Slightly off topic. But I’m really pleased I’m not from London!…. https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/72224267/ 😳

wtf that is outrageous.
that would be £70,000 where I live max.
who in their right mind would buy a shitty flat for over £800K??

WhosGotTheKeysToMyBimma · 01/04/2026 22:04

OIEO 4 mil and no I wouldn't.

Recently built on a beautiful plot by the estuary, and yet a totally mid boring design. I bet the architect wanted to cry.

Hard landscaping everywhere outdoors and indoors looks like it echoes.

An acid green kitchen 🤮 Nice gym though and a tennis court so I suspect someone in the fitness industry owns it.

hahabahbag · 01/04/2026 22:05

£2.75m maybe but too far to get to the pub!

Alwayswonderedwhy · 01/04/2026 22:05

3.5 million and no wouldn't, it's a modern house. There's lots of lovely period properties around the same price which are amazing but the houses I prefer in the area and what I'd actually realistically want to live in are around £800,000. Still out of my budget unfortunately.

Squidgygherkin · 01/04/2026 22:05

£6.25M and no I wouldn’t buy, not even a toilet on every floor.

Pricelessadvice · 01/04/2026 22:06

£4mil about 3 miles away. It’s stunning, but you could get a lot more property and land for less if you go further afield.

WoahThreeAces · 01/04/2026 22:08

Offers over 20 million. I cannot imagine how much money i'd have to have to justify the purchase but hell yeh id buy it! Swimming pool, game room, cinema... Yes pls

BringBackCatsEyes · 01/04/2026 22:09

2.7 million.
16th Century Grade II listed Suffolk manor house with over 7,000 sq ft of main accommodation

Yeah, I'd buy it. It's got a pool.

DreamyJade · 01/04/2026 22:09

£4 million. 6 beds. I wouldn’t buy it. It looks like a Holiday Inn from the outside.

5 million, would i live in it, no only because its too big.

Redrosesposies · 01/04/2026 22:09

£5m Moated Hall and Mill House in 125 acres in Cheshire.
Yes as long as I had a few £m spare for the upkeep😄

TrashPanda · 01/04/2026 22:10

£3m for a 4 bed farmhouse & barns on 100 acres of pasture and woodland. The house is lovely and I would definitely have it. The land is beautiful but way too much upkeep required

TrobadoraBeatrice · 01/04/2026 22:11

£1.6m and yes, I'd happily move in.

Would need to win the lottery first and to be honest I would probably be happier with something more modest (!) but nearer our current area if I had a million to spend.

Buscobel · 01/04/2026 22:14

4.5 million. Six bed, cinema room, indoor pool, sea views on the south coast.
No I wouldn’t want it. Too much!

stapletonsguitar · 01/04/2026 22:15

2.5m. No I wouldn’t buy it because I like being able to walk into town/to pubs etc and this one requires a drive.

Listlostlast · 01/04/2026 22:19

£1.1 million, just been reduced. 4 bedroom period farmhouse with 3 3-bedroom holiday cottages and 3 fishing lakes. I wouldn’t say no, if someone wanted to give it to me!

Lifewontbethesame · 01/04/2026 22:19

15 million. An estate with 700 acres and it's beautiful.

Was yours the same as mine? Lovely rolling countryside estate and not just the billiards room but a pool table adjoining the swimming pool!

mynameiscalypso · 01/04/2026 21:32

£60mn. But it’s One Hyde Park and I’m not a fan of the Candys.

Snap also!

Although there is another £60 million one in Belgravia - a 6 bedroom terrace that might be more promising but no interior photos. Doesn’t need any renovations apparently so an absolute steal at £60 mill!! 😉😜

I'm assuming we're getting the staff to look after it too 😂

HyacinthsAndPeonies · 01/04/2026 22:21

£11m, 9 beds, 4 baths, 5 receptions, Grade II listed, 2,5 acres, 14k sq ft property, indoor swimming pool complex, tennis courts etc.

Waaaaay too big for my liking (and don't like much of the decor) so no, I wouldn't buy it.

likelysuspect · 01/04/2026 22:21

Five million

Its not to my taste, although some of it is. Its 'only' 6 bedrooms so its not a mansion as such

But, small thing its not near a bus stop, or easily walking to the shops, no pavement outside the house. I walk past it a lot on a country walk, its round the corner from here.

I like pavements, bus stops, easy walk to train station, GP, shops etc.
