This is as imaginative as I get!Wink
Frigg, my Mum works for the City Council doing disability adaptations to resident's houses. She goes to assessments with an OT, decides on adaptations needed, designs them, draws up plans, applies for planning permission and oversees the work. She's been in the same job since she was 18 so she's learnt a lot about all sorts of dsabilities along the way.

Bjce is much bigger than the bjcm. Longer wider and bigger wheels.
The swift was fab until the spring in the lock uncurled itself. Then it wasn't safe to use and I found out MB customer service sucks, so have been put off that brand totally. Even now, as far as they're concerned they think I'm awaiting a repair and they still have not contacted me!!!
The nipper is similar in size to the swift but even lighter, and much cheaper.
The bjcm is almost perfect aside from no rear suspension and lack of air tyres!

MonkeysPunk · 31/07/2011 12:14

A nipper with pull handle fold would be superb!

Tiggywunkle · 31/07/2011 12:39

The Elite is only 21.5 x 6.5 x 5cms bigger open, and 9.5 x 0 x 11cms bigger folded than the BJCM which isn't a lot really ....but yes it is bigger and it is heavier (4.3kgs). I can't believe MBstill haven't contacted you. The nipper sounds great. I am looking forward to opening my bid in a bit. OH wants to go to the beach as it's a gorgeous day so I will see ifI can persuade him to let us test drive the Nipper...

Honeydragon · 31/07/2011 13:55

Nobody wants my Cam Sad, I've still got watchers but no bids.

FriggFRIGG · 31/07/2011 13:59

where is it honey, can you do a linky?

FriggFRIGG · 31/07/2011 14:02

Honeydragon · 31/07/2011 14:11

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bugaboo-Cameleon-2nd-Generation-/170671201619?pt=UK_Baby_BabyTravel_Pushchairs_GL&hash=item27bccbdd53#ht_842wt_1140here

its still free listing this weekend so I can always relist it, I'm worried that I've started it at the price I would like at least, I've put people off, or maybe I've just always been lucky with early bidders before

FriggFRIGG · 31/07/2011 14:16

i reckon you're going to have a last minute bidding war Wink Grin

Honeydragon · 31/07/2011 14:20

I hope so!

I'm just annoyed as because i was away I put a 10 day listing on with a mint Cam, and no takers but the boots I've got listed currently still have 15 watchers and 95 views! They're not even leather! Grin

fickle bloody buyers!

MonkeysPunk · 31/07/2011 14:37

I know the elite doesn't sound much bigger on paper, but in my tiny hallway, or on a crowded train its the difference between people passing you easily or scowling as they try to squeeze by or trip over the front wheel! Same in shops.
I know I should be thankful to be past the double buggy stage really!
The elite is a gorgeous pushchair, I used to have one, with the jump seat too! I should have Hung onto it really....

FriggFRIGG · 31/07/2011 14:47

??

Honeydragon · 31/07/2011 14:48

My friend is moving overseas I'm debating whether to buy her bjcm, but need to find justification other than I haven't tried one Grin

suzie38 · 31/07/2011 14:49

I'm sticking with my Nuna which is similar to the Noa...I've had a couple of Maxi Cosi and not liked them...And size wise folded very similar to my Citisports...One of those links sells the Chicco Simplcity buggies i spotted on the Argos site last night...Including postage it's £25 cheaper and they sell one in purple...DD loves Tinky Winky purple!!!

Honeydragon · 31/07/2011 14:51

Is it the Icoo one?

Honeydragon · 31/07/2011 14:52

here frigg, it is

FriggFRIGG · 31/07/2011 14:56

oooh,thats pretty cool!

suzie38 · 31/07/2011 14:56

Somebody on another pram forum had one of those...Used it once then resold it straight away.

MonkeysPunk · 31/07/2011 16:33

www.ebaby.com has graco citisport strollers available to the UK.

suzie38 · 31/07/2011 16:37

That's great to know though i've got 2 right now...Am very tempted by the Chicco one, even though i don't need one Wink

Tiggywunkle · 31/07/2011 17:09

We took the Nipper to the beach and it was superb over the soft sand and rocks. Brilliant. However without the brake on, the wind could blow it away on the promenade even with the children in!!! Fab storage pockets even without the basket. Very surprised at how much I got in each - two small rucksacks plus drinks etc. However I am now home and length and height wise the Elite and Nipper are nearly identical. The Nipper is a fair bit shorted though and the handle is verging on too low for me. The Nipper barely fits in my car because if the extra width. It's very very deceptive! The Nipper recline is a complete grrr but it's been improved on the new model. Theres absolutely no doubt the Elite is far superior at present but I bet the new Nipper gives it a run for it's money.

MonkeysPunk · 31/07/2011 17:35

Where is the chicco one pls?

Mil has just said she is calling tomorrow at 11, and apparently H is coming home then also....I thought it was eve!

I had rearranged delivery of the bargain nipper for tomorrow..... so I think I can guess what might happen.Blush

fairimum · 31/07/2011 19:29

hello again - SO I am liking our vigour - bucket seat is great and DS sleeps really well - but missing the first ever buggy we got icandy cherry (must have done good research at the time!) - sadly it got broken on holiday and never replaced (over a year ago) - so considering looking for a bargin 2nd hand cherry one ebay (have a zapp xtra - was a cheap alternative, but just not as nice as the cherry) - BUT the vigour folded is really too big in the car (have middle of 3 seats in back of car removed and buggy goes there as dogs have the boot - so wondering if can have everything and get an apple jogger as mean can have my bucket seat/rear facer AND the bigger wheels to go across the field... am i mad? is the apple awful?

thank you :)

aswellasyou · 31/07/2011 19:46

I've just notice that the Britax B Agile that's about to be released here has four wheels rather than three like it does everywhere else. Tiggy, you probably told us that but I didn't remember.Grin

OP posts:
Tiggywunkle · 31/07/2011 20:16

Yes :) I was told we had four wheels and not three. It's on BB but I probably didn't say here.
I hate EBay...it all takes so long to do and costs so much.

aswellasyou · 31/07/2011 20:20

I know! They take far too much money from you and give you no protection from scallywag buyers. Sad
