Holy crap. Money doesn't buy you taste!

MedusasBadHairDay · 15/10/2021 11:43

It looks more like a 3D render than real photos

wildthingsinthenight · 15/10/2021 11:44

Ugh!

lalaloopyhead · 15/10/2021 11:44

There is definetly a colour grab filter going on there, but jesus its like an operating theatre or something - I don't think they could have made it look less inviting if they tried....apart from blood splatters!

MaggieFS · 15/10/2021 11:46

It's a new build. Perhaps they got in a wannabe interior designer who's gone a bit overboard on the accent colour thing.

Agree also that the colour in the photos has been played around with.

Shmithecat2 · 15/10/2021 11:46

I see dead people 😬

Comefromaway · 15/10/2021 11:46

I thought it looked like it isn't built yet and its a CGI plan

NomoreSmiggle · 15/10/2021 11:46

Probably still too high a price point too

That's pretty grim but what bothers me the most is the garden. No planting, not single tree, just a blank lawn. Depressing AF

MorningNinja · 15/10/2021 11:47

And why the grey? Awful.

RedCarsGoFaster · 15/10/2021 11:47

Soulless with a stupid filter on every picture as well.

For £3million? No thanks.

NomoreSmiggle · 15/10/2021 11:48

Deffo there checked on street view - another one being built next door I just spotted!!!

Oh god. I know that road pretty well and it’s all a bit nouveau riche along there. The whole road is full of the “great and good” if Birmingham/Solihull (cough). Used to be all massive houses with massive gardens, but the area has boomed recently and there’s been a lot of carving up of land and property going on.

Couchbettato · 15/10/2021 11:49

I hate houses where it's so soulless you can't imagine what it would look like if you loved there. You can't imagine how you'd change it to give it more life because you can't bring life to the dead.

Nomoreusernames1244 · 15/10/2021 11:50

It’s a new build and some new graduate interior designer has been given the brief to make it look like you can walk in with nothing and live there.

Primark for a job lot of red, black and grey t-shirts and red towels and accessories. Cheap, looks “dressed” and modern, and they probably pick it all up and use it in the next house once it’s sold…

BoomChicka · 15/10/2021 11:51

Weirdly common in very expensive houses!! I was looking at the £1m+ houses near me out of curiosity and they all had random red rooms.. what can it mean? Is it code 🤔

SirGawain · 15/10/2021 11:52

Absolutely, but you do get a better class of tatt!
NomoreSmiggle · 15/10/2021 11:54

@SirGawain exactly 😂

This.

The house can be sorted very quickly and for not too much money. The garden will take years.

"You can't bring life to the dead" Grin

Knittingbaker · 15/10/2021 11:57

This is just everything I hate in a house!! Cold, sterile and soulless! There are some beautiful older houses round there and it makes me so sad that they’re being replaced with this. Why would you approve those photos if you’re the seller?!? I feel like it’s a colour blind test or something.

FAQs · 15/10/2021 11:58

Also the video 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Garriet · 15/10/2021 11:58

It is disgusting and I also thought clearly marketed at a footballer.

Shadedog · 15/10/2021 11:59

Weird. I thought it must be an air bnb or something but they have loads of red and grey clothes

Gonnagetgoing · 15/10/2021 11:59

It's actually not that bad - if you like red!

A few years back my best friend's SO bought a lovely North London Georgian townhouse and proceeded to paint the living room walls bright red and put black leather sofas in there.

One time I had to stay overnight there (their usual spare room where I stayed was occupied) and I had nightmares, funny that Hmm.
