😭

When I picture a nearly £2m house - this isn't it

Just to rub salt in the wound even further - what does £1.7m get you in your neck of the woods?

Not surprised at that pricing.

We looked at a house on eversley crescent many years ago already at £1mill plus. Half eaten jam jars in bedrooms with lids off attracting flies, beds unmade. Like they had done a runner.

We extended instead as couldn’t justify the prices. But I’ve regretted it.

Eversley crescent I think gets you into Highlands’s school and the woodland way one gets you winchmore school so hence difference in prices.

But I actually prefer woodland way as a road.and top end gets you near the green.

We're in an expensive bit of north London and it would get you a 3 bed garden flat here - although it is nicely decorated. That 6 bed house in the OP would feel like a mansion to me!

My parents used to own the property in that pic - they obviously sold at the wrong time 🤣

I love this ... think its worth it....as although effectively a flat above a shop its actually 3 stories with a rare south facing private garden. Couple of minutes walk to the beauty of Regents Park or the buzz of Camden in gorgeous Primrose Hill village which is very low on traffic as its not a through route. Love it.
