This is as imaginative as I get!Wink
Frigg, my Mum works for the City Council doing disability adaptations to resident's houses. She goes to assessments with an OT, decides on adaptations needed, designs them, draws up plans, applies for planning permission and oversees the work. She's been in the same job since she was 18 so she's learnt a lot about all sorts of dsabilities along the way.

why didnt you like it though suzie?
is it heavy?

suzie38 · 24/07/2011 00:03

No it's a dream to push, reminds me of my Silver Cross pram as it's very bouncy even fully loaded it's a 1 finger push but it is heavy and bulky when folded...I just don't have the room to store it when i keep on wanting to buy new pushchairs...So i can't justify keeping it...Plus as i mentioned the black gets too dirty with my messy DD...The yellow color would suit us better...DD looked so cosy sitting in it...A really relaxing ride.

I'm not sure but maybe the vista and bugaboo are compared as they are both top sellers in the USA - I think with the vista slightly ahead of the bugaboo...but I could be wrong there?!
I think the whole, you get a pram top, and then a toddler seat, and the large rear wheels and smaller swivel front wheels is why the two compete in the USA market. Personally I am preferring the vista - as the adjustable calf rest - and ease of switching seat around and reclining seat - and the fact it can fold in one piece - and the easy fold, and the huge basket and the wheels seem to spin a bit easier on the vista making it feel nippier to me are all really nice points to enjoy amongst many others.
I'll have to have a look at the brio sing, sounds really nice.

MonkeysPunk · 24/07/2011 01:11

Wow - the Brio Sing really is very similar to the Uppababy vista - I wonder if the piggyback or rumble seat fit the brio sing?!

Herqules pushchairs on offer here

suzie38 · 24/07/2011 12:43

Looks like i can get an Orbit after all...The seller has added a black one to the website...Just need to get the ok from DH but can't see him saying no, but will mean no Xari but after that other lady queried the seat size then this might be the best option as the seat looks a good size and Holly Shultz got all her kids in it, though she didn't show the oldest because she was too heavy.

Tiggywunkle · 24/07/2011 12:58

Whooohoooo! That sounds brilliant! At least you can easily get a Xari at any point you would like one :) That is so cool :)

aswellasyou · 24/07/2011 13:07

How exciting suzie!Grin I'm really interested to know what it's like with all its features. And you can do a review for Tiggy.Wink

Yes please :) I dont have a Donkey one either. BTW to whoever mentioned it some days back I would welcome multiple reviews of the same pushchair because it gives a rounder picture :) If you dont have much time, some quick pros and cons via BB would be fab :)

I am just really excited that Suzie may have found an Orbit to buy :) Which reminds me I need to see where all my parcels currently are :)

Tiggywunkle · 24/07/2011 13:32

Whoohoo the Ergo is already in the UK having cleared customs at East Midlands just after midnight. The Ultralight is in Philadelphia still, and the raincover is simply in transit but at least its moving!

aswellasyou · 24/07/2011 13:41

I've just had a look at that Bongo site to see if I can get an Aprica shipped here. Has anyone looked at the shipping costs? They're extortionate!! Shock It's be cheaper to fly there myself.Hmm

Tiggywunkle · 24/07/2011 13:54

OMG I see what you mean!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On a $500 stroller (relatively small sized) they are charging $932.02 shipping, $304.69 tax, $40.05 for duty giving a grand total of $1827.76!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shock

MonkeysPunk · 24/07/2011 15:59

Wow, shocking shipping costs! Makes amazon.com shipping seem so easy.

suzie38 · 24/07/2011 16:06

Yes, i agree if Amazon sells something that they will ship, then they're an excellent choice...Just a shame they can't shi everything they sell.

suzie38 · 24/07/2011 16:08

Tiggy you should get your Ergo tomorrow Smile

FriggFRIGG · 24/07/2011 16:47

FriggFRIGG · 24/07/2011 17:12

FriggFRIGG · 24/07/2011 17:13

and my dad works there, goes twice a week.he could pick it up on the way from work,i dont mind sending it on for you....

suzie38 · 24/07/2011 17:21

I've just bought a black Orbit Baby G2...No idea at the moment when it'll arrive as the seller will have to get one from Orbit Baby himself first i think since black wasn't listed on his website...Maybe i should ask if he can get me a grape color pack!!!

suzie38 · 24/07/2011 17:26

Thanks Tiggy for finding that website...I get cross if i've found a few sites but then they don't ship so i give up!!!

It'll take him about a week to get the seat himself and will then ship straight away, using UPS.

Tiggywunkle · 24/07/2011 17:31

Oh how fab Suzie :) I am really chuffed for you. It's a pretty special pushchair. Frigg..would you seriously be able to pick it up etc for me if I bid?? Am I treading on anyone else's toes?
