weeks to get mine and mine was ordered in. you may have one by next week Grin

suzie38 · 19/10/2011 18:24

When i went to Solihull, i was told the Cosmo would take 3-6 weeks for delivery so next week would be great!!! Especially as my parents are away so there would be no chance of it turning up while dad is here...Though it's mum who gets cross and notices new pushchairs!!! Shame as i love the pink seat cushion, maybe they can sell me that set up [hwunk] DH likes the black seat best, either suits me.

That was very kind of the seller to throw in tha Aria...I got an Aria for free, through freecycle...I liked using it but prefer the Citisports, so i sold it on eBay.

Hungrydragon · 19/10/2011 18:27

I loved my Aria, lovely little pushchair, if it had 4 swirling wheels and a flippy handle it would be my perfect pushchair

HauntedPramsScreamsGalore · 19/10/2011 18:37

cr won't sell the pink one due to fire regs Sad i asked

HauntedPramsScreamsGalore · 19/10/2011 18:43

i had an aria, nice little pushchair, fold nice and compact as well, although i had a double one so not brill to push with the weight, but i bet the single is lovely Hmm may have to try a single

suzie38 · 19/10/2011 20:06

Or do i buy online from a company in the Netherlands??? It'd cost me £777 and i think i can use Paypal, not that i've got tons of money in there at the moment...If i sort the Brio Go carrycot sale out, that'd be an extra £60 though...I've emailed the company to ask about if i did have problems, but it appears they'd send spare parts out according to their bumf.

HauntedPramsScreamsGalore · 19/10/2011 20:14

i would buy in this country, but then thats just me, i had already decided if i could not get the one i wanted from cr, then i would not bother and get the silver one instead.

Tiggywunkle · 19/10/2011 22:52

I would buy exactly what you really want :) It's a one off purchase - buy it and enjoy it :)

But....before you spend all your money....do you fancy bidding on this one off, exclusive Bugaboo Chameleon????? I think its rather eye catching!!!

Tiggywunkle · 19/10/2011 22:53

Here's the main photo

FriggOmortisFRIGG · 20/10/2011 09:51

ooooh,i like that tiggy...anyhooo,ive come back,i need you guys...

DD has decided she doesnt need a buggy anymore, she scoots everywhere,i havedraged the verve around with only one DC in it for weeks now,the other day we went to a theme park and she didnt jump in once all day long,we walk half an hour to nursery every day and she scoots or walks all the way,so i need a single again! what do you guys reckon....

vista (maybe with the buggy board)
BJCM (3 or4)
bee (+?)
oyster
any thing else ive missed?

i want easy to use, easy smallish fold, nice push, mainly used on pavements but with the odd park/grassy area, RF would be nice,i'll most likely buy 2nd and i'll most likely buy it 2nd hand....help!

suzie38 · 20/10/2011 10:00

Monkey's would say the Vista of course but at 5'2" the handle was too high for me plus the BJCM are too high as well...I wouldn't get an Oyster as the hood annoyed me most plus i did have the overactive bendy front wheels.

FriggOmortisFRIGG · 20/10/2011 10:06

thanks suzie...im quite tall,at 5'8 i loved the height of the BJCMD i had.....hmmmm:
vista (maybe with the buggy board)
BJCM (3 or4)
bee (+?)
oyster

suzie38 · 20/10/2011 10:13

Bee+ you need to be careful of in case it's got the dodgy wheels...If you buy second hand the seller might omit that infomation...Mine shimmied but i didn't realise it was a design fault at the time, thought it was just a quirk.

suzie38 · 20/10/2011 10:15

I'm stuck with phone and card to hand, putting off calling CR because i hate calling people!!!

FriggOmortisFRIGG · 20/10/2011 10:17

i hate calling people too...i wish i could do everything either face to face or via email...good luck!

FriggOmortisFRIGG · 20/10/2011 10:23

i think i want the vista with piggyback board gannosh footmuff and snack tray.....ahhhh! thats lots of ££££££'s!!

save me from myself!

suzie38 · 20/10/2011 10:25

Snack trays are great!!! I love the option of having one but then you can get them for the BJCM.

HauntedPramsScreamsGalore · 20/10/2011 10:27

suzie, phone them, they are really nice, i hate phoning people as well. But if you phone them today, they will be able to tell you how quick they can get one to you, i would not be surprised if it's next week, they do free next day delivery.

suzie38 · 20/10/2011 10:30

Got this message from Babytrader...

Message Body

Hello Susan,

When something is wrong you have to contact us and we will help you to solve the problem.
The deliverytime is around 1 week.
And yes, you can pay with paypal ;-)

Kind regards Alice

Saving nearly £100 is attractive!!!

HauntedPramsScreamsGalore · 20/10/2011 10:33

hmmmm tempting, if you funded paypal with a credit card are you more covered, as don't credit cards have their own insurance or something for when goods go wrong.

suzie38 · 20/10/2011 10:36

Paypal comes via bank account with credit card as back up in case i don't have enough money in account, but then i have overdraught so credit card is never used...Not sure if you can specify the fund source.

FriggOmortisFRIGG · 20/10/2011 10:39

you can specifiy the fund souse, but not sure how.....

FriggOmortisFRIGG · 20/10/2011 10:40

source! on souse!

FriggOmortisFRIGG · 20/10/2011 10:40

not,not on,blimey,my brain is not functioning today!

HauntedPramsScreamsGalore · 20/10/2011 10:41

yes you can change the funding source on paypal, i think it does give you the option before you confirm payment though, where it says payment funded from account number at the top, then underneath this, other payment options or something like that in smaller wrighting. i know you can add cards in your paypal account, as i have done this
