Tiggy, do you know how much the Jane Twone is? I bet it's expensive but I like the look of it for compactness.

Tiggywunkle · 15/09/2011 19:07

No I don't. When I saw it, the Twone was very much a prototype ie couldn't really be touched or even the rotating display couldn't be stopped. Is there news of it coming out? I keep looking at the M&P T2. In some photos it looks huge, in others it looks small. Its ages since I saw one.

aswellasyou · 15/09/2011 19:30

I've read that it's due out 'at the end of the year', but I think we all know what that means!
One T2 on eBay says it's 107x64x125cm so it's reasonably big but not ridiculous.

Tiggywunkle · 15/09/2011 20:11

I wouldn't hold my breath bearing in mind the pushchairs I saw back in March which were ready to go, ate not all out as yet, and some won't be here until next year. I bet it's not out until spring at the earliest. The T2 sounds long at 125cms?
I am starting to look at single pushchairs which is a bad thing!!

aswellasyou · 15/09/2011 20:17

As long as you're not looing at Maclarens! Grin

MonkeysPunk · 15/09/2011 21:06

I have got over my maclaren phase thankfully....
I had my 3y 3m Ds measured.....93cm! Also only 14kg too. I think that's ninth centile for height and twentyfifth for weight. Lol

DD has always followed the 9th line for height and varies between 25 and 40 for weight, though she's not fat, just muscely like me...She was 82cm the last time she was measured and 11.5 kg, mid June time...Robyn won't be 99cm until she's 4 1/2 exactly according to her red book...Mind you somebody on a birth board had a daughter who was so tall at around 2 years of age, Robyn wouldn't be that height until she was 6!!!

suzie38 · 15/09/2011 21:31

Off topic...Does anyone buy Gymboree clothes??? They do measure smaller age wise than UK clothes but i bought 3 2T outfits off eBay and they are massive...So yesterday i bought over $200 of clothes from the USA but in size 18-24 months and now panicing they're going to be too small or at least not last long.

Tiggywunkle · 15/09/2011 21:38

I did my fair share of Maclarens and Gracos as a nanny.
Yes we buy loads of Gymboree stuff and to be honest I find the sizing about right for my DD. Having said that she's just gone into 3T trousers and 4T tops aged still 2 so who knows lolol. But that's kind of about right for her. She is only a few weeks off three and so 3T bottoms are fine. She's always been in a size bigger on top because she's got a long back and short legs! I love Gymboree clothes :)

suzie38 · 16/09/2011 06:26

If you want to see a picture of DD, have a look at my Orbit listing on ebay...I may change the picture later.

Tiggywunkle · 16/09/2011 09:53

Aww she's cute! Lovely blond hair. My daughter is soooo tall!

pramsgalore · 16/09/2011 12:46

tiggy the lady on the pliko switch thread, did not know that doubles have seats where baby can pf, i don't know anything about the new doubles, i have showed her bb but you are know all about them Smile

Tiggywunkle · 16/09/2011 12:58

I will have a look now. I came here to ask about selling on EBay. I usually play safe and put a BIN on...or offers...but I am thinking of doing an auction. I want a good price for something that you can't get hold of at present. And it's free listings this weekend. So do I start low to get interest or start mid range and hope to get some interest, or start high and hope for just one bid....or put a reserve on it??

friggFRIGG · 16/09/2011 15:52

What is it?
can you start low with a highish reserve?

Tiggywunkle · 16/09/2011 16:26

I could but reserves cost...I think I will stick to a BIN.

suzie38 · 16/09/2011 19:22

Oops...I've posted eBay items to the wrong people...First time it's happened...Suggestion is they post to each other and i put the postage cost in each of their Paypal accounts...How embarrassing!!!

Tiggywunkle · 16/09/2011 21:27

Ooops! Never mind! I hope they sort the swap out! I have posted an item in the wrong size before ie the same item. Annoyingly it was new but it came back as clearly very used!
We are off to York tomorrow on a day trip. Last time we went we had the Mima Kobi with us. This time the new Peach Blossom will be coming with us. I hope it handles the cobbles well.

suzie38 · 16/09/2011 21:50

It's all sorted out, paid the postage costs through Paypal and given them each others addresses...Will be extra careful in the future!!! Hope you have a great day in York tomorrow...Looks like it has chunky enough wheels to handle the cobbles...I'm selling at a NCT sale again, tomorrow...I made £148 last time...A similar amount would help with Xari funds especially if i can get my pushchairs sold off.

Tiggywunkle · 16/09/2011 22:07

Good luck with the sale. Rick has sent my Easywalker Qtro today. I don't know how I will hide that one from DH! He doesn't know it's on the way and was a bit of an impulse buy!!!

suzie38 · 16/09/2011 22:21

LOL...Rick's good, in a man sort of way...Answers emails, but directly to the point!!! Plus never charged postage on the extra box...Will pay him back if i buy from him again but thinking i best stay away from pushchairs i've not tried out!!! I love the look of the Qtro but don't need it, so i'll refrain from buying one...I also loved that American double you posted a link to, a while back...It was much nicer than the single.

Tiggywunkle · 16/09/2011 22:28

Have you seen the new Micralite tandem? It's on Winstanleys FB. It looks like an add on seat though with no hood, and you have to move the rear wheels back? If it's not an add on then it's strange how they have done it. It has to be an add on lolol Help me out!!

Tiggywunkle · 16/09/2011 22:29

Which Pushchair was that? Not the Bumbleride - hmm... I can't remember the name of the other - the one a bit like a Donkey?? I am soooo hankering after a Donkey but DH won't let me buy one to try :(

suzie38 · 16/09/2011 22:48

It reminded me of the First Wheels but was way better.

suzie38 · 16/09/2011 22:48

Found my saved link...Stroll air.
