£45 million! It's 12 bedrooms and looks like something from Downton Abbey 😂

Same! And not only that, but it is garish and I bet the neighbours would be awful!

Same here, and also not a fan of the Candys. Are they (hopefully) stuck in Dubai?

I collected one of my DCs from a couple of parties there - a school friend lived there, and I have to admit, the flat was lovely, not garish at all, but the buildings have an awful feel to them.

MrThorpeHazell · 02/04/2026 08:52

In the town £1.8M and I'd think about it. In the outside villages £3M and it'd be far too large.

MiddleAgedDread · 02/04/2026 09:33

wow, so much house for the money. might have that one as my holiday home.

BillABongesq · 02/04/2026 10:29

£60 million. For a flat (One Hyde Park development). And no I wouldn't buy - I would expect a house for that sort of money 😁

MistyMountainTop · 02/04/2026 10:39

£14 million, and I wouldn't buy it because I used to know one of the neighbours & intensely disliked her!

Westfacing · 02/04/2026 10:57

I did a nursing assignment in a flat in that Candy development - insides are very nice! The flat was so big I used to get lost in it - spectacular views over the park.

£60mn. But it’s One Hyde Park and I’m not a fan of the Candys.

Me too. £60mn for an apartment is madness however you swing it.

This one, right? https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/148711631

@hillyholman

Oh my goodness ! I am in love !!!

If you win the lottery on the same day that I do, that house will be going to best offers as I will be offering against you ! It's gorgeous
( tho I will be doing something different with the room that has the bar in it )

Funnily enough, photo no 13 has ' my ' house in it, that I would buy if I won the lottery - ' mine ' is cheaper :) and smaller

10 million and yep I would probably buy it. But would prefer more land and garden.

Now this is my forever house. If I had a spare £10 million I could be very happy there.

GreenLemonade · 02/04/2026 11:32

There's a few listed for £2.8M around here. Beautiful houses but they are all in the countryside, you'd have to drive everywhere. I like to be within walking distance to cafes, pubs and shops so no, I wouldn't buy any of them.

titchy · 02/04/2026 11:54

£17m…. St George’s Hill, Weybridge

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 02/04/2026 11:54

I was rather surprised at £7M, but turns out that’s for 40 properties!

Pricuest individual property is £4.5M. I don’t like it, or the area much. I’d rather stay closer to home and save a few mill, with this one.

herbalteabag · 02/04/2026 12:01

1.9million - the house looks lovely and I would love to live in it, but it's in a nearby village and I'm on the edge of a city with all the conveniences, so not really a location I would choose for myself. I think I can find one just as good within the city!

facethemusical · 02/04/2026 12:02

£6mill, I wouldn't buy it because the nearest town is Andover. Imagine the cost of the upkeep, council tax, heating bills.

Ohcrap082024 · 02/04/2026 12:33

4.25 million. 4 bed house with over 40 acres of land. Interestingly, I would have expected to see properties in the 7-8mil bracket but nothing doing there at the moment.

Gorgeous house. I like to guess who might live in such houses. I’m getting Harry and Sandra Redknapp vibes.

Listlostlast · 01/04/2026 22:19

£1.1 million, just been reduced. 4 bedroom period farmhouse with 3 3-bedroom holiday cottages and 3 fishing lakes. I wouldn’t say no, if someone wanted to give it to me!

Where’s this! You don’t get much for less than £1m for a house round me.

cotswoldsgal1234 · 02/04/2026 13:36

16 million. A huge mansion with acres of land. No I wouldn’t buy it, too much of a hassle.

WhatATimeToBeAlive · 02/04/2026 13:38

£7.85m 😱But it is bloody lovely and has uninterrupted views to the Isle of Wight!

Wot23 · 02/04/2026 14:03

£15.5m
No, the location has gone down and the neighbours are not the sort of people you'd want to have

Completely agree with your choice. The flooring in the first one is just awful, the second looks like a real home.
