For me £3.25 million and no I wouldn't.

£895,000.
5 bedrooms and 7(!) bathrooms, currently under construction.
I wouldn’t want to live in it. If it’s the area I’m thinking of, it’s quite close to the M74 so, thanks but no thanks!

Lesina · 01/04/2026 22:26

£3 millon and yes I would buy it. Beautiful equestrian property with river front access. I have been in the house and it is fab. It’s also within 10 mins walk from me. So no issues with schools 😂

BraOffPjsOn · 01/04/2026 22:26

3.5 million - it has an indoor swimming pool so I’m sold!
it’s not actually the area I’d pick with my many millions but I guess one requires the acres for a pool!

RightOnTheEdge · 01/04/2026 22:28

£800,000 and yes I would buy it. It's really pretty.

£8.5M south Manchester.
wouldn’t buy it, don’t like the road

Denim4ever · 01/04/2026 22:30

The most obvious one is less than 2 miles from us and it's 4 million give or take the odd 100 thou. It's part of a small terrace of mansions that rarely come onto the market. I've been inside one of its neighbours and - if fully renovated - they are spectacular, but I'd rather be further from traffic noise. There's only one edge of town road going past it but they are otherwise surrounded by open ground, field and pasture so those sounds are inescapable. Plus expensivo to heat. So I think I will wait fir a different 'dream house' 😉

Bunfighter · 01/04/2026 21:29

£2.9 million. It has 10 bedrooms but needs a lot of updating.

Think you must be near me as same. Jesmond

wendywoopywoo222 · 01/04/2026 22:34

11 million. Would love to be so close to the sea and the wonderful views very near sandbanks.

ElsieJay · 01/04/2026 22:36

This one came up for me too !
Though I also saw the £12.5 million house in St Catherine’s , formerly owned by Jane Seymour ( the actress, not Henry the Eighth’s wife ).
I’d buy it like a shot as it’s very near where our son lives ( in a considerably more modest property ).

feellikeanalien · 01/04/2026 22:36

1.5 million. 5 bed period country house in the National Park with 9.65 acres and a paddock. Needs to be totally redecorated though. Gorgeous setting. Not that I could afford it but I've decided that my next move has to be to a bigger village so no I wouldn't buy it.

FoundAUserNameDownTheSofa · 01/04/2026 22:38

£3.95m. 9 bedrooms. But it’s not particularly nice, I wouldn’t choose it if I had that money to spare.

The next most expensive is ex-Omaze house

LibertyLily · 01/04/2026 22:38

£4.5 million. It was built in the 2010s in traditional style but without the character of an old house. Has an indoor pool, cinema room and six bedrooms. On a private beach estate where we once considered buying a lovely period house for a fraction of that price tag!

And no, I wouldn't buy it.

Denim4ever · 01/04/2026 22:39

Fatiguedwithlife · 01/04/2026 22:04

wtf that is outrageous.
that would be £70,000 where I live max.
who in their right mind would buy a shitty flat for over £800K??

50mins commute out here gets you 3 bed Victorian semi property in what they jokingly call a village because the streets are 'lanes' and we have green common land and the odd farm. The coffee shop scene and the grazing cows 'within walking distance' sells it 🤣

HappyToSmile · 01/04/2026 22:42

Offers over 20million.
Would I buy it? No :)

u3ername · 01/04/2026 22:43

£9 million. With tennis courts and a manège. And garages for twelve cars.
I wouldn’t.

aintnospringchicken · 01/04/2026 22:49

Yes,if I had a spare £3 million I would buy it.

OtherS · 01/04/2026 22:49

Denham Place, Denham, Buckinghamshire, 5Bl. UB9, 12 bed detached house for sale, £45,000,000 - Zoopla

Listed though. And don't love the area, mine's much nicer. Quite like the idea of my own lake though, and my own VIP spa. Though tbf I reckon I'd be fine with just a bog standard spa really. I'm no princess!

ForeverDelayedEpiphany · 01/04/2026 22:55

What a beautiful home. I'd love it. Almost a dream home in a way, and definitely something I'd literally need to win the lottery for... 😳😅

Blimey. I used to live up the road in Chalfont St Peter and drove daily through the outskirts of Denham to get to work in Uxbridge. I know the properties around Bucks were expensive but I'm sure they weren't this expensive...😳

Barrenfieldoffucks · 01/04/2026 23:00

£2.5 mill, and yes, definitely

TeaandHobnobs · 01/04/2026 23:01

£4.95m. Would buy it, if it weren’t for the naff modern footballers wives esque interior on what is otherwise a lovely arts and crafts house. Handily close to a reasonably good station too.

Prefer the view from my house though!

FirstDayonthePlanet · 01/04/2026 23:02

£4m and yes I’d buy it!

but perhaps more interesting is the 2nd most expensive, £3m, which boasts 42 bedrooms!

RightOnTheEdge · 01/04/2026 22:28

This is so lovely. If i had the money to buy it, I would. It's got such a good feel to it.

ReignOfError · 01/04/2026 23:03

£3m, 6 bedroom Georgian farmhouse, outbuildings and a couple of hundred acres of land.

I wouldn’t buy it because I know the owner and don’t like him. I don’t like the house much either.

mjf981 · 01/04/2026 23:07

Some of these London house for 50 million quid are just insanely priced. That new build townhouse? WTF? I understand a mansion on land or even a large period terraced home with a back garden, but a modern box for that much money? Obviously catering to the foreign buyer but I just don't get the appeal..
