Just as the title, I really do have no words to quite capture how I feel about this property.

However, I do admire that whoever currently owns it went full-in on following their own aesthetic.

Picture 12 - who wants to sit that close to a TV of that size?!

It looks like its in a corridor, but I can't find a matching area on the floor plan.

Gettingbysomehow · 07/01/2026 13:00

How incredibly vulgar 😂
Fake grass too, the epitome of nouveau riche.

ThisChirpyLemonUser · 07/01/2026 13:00

it looks like a TV show set for gangsters

Irememberwhenitwasallfieldsroundhere · 07/01/2026 13:01

What I want to know is, who owns it?

I really want to see the kind of person behind this house!

It is properly batshit but each to their own!

SomethingImaginative · 07/01/2026 13:02

I went through the first couple of pictures thinking not my personal taste but nothing too out there, then I got to the bathroom 😂

reminds me of when I got my first house after years of renting and magnolia walls and insisted on patterned wallpaper everywhere. I did regret my choices lol

Irememberwhenitwasallfieldsroundhere · 07/01/2026 13:02

Oh, they're interior designers but don't want to be identified! That is quite funny.

godmum56 · 07/01/2026 13:03

but surely that's not a bad price for that close to London?

UnhappyHobbit · 07/01/2026 13:05

Nyeaccident · 07/01/2026 11:52

Yes that's how I feel I think, it's clearly someone living out all their dreams and I like it for that reason

Exactly this! We are all different and have our own unique styles. It annoys me when people with differing tastes look down on people. At least this person did it for them and enjoyed it! It’s very unique

Barney16 · 07/01/2026 13:05

Today's learning is that I absolutely need a giraffe.

5128gap · 07/01/2026 13:06

I love that they've created a space that has everything they want, pool, gym etc. I could have a nice life there.

MamaBobo · 07/01/2026 13:06

It’s wild….I think I really lost it at the room with the faux gold ceiling. That said I can only admire anyone who has the confidence to just decorate totally to their own taste and for their own amusement. I feel a bit sad for whoever is selling it as it has clearly been a labour of love and they’re going to miss it. Footballer who has done well in a smaller club making a move north perhaps?

BoredZelda · 07/01/2026 13:06

Yay! Let’s all poke fun at how other people choose to decorate their house. Anyone else want to put their pictures up?

Butchyrestingface · 07/01/2026 13:06

The G.O.A.T and serious commitment to fitness made me think this belongs to a rich footballer with no taste.

I love it.

BunnyLake · 07/01/2026 13:07

It would make a great trip out for kids. Pay an entrance fee and you have football, pool, a beach.

Falalalalaaaalalalalaaaa · 07/01/2026 13:08

I love it! Except the fake grass outside, that’s a shame. Wish I had space for a giraffe in my kitchen.

thinkofsomethingdifferent · 07/01/2026 13:08

It’s quite small for the price tag, you would get so much more here in Yorkshire.

MeAndMyGhost · 07/01/2026 13:09

I quite like the Tiffany-esque colour scheme in the bathroom of photograph 9.

And the kitsch part of me wants the melting ice cream table at the bottom the staircase.

JoshLymanSwagger · 07/01/2026 13:09

How much?!

The only positive is that I could see the TV from space without needing my glasses.

user491057 · 07/01/2026 13:09

I LOVE IT omg I would so live there in a heartbeat

I’m a great believer in living in your house as you want to. I hate that you have to have one eye on potential buyers ten years on to influence how you might want to decorate.

Kids would love the outdoor areas.

MorrisZapp · 07/01/2026 11:53

Footballers house, has to be! Can anyone explain the big glass thing in the utility room?

That's what I thought too

Lamentingalways · 07/01/2026 13:10

I think it’s great 😂

I wouldn’t mind the private beach 😎

It does scream lower division footballer doesn’t it.
I don’t absolutely hate it though and given I live in a chocolate box thatch that says something! I quite like the bathrooms.

Oh god this comment. The snobbery is off the scale.
