What a grim and soulless place.

PunchyAnts · 15/10/2021 12:15

Looks like wedding photography from the noughties.

wolfstarling · 15/10/2021 12:15

Yes thought footballer with red in their kit.

darklindor · 15/10/2021 12:16

I wonder how that yellowy green T shirt snuck in.

whynotwhatknot · 15/10/2021 12:16

omeones been told to add some colour but it looks weird

Pinkandpink · 15/10/2021 12:17

I actually quite like the house, but I’d need to rip the whole house apart from top to bottom and get rid of the decor, start again with the garden. A bit out my price range though

Bontanics · 15/10/2021 12:17

Oh my god estate agents videos trying to be a blockbuster movie trailer.

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 15/10/2021 12:17

Christ Almighty - the video

I didn't know whether to expect Kilgrave to wander out or a boxing match to begin.

MiddlesexGirl · 15/10/2021 12:18

The video is CGI. I'm thinking the house interiors are too.

Bogofftosomewherehot · 15/10/2021 12:18

Soulless.

NomoreSmiggle · 15/10/2021 12:19

What CGI has that furniture?!

MedusasBadHairDay · 15/10/2021 12:20

That video is very cringy

Mummyoflittledragon · 15/10/2021 12:20

Awful. Clinical. So passé.

AssassinatedBeauty · 15/10/2021 12:20

Looking at the clothes in the wardrobe, which are all black/white/grey and red (apart from one or two rogue green tops), I would say that the current occupant has quite rigid/fixed ideas about colour choices, possibly to the point of OCD or similar. But fundamentally, there's a lot of red because that's what they like, and it's their house!

It's quite easy to see what the underlying house is like, and easy to imagine what it would be like with a more varied colour scheme and furnishings. If you wanted and could afford a 3 million pound house in Solihull!

littlepeas · 15/10/2021 12:20

My friend lives on that road - the house has been on the market for a loooooong time and is known locally for being utterly hideous.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 15/10/2021 12:20

Apart from the utter waste of money from them having painted and carpeted everything grey and it would 90% need replaced ....
None of the red tat is a permenant feature . It can all get rolled up and taken away .
The garden is bland like an afterthought . Would've been better to leave the house more 'Blank Canvas' and planted some trees

The veranda looks a tad forlorn like they're hoping for a break from the grey .

Off to look at the video now ....

ChildrenGrowingUpTooFast · 15/10/2021 12:20

The house looks like a rich single man's house. I can see it easily being turned into a family home. None of that grey decor will stay except the carpet and wall. The garden is just a blank canvas too.

Peridot1 · 15/10/2021 12:21

Oh God that is horrendous.

BrainBleachNeeded · 15/10/2021 12:21

Literally looks like blobs of period blood.

AppleKatie · 15/10/2021 12:21

The video is hilarious, agent walking down the drive trying to be a big man ✅ Hollywood esq music ✅ shaky camera work at the end ✅ overpaced zooming around ✅

CatherineCawood · 15/10/2021 12:22

@irregularegular

OMG have you watched the video!!!!!?
On your recommendation I just did. OMG 😲 😱 🤣

WATCH THE VIDEO PEOPLE - bloody hysterical.

AppleKatie · 15/10/2021 12:23

It is a complete blank canvas if I had millions id consider it- you could make it really amazing.

But then I would probably remember I don’t want to live in Birmingham and not bother Grin

BrainBleachNeeded · 15/10/2021 12:24

Now I just watched the video 🤣🤣🤣. Someone needs to email the estate agents this thread.

Svalberg · 15/10/2021 12:25

@catblanket

Oh god. I know that road pretty well and it’s all a bit nouveau riche along there. The whole road is full of the “great and good” if Birmingham/Solihull (cough). Used to be all massive houses with massive gardens, but the area has boomed recently and there’s been a lot of carving up of land and property going on.
I used to cycle down that road when it was all lovely old houses & the Birmingham Tory MPs used to live along there. They unfortunately seem to have adopted the Wentworth Estate philosophy of knocking the house down when a new kitchen is wanted.
Threewheeler1 · 15/10/2021 12:26

@Theunamedcat

It looks like a shopping centre
GrinGrinGrin And £3,000,000! It's horrible! Imagine all the amazing houses you could buy with that. I'd want a village for that money.
