£3 million. Indoor pool. Needs updating, but lovely.

HappilyDivorced89 · 02/04/2026 14:12

£650,000 - no, I wouldn't buy it. The only things I like about it are the walk in wardrobe/dressing room and laundry room. Too big for what I actually need as well.

15 million.

This one is on the same street

The location is fabulous - walk to everything and close to the Charles River but the only reason I'd move there is for the fabulous original wide-plank floorboards in some of the rooms.

£6.5 million. Wallpaper's a bit busy for my taste

Goodness, that is the UK equivalent of the Home Alone house, but much more stunning! What a fabulous house. I'm moving in if I win EuroMillions 😍😅

That dining room, and those wines! It's so beautiful 😍

Zooplas distances are wildly inaccurate, well over 15 miles for the first 11 listing's. So the first one that's actually within 5 miles

I have absolutely loved this house for years, and it would be so bloody handy for football training/matches. It's bloody cheap too.

Rightmove has more choice, again though the distances aren't accurate. So first one within 5 miles.

I liked it as a wedding venue, but I sure wouldn't buy it.

Check out this 14 bedroom detached house for sale on Rightmove

14 bedroom detached house for sale in Cringletie House Hotel, Cringletie, Peebles, EH45 8PL, EH45 for £2,500,000. Marketed by Christie and Co, Hotels

@OlderGlaswegianLivingInDevon

Fight you for it!

Wouldn't mind living in Readymoney either but, as it gets extremely busy during the summer, I prefer the seclusion of the Polruan property.

I'd ditch the bar too 😊

A casual £49 million!!!

How much is the most expensive house to you within 5 miles on Zoopla?
TurnipsAndParsnips · 02/04/2026 22:37

£60 million. It’s a flat on Knightsbridge. There’s a lovely townhouse in Mayfair for £49.5 million which I prefer.

daffodilandtulip · 02/04/2026 22:45

£1.9m and no, as it’s a block of flats.

I’d buy the next one at £1.1 million. 6 bed, cottage style (I don’t think that’s the right phrase for that price but you know what I mean) and a little secret garden.

OlderGlaswegianLivingInDevon · 02/04/2026 11:49

This is the most expensive that is properly residential
( the highest is a conversion to residential so I have not included it )

No I wouldn't buy it.

You'd think at that price they could afford better CGI.

johnstownflood · 02/04/2026 22:52

21,500,000 Virginia Water, Surrey. No I wouldn’t buy it

ForeverDelayedEpiphany · 03/04/2026 00:47

Goodness. 😳

Woahbodyforrrrm · 03/04/2026 01:11

£13 million and yes I would. Though I would need to make changes so would offer £12.5 mil. The kitchen needs changing imo.

Doveyouknow · 03/04/2026 01:23

£60 million but it's in Belgravia and I wouldn't want to live there. The one in Chelsea looks lovely

Ireolu · 03/04/2026 01:23

22 million Hampstead. I wouldn't buy it. 100k monthly payments for 30 yrs doesn't appeal.
