I saw the Micralite tandem! That rear seat has to be a tandem...how on earth would it fold up otherwise.
I bet its really speedy....having used a micralite with board on the back. They have the handlebar extenders on. V much needed with the add on seat I think.
I'd love to see pics of it folded...

Doh! Tired brain in extended use mode.
That rear seat has to be an add on (we can already see it is forming a tandem configuration!

I have walked 36 miles since Monday...

OP posts:
suzie38 · 16/09/2011 23:03

I've driven about double that and there's no way i'd want to walk half of it...You'll be wearing your shoes out!!!

Tiggywunkle · 17/09/2011 00:05

Yes, the Stroll Air...well done!
Wow re walking 36 miles since Monday!! I used to do about 20 miles a week and that was enough! I can barely do a fraction of that since having the children! I was chuffed as anything to make it to the beach yesterday on the bike!
I am on my PC now and I dont think the Micralite is an add on now that I can see more clearly. The chassis is longer and at a different angle at the rear - the triangle part. I don't know enough about Micralites but it looks like they are selling this as a new tandem (under £500) which can be altered to be a single should you wish. So yes it is an add on seat, but is a new single as well???? You must just reduce the incline of the chassis and swap the wheels around or something. But it doesn't look like a permanent tandem.
I am busy finding out about the Quinny Moodd because there's a lot of info online. It's 66cms wide which is 1cms wider than the Buzz! Also there is the hydraulic opening but no automatic lock on a premium priced pushchair. I love the colours though. There appears to be something odd going on with the lower seat fabric - it seems to fold up in newborn mode. There is a safety carrycot as well as the foldable one. With it being called a safety carrycot, I wonder if you can use it in a car like the Britax Baby Safe Sleeper?

MonkeysPunk · 17/09/2011 07:28

Lol, I do wear shoes out! There's no way ill be walking all that once I've passed my driving test. Apart from anything its the time it takes to walk it all.

aswellasyou · 17/09/2011 11:38

I like the idea of a tandem Micralite, but they have to put a hood on the back seat surely?! Hmm I wonder if they've made it compatible with a carseat or carrycot like the others.
All the new pushchairs are very exciting! I like the Moodd but it could have a more interesting and narrower chassis. I also like the new Easywalker-I don't know what t's called.

In other news, it's my daughter's first birthday! Grin

aswellasyou · 17/09/2011 11:42

The Easywalker June it's called. It's a bit like a Cameleon and an Oyster mixed up. I like that it's simple looking

MonkeysPunk · 17/09/2011 11:56

Happy first ever birthday to your daughter aswellasyou ! x x x
I think the Micralite tandem is overpriced. It's just not comfy enough looking for something that expensive. The rear passenger cannot parent face, so I would, if looking in that price bracket choose something else.

Happy 2st B'day little aswellasyou ...Hope you have a brilliant day...Any links to that Easywalker June, as it sounds interesting.

suzie38 · 17/09/2011 13:19

I bought a Bugaboo Bee cocoon from the NCT sale for £12 so looks asthough i can make a good profit selling it on Smile

suzie38 · 17/09/2011 14:04

Found the Jane pictures on Facebook.

aswellasyou · 17/09/2011 20:43

Thankyou both! Grin I can't believe it's been a year already. Shock

I agree that the Micralite's expensive, especially considering that it appears more like a Fastfold than a Toro and Fastfolds are £150ish.
Suzie, what do you think of the Easywalker June? The Bee cocoon was a bargain!

suzie38 · 17/09/2011 21:27

The pictures not that great but i do like the look of it...Wonder when better pictures will go on Facebook or their website??? Think i'll try sell the cocoon for £30 as one sold for £41 earlier today.

Tiggywunkle · 17/09/2011 21:43

I have hints that there will be more to the June than first seems ;) It's an interesting one with possibilities ;)
Happy 1st birthday to aswellasyou's daughter :) I hope she had a good day.

aswellasyou · 17/09/2011 21:43

I've searched for pictures on Google too, but only a few came up. I couldn't find anything about dimensions, weight, etc or when it's going to be released either.

I know two people having babies next year so I've got an excuse to endlessly research new pushchairs to give them advice.Wink

aswellasyou · 17/09/2011 21:44

Thankyou Tiggy. We had a lovely day out at a Butterfly farm. Is the June like the Donkey so you can add another seat?! You're probably not allowed to say are you?

aswellasyou · 17/09/2011 21:45
Tiggywunkle · 17/09/2011 21:50

I've just done the same aswellasyou to see if I could see! But critically at present Easywalker have no UK distributor...which means no June here until they get one....but it's a good looking pushchair - doesn't it look like the City Select ;)

aswellasyou · 17/09/2011 21:53

It doesn't look like it'll slide out sideways. I want to know what the secret is!! I do really like the look of it, and seen as Easywalker make good pushchairs this could be a seriously good new one to the market, with or without secrets!Grin

aswellasyou · 17/09/2011 21:57

What's the metal bar at the back, near the wheels for?

suzie38 · 17/09/2011 22:02

Reminds me more of a bee but with better wheels.

suzie38 · 17/09/2011 22:06

Looks like the brake to me.

aswellasyou · 17/09/2011 22:11

Oh! Blush I thought it looked like something attached to it!

Tiggywunkle · 17/09/2011 22:18

The silver back bar at the back is unusually thick for most pushchairs though? Plus it's quite high...????
