I took my first tablet yesterday and due to take my next lot tomorrow. I’m so scared, I’ve read so many posts and terrified myself into their being issues or it not working.
im 5 weeks. I’m a nurse so I feel like I’m very aware of the medical side and what can go wrong :(

Thanks @Jackster22 ive just inserted the four tablets…. Started bleeding just before putting them in, hoping it’s Not going to drag out too long x

Jackster22 · 18/06/2022 10:54

Sending love hugs and a hand hold, hopefully will be over by this evening 🥹

Pregnantandinshock · 18/06/2022 11:32

@Zozo22 Hope you’re doing OK, your experience sounds very much like mine. Keeping everything crossed that it goes smoothly for you 🤞🏻💐

Zozo22 · 18/06/2022 11:47

@Pregnantandinshock not much happening as yet, some very very mild cramps that are hardly noticeable, will keep you updated with any changes throughout the day….. how are you feeling today? X

Hi guys hope I can join...I've got a brown smear of blood on my pads for a couple of days when does this end? On top of that I've got the flu and feel absolutely awful...my belly and boobs are still swollen...I'm not sure when it will go....

Zozo22 · 18/06/2022 13:14

Hi @heartbroken22 of course you can join! When did you start treatment? I’ve just taken my last two tablets orally, I have started to bleed a little bit nothing major yet, only very mild cramping so far too x

Zozo22 · 18/06/2022 13:34

Hey guys I’ve had the last two tablets underneath my upper lip and gum for nearly 30 minutes and they haven’t seemed to have dissolved much at all…. Is this normal??

Jackster22 · 18/06/2022 14:42

Aww @heartbroken22 that sounds horrid, to get the flu on top of this hopefully you will start to feel better soon. @Zozo22 yes I put two in orally and they were loads left after 30 mins but my instructions said to swallow what was remaining with water; my mouth was sore though so had an ice pop. Hopefully the cramping won’t get too intense. Xx

brownbeauty80 · 18/06/2022 14:47

My mouth was very sore too after the first four pills... throat was feeling very delicate...
i didn't take the other 2 pills... 🙈🙈

Jackster22 · 18/06/2022 14:54

It’s awful isn’t it - imagine how bad it was with four

Zozo22 · 18/06/2022 15:06

Well just after my last post I had strong cramps for about 5 minutes felt a strange sensation so went to the toilet then out it came 🥺 sorry tmi but I’ve definitely passed the pregnancy…. Bleeding a fair bit now but no cramps at all, I’m hoping that’s the worst of it now 🤞🏻 X

Jackster22 · 18/06/2022 15:29

hopefully worse of it over now @Zozo22 I'm
worried cos still haven’t had many clots and not any big ones, still cramping today though so maybe it will happen. It’s all so worrying xx

Gkrr10 · 18/06/2022 16:16

My mouth was so sore after all the tablets too. I thought it was a sensitivity but obviously not! I took my tablets last day and was able to stop wearing a pad yesterday. There’s a very very tiny tinge of pink to my discharge still but barely noticeable

Zozo22 · 18/06/2022 16:27

@Jackster22 I’ve lost a few clots the size of a 50p piece and lots of smaller ones too, no cramps at all since passing the pregnancy around 3pm but still bleeding heavily…. My mouth is ridiculously sore after taking the tablets orally also….. I can only imagine how worried you are, some people don’t lose many clots at all….how many weeks were you? X

Jackster22 · 18/06/2022 16:38

im glad it’s going well apart from the sore mouth, I found ice pops helped. It so weird how everyone is different, I have had loads of cramping hardly any clots, I was 5 weeks 5 days when I took the first pill on Thursday. Xx

brownbeauty80 · 18/06/2022 16:47

I was also 5 weeks 5 days... first pill made me bleed after 28 hours.. the mouth pills made me cramp after 4 hours... bleeding started after another 2 hours.. first day I was lying down so not much bleeding but next day I became more upright and was walking lots so that definitely made me bleed more... now wearing waist trainer on loosest setting to help the blood release...
i haven't had that many clots and definitely not big ones...
we will get through this...
💪🏽

Zozo22 · 18/06/2022 16:51

Thanks @Jackster22 I might try an ice pop! It is crazy how different everyone’s experiences are…. Can you call anyone for advice on the lack of clots? Just for your peace of mind x

Pregnantandinshock · 18/06/2022 17:22

Hope everyone is doing OK. My bleeding stopped today, 8 days after taking the first pill. The only symptom I had was the sore boobs and they’re back to normal now so I’m hoping it’s a good sign that it’s worked as it should and everything is OK. Now the long 2 week wait to take the test BPAS sent me 😬 From reading your experiences with taking the tablets orally, I’m glad I did all mine vaginally 😳🫣

Jackster22 · 18/06/2022 17:23

Thank you @brownbeauty80 for the reassurance, i have been trying to move around the only time I couldn’t was when I had the the intense cramping For a couple of hours yesterday, I have been up and about most of today, maybe because we were early is the reason for little clotting 🤷🏻‍♀️. @Zozo22 i have read my treatment booklet and it says the amount people bleeds varies from person to person and not everyone will pass blood clots but for those that do should be no larger than a lemon. Also says you may see other tissue when passing the pregnancy but in most cases foetus can’t be seen without magnification so I guess it’s normal. I think because I have read so many stories of these clots and mega bleeding I thought my progression was wrong. Hope your still getting on ok. Xx

Jackster22 · 18/06/2022 17:44

@Pregnantandinshock hope the two week wait isn’t that bad, I suppose we just all have to trust the process. I went through BPAS too, so quick and so nice 😊

Gkrr10 · 18/06/2022 18:05

I was also 5 weeks and told I should have clots at least size of 10p. I hadn’t so I was given a second dose. Still unsure if they were big enough but we will see. I have images if anyone wants to see privately to compare and make them feel better maybe! X

@Jackster22 I had a bit of a rocky start with BPAS as my online request went missing so I had to call (then I had to wait 30 minutes for my call to be answered) but the call handler was lovely and she got me a telephone appointment 3 hours later. The midwife I spoke to was so compassionate and reassuring (I was so worried I would end up with somebody abrupt and unsympathetic), I would 100% recommend them to anyone else needing their services. Yes we do, that’s the hardest part I think. It all went so smoothly for me I am worrying now it wasn’t normal! 🫣😳 I have anxiety though (especially around health issues) so if I’m not worrying about anything I’d worry about that too! 🫣🙄😂

Jackster22 · 18/06/2022 19:00

@Gkrr10 so did you have an extra dose in addition to the first pill, 4 pills followed by 2 further pills - wow. I would be Interested if it’s ok. @Pregnantandinshock that is what I worried about if got someone unsympathetic which I did with the local hospital: where I work . They were fab with me though was on hold for over an hour with MSI who then contacted me for an appointment Thursday, wanted to see if I could be seen sooner so I contacted BPAS Monday online and they sent me an appointment Tuesday for the Wednesday spoke to a lovely lady Wednesday got my pack Thursday. The local hospital couldn’t get me in until next week and I wanted it over asap. I’m the same I worry about everything hence the manic reading of everyone’s experience 😂 I have just read my notes from the phone call and she said I could have heavy bleeding and clots and wouldn’t see anything visible so don’t worry as only tiny like a strawberry seed, grain of rice but to ring it had no bleeding within 24 hours of stage 3. When I got out of shower I did have some streaky tissue red and grey so that may have been it - sorry for the grossness xx
