How's it going @JamieFrasersSassenach ? I felt a bit sick yesterday, first side effect I've felt but I think maybe it was because I just hadn't eaten enough. Who knows 🤷‍♀️

It's going well thanks @pateandbrie - I did think on Thursday that my second injection hadn't had much effect but yesterday all food noise was gone - I had to force myself to eat in the evening, had a tiny bit of heartburn but nothing a couple of rennies couldn't combat.

No sick feelings at all (so far) - I am drinking an electrolyte drink everyday though as I think I read on one of the MJ threads on here ages ago that people were recommending that. I bought tablets from B&M that just dissolve in cold water - might be worth trying those?

I've attached a photo of the brand I've been using - I think it's about £2 for a tube of 10 tablets from B&M.

Did you stop feeling sick once you had eaten?

Total witchcraft! I was the same, thought the second jab hadn't worked as well as the first but last night DH ordered pizza and I only had two slices, and the second was a struggle. Previously I'd have polished off a whole pizza!

I did feel better after I'd eaten. I'll give the electrolytes a try, thanks! Love an excuse to go to B&M 😂

I am now almost 2 weeks in and the difference it is making is incredible. For the first time in my life - and I'm in my fifties now - I have no 'food noise'.

I haven't had any real side effects - I'm taking psyllium husk to prevent constipation and drinking plenty of water.

End of week two, although I actually did my third jab a day early yesterday.

Appetite suppression definitely wasn't as strong in the second week, and there were a few cheeky wines 🍷, so I was delighted to see that I'd lost another 3lb when I weighed myself this morning.

A smaller loss than week 1 but I'm sure week 1 was mostly water weight anyway - and it means that in total I'm down 10lb in 2 weeks! DH (who doesn't know I am doing it 🤫 even said yesterday that I look like I've lost weight. It's truly witchcraft.

I can't recommend Voy enough; from applying to receiving my pen was less than 48 hours, and it came perfectly (and discreetly) packaged with a sharps bin and a cute box to keep the pen in. I had a question about dispatch of my next pen (due to come when I'm on holiday) and they dealt with it quickly and efficiently. They also offer coaching throughout the journey, which I'm yet to take them up on but that is next week's goal!

I've done my 3rd jab this morning.

I'm 3.5kg down from when I started 2 weeks ago, which I think is just under 8lbs? I also still truly believe it's some kind of witchcraft!! On any other diet plan I have ever followed it has taken me at least 1 month and a lot of hunger and deprivation to lose 8lbs.

Appetite suppression was still quite good last week, although like you I partook in a few alcoholic drinks.

This week I want to really focus on making sure I am eating enough protein and choosing healthier foods than I perhaps have been.

I've had a chat with my coach on Voy who has suggested some good snacks. I'm really happy with Voy too.

Woohoo, well done @JamieFrasersSassenach! That's brilliant. It's amazing seeing the changes on the scales, I've been trying so hard for ages to shift the weight and nothing has happened so to lose this much in 2 weeks is just incredible!

I began on Sunday evening and apart from feeling a bit uncomfortable on Monday with very little appetite, I haven't experienced any further side effects. Let's hope this continues.

Just a little update. Week 4 = 3lb loss taking me to the 1 stone mark! Absolutely amazed as I haven’t been able to get more than 4lb off the last 16 months (since having my son and pnd) without falling off the wagon and piling it all back on plus and extra lb or two 🤦🏻‍♀️ Just started 5mg, been a little nauseous and had to take anti sickness pills but day 3 now feeling fine.
Still really impressed with VOY, My weight loss coach checks in several times a week and I can WhatsApp her whoever I need to about anything. She’s called Yvonne and is lovely and very supportive. I ordered from Medexpress and there was no mention of needing to order them. Anyway, Amazon delivering today so all good. Was reading more insane results today.

Now I’ll finally be getting started I’m nervous and excited. Scared it won’t work for me.

I have weighed and jabbed a day early this week as I think that the appetite suppression is wearing off faster now.

3 weeks in (4th jab this morning) and I've lost just over 10lbs!!! I have never lost 10lbs in 3 weeks.

I am still amazed by this wonder drug!!

My plan is to buy a syringe to get the 5th dose out next week and then go up to 5mg the week after - I'm toying with the idea of having the bonus dose next Monday and then going back to 7 days between once I start on the 5mg. More to keep the suppression up than for any other reason.

I also jabbed a day early with my 4th dose today, but we're on holiday so I can't weigh! super frustrating. To be honest I feel like it hasn't been working quite as well the last week (and there have been quite a few holiday wines) but it will be interesting to see what's happened to my weight when we get back at the weekend...

Hi @pateandbrie - that's exactly what I thought and couldn't believe it when I stepped on the scales. I've had 3 meals out over the past few days so thought there is no way I'll have a loss.

Thinking about it now though my portions are definitely much much smaller and even though I've had a few drinks I've drunk much slower and less than normal and there have been no alcohol fuelled munchies or hangovers!

I'm still loving the loss of food noise!!

Just went out for tapas for lunch. I had a small bit of bread, a prawn, a few bits of chorizo and a meatball. I feel stuffed to the gills...

Halfway through week 4, still on holiday so can't weigh but definitely feel like my clothes are fitting differently. This morning I put on a jumper that I haven't worn since pre-MJ and it looks and feels BIG.

In case anyone is worried about how discreet Voy is... I haven't told anyone (not even DH) that I'm on it. I brought my pen on holiday in the case that Voy supplied and thought it was hidden away in my suitcase. Which it was until DH started rifling through looking for something. He held up my Voy case and said 'what's this?'

My heart nearly stopped (he definitely would NOT understand or approve) but I said 'it's vitamins' and he said 'oh ok' and out it back without opening it!! Phew 😂

I haven't told a soul in real life either - my second pen came today and I've put it in an empty coffee tin at the back of our overflow fridge, I tend to be the only person who uses that fridge so it should be safe from detection in there 🤞.

My plan for jab 5 is to use the bonus dose in my first pen - have bought some insulin syringes to do so on Monday!
