This is as imaginative as I get!Wink
Frigg, my Mum works for the City Council doing disability adaptations to resident's houses. She goes to assessments with an OT, decides on adaptations needed, designs them, draws up plans, applies for planning permission and oversees the work. She's been in the same job since she was 18 so she's learnt a lot about all sorts of dsabilities along the way.

Ooh there is no basket...and why is there the double bar at the back? For the carrycot maybe?

Tiggywunkle · 01/08/2011 23:38

Aha..there is a basket on another website! LOL

aswellasyou · 02/08/2011 10:54

Tiggy, the Twin Club is the game of pick up sticks!Grin
Ebaby have sent me a bigger discount code for the Xari this morning. The email says it's for £30, but it actually only takes off £26 making it £697 delivered. I wish they'd send me a £300 discount code and get the white back in stock.Grin

Is the ebaby code for 30 euros?

I'm sat here looking at the single nipper thinking is it really that much smaller/ lighter than the BJ summit xc.....
I know Tiggy, you tried to tell me....
Will have to put side by side and compare!
Found my tyre pump at last anyway!

Tiggywunkle · 02/08/2011 11:44

Would love a photo if you compare! I compared the Elite and Nipper doubles this week - did you see it? The main difference is the height and weight of the Elite is greater. Length wise the two are almost identical and wiry ewe the double nipper is wider. Fold wise the nipper is chunkier. There's not much in it though - the real difference is the weight....and there is quite a weight difference. The Summit is smaller on some dimensions to the Elite if I remember correctly.

MonkeysPunk · 02/08/2011 11:46

Okay, the nipper is 7cm narrower and 12cm shorter than my summit xc and is 4kg lighter...so the nipper is less likely to need folding on the train....but if I did need to fold not so easy to do as the summit xc...

Tiggywunkle · 02/08/2011 11:54

Ok, I couldnt resist.

Single Elite
122 x 67.5 x 100.5 Open
85 x 70.5 x 40.5 Folded with wheels
11.9kg

Single Summit
115.5 x 70 x 104 Open
78.5 x 70 x 39.5 Folded with wheels
11.2kg

Single Nipper
93 x 62 x 38 Folded with wheels
7kg
Handle 101cm (highest point) - it is 62cm wide so are just missing the open length.

aswellasyou · 02/08/2011 11:55

Monkeys, you're right! The email says 'here's your discount for 30.00'. I must have added in a £ myself. That is £26 at the moment.

Snap. The issue is one perception though. The Nipper looks tiny partly because of the low hood. The BJs have the huge hoods which are fantastic for the child, but make it look tall. Plus they have black wheels (and the Summit has larger ones). I have a real job argue to people that the Phil&Teds Dash for example is longer than the B-Dual and BJCS and that the hood height is near enough the same. But its why I do what I do....

MonkeysPunk · 02/08/2011 13:11

Single nipper length 104cm

Tiggywunkle · 02/08/2011 13:52

Wow so the Nipper is the same length as the Summit and longer than the Elite.
Haven't you bought that Xari yet???

MonkeysPunk · 02/08/2011 14:39

I think you're comparing the summit handle height with the nipper length!

Tiggywunkle · 02/08/2011 14:40

Lol..oh yes Blush I should learn not to try to juggle children and replying! Lol

suzie38 · 02/08/2011 17:41

Think it's either a relist or another Kobi for £980.

Tiggywunkle · 02/08/2011 17:50

I love love love love love my Peach Blossom. It's going to be interesting which I prefer ie the Duet or Peach when the Duet arrives. Both very different. But if I possibly can I would like to buy another Peach Blossom when this one goes. It's just carried both children and two baskets of shopping home easily and I could recline my sleeping baby mid shop too. I know my daughter is heading rapidly for three but she has so much growing room left in the seat and under the hood without even removing the liner or unzipping the hood so it goes higher. It doesnt look huge and you dont automatically see the second seat (like a Phil&teds) but you have storage!!!! It doesnt fill the boot up too. I just wish it were mine because the BJCS would have been sold. It's one absolutely fabulous pushchair. Sorry for the advert but I do think it's my perfect double pushchair.....I just had to tell you!

suzie38 · 02/08/2011 18:06

Smile Glad i don't have the double mindfield.

suzie38 · 02/08/2011 18:09

No news about my Orbit yet Sad but i really think it'd better be my last big buy...The odd car boot cheapy i might do as i'll try and sell on and make a profit.

FriggFRIGG · 02/08/2011 19:46

you are making me want a peach blossom, but DD will be nearly 4 when it comes outShock so theres no way i'll be getting oneSad

still after a +One though....and i think ive decided on a 2nd hand BJCMD for the car.....and maybe a bee+ for DS on singleton outings,
all will have to be after i sell the Kobi though.

i DO love the Kobi,it's just i wish id had it 10 months ago....

Tiggywunkle · 02/08/2011 19:52

I know...I would have loved to have used the carrycot.

FriggFRIGG · 02/08/2011 19:58

me too,the mattresses look so soft

Tiggywunkle · 02/08/2011 20:18

Frigg, did the ABC go ok? I lobe the way the hood looks over the carrycot as well as the soft mattress. The only thing is the hood would have been noisy. I never think about it coz I am used to it but the Peach hood is noisy. There's still no news of the Duets....

FriggFRIGG · 02/08/2011 20:36

Y,Y the ABC went,i wasnt here,(ive been in hospital all day with DS) but my mum saw it off, hope it arrives okay!Smile

Tiggywunkle · 02/08/2011 20:46

Oh no, is he no better :( I am sorry to hear he still isn't well. Any signs of coming home? Thank your mum for me.

MonkeysPunk · 02/08/2011 21:45

I wasn't so sure of the nipper at first, but it really does perform well. It's extremely fast and manouverable. Very light, and not at all tippy, I can even have my oioi hobosack fully loaded on the handlebar and it won't tip the buggy!
I am going to try it on the trains/stairs bridges tomorrow.

Tiggywunkle · 02/08/2011 21:54

That sounds like a fun day out. I am glad you had a good run today.

I have officially too many pushchairs and two more to come plus the Taga second seat and the house is full. The Vista is still boxed.

BTW - very randomly - we were going to go to a village fair this weekend to support a friend (and have a nosy) but apparently a TV will be there. OH wants to go but I don't...what would you do? What pushchair could I hide behind successfully? Lol
