Exchanged! Can’t really believe it.

Hope I can join, supposed to exchange yesterday a the request of the bottom of the chain. Who broke the chain and exchange and completed with their buyer last week of Nov. We didn't exchange yesterday and we still haven't because no one could get hold of their conveyancer, and now they have. They can't confirm if the funds will be available for the 11th when this 7 household chain is due to complete. If we can't exchange today our vendors said they will need to push back completion.

It's an absolute nightmare.

Yes the end of the journey with my Mums property and start of the journey again with mine after having my offer accepted this morning. At least I'll be in a position of experience after selling in this year's property market! And 5 chain collapses. Hopefully mine will be smoother!

We have returned the contracts for our. Re house today 🙌🏻 just waiting on the buyer to have have all of his funds released. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for us guys

I have just been told we are aiming for exchange on 12th December and completion on 19th December.... wish me luck! I've got removals provisionally booked in for 20th and SKY tv being installed on 21st. This better not go wrong!

thanks yes it's all so nerve wracking. I am a stickler for planning, I hate not knowing for sure what is going to happen. It's like living on a knife edge the whole time.

Apparently our solicitors are still awaiting confirmation on something from our sellers before we can complete. I've sent a borderline stroppy email to the seller's agent telling them to get the seller's solicitor to sort it so we can get on with our lives. Losing the will to live!

So apparently (per the sellers agent so, you know, pinch of salt) the information our solicitor needs has now been provided and the amended document on our seller's onward has been delivered but the solicitors for the purchase with the amended document now need to do a final review of their file so it'll likely be Thursday before we exchange 🙃

Got my work Christmas party tomorrow so I'll be drinking to forget.
