Jacksmybaby · 26/05/2010 12:22

Me too!

Any more scans today? I know a couple of people have theirs tomorrow. I can't wait for Friday now!

Imagine how much more exciting this will be when we are announcing the actual births in a few months' time!!

Katy86 · 26/05/2010 12:36

wow so many girls lol. Hope my boy is going to have at least 1 boy to play with in the playground lol. jacksmybaby I already have a DD nearly 4 years old and i told her the sex of this baby as she desperately wanted a sister and i thought it better she know now than be dissapointed when the baby comes. She is so excited now and comes round the shops with me picking out lovely blue clothes and saying 'my brother will love this' she also loves the fact that he wont be nicking her toys lol

xx

just thought i'd pop by to say hello, haven't been on for ages. sorry. time sees to be flying by. hope everyone is feeling well today. i still have the odd sicky moment but have so much more energy so can deal with it better. so so excited to hear about everyone's scans. mine isn't until june 11. not planning on finding out the sex. we have one of each already but secretly i'd love another little girl. have a name in mind which i really want to use but i know this will be our last. x

hopingforanother · 26/05/2010 14:43

Hi

I'm due on 3rd Oct. Already have a DD (3.5) and found out on Friday I'm having a BOY!!

We told DD we were going to find out and then told her the outcome. She had said she wanted a sister and had already picked a name which she was shamelessly promoting but seemed very pleased with the news of a brother! We didn't find out the first time but felt it would be good to personalise things a bit for DD as it's a long time to wait while your mum is preg!

I felt compelled to post to reassure everyone that there will be some boys born in 2010!!!!!

EleanorD · 26/05/2010 16:46

Oh yay! I didn't know there was a specific forum. I'm due on 9 October (although secretly hoping for 10th!).

This is my first and I've not found out if it's a boy/girl (although def feeling boy vibes!). I had my 20 week scan yesterday and all seemed fine which is a big relief. Loving not feeling sick anymore!

Hevster · 26/05/2010 18:35

Welcome EleanorD same due date as me and welcome hopingforanother reality of another girl has sunk in now and have spent the day sorting through all DD's old clothes, Makes it very real. Good luck with the scan on Fri Jacks and any others that have them this week

RooBear · 26/05/2010 18:51

ellabella2 · 26/05/2010 19:07

I have also started to feel Buba moving in the last week or so. YAY. DP also felt the movments for th first time last night which was really magical.

[waves to Eleanor and Hevster] another mummy due 9th october here

AbFabT · 26/05/2010 20:25

Hello, Everyone

I'm due in October but post on the other October thread - am really hoping we can all merge when our respective threads run out od space so we are one big group!

In the meantime, we've started a stats list so if you would like to add yourself, that would be great!

It's here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/972435-10-10-Pumpkins-All-New-Stats-May-2010

Hope you are all doing well, and that the scans are good.

RooBear · 27/05/2010 08:58

hi ab

babybunting2010 · 27/05/2010 09:48

Waves to Eleanor and Hoping!!!!

Am sooooo excited bout our little girl, think we are going for Felicity Ann Bunting as her full name.... does anyone think it's mean to use this as the initials will be FAB or is this ok? Don't want her to hate me in later life for chosing these initials!

I have no motivation to work today am too tired and bored, plus woke up think it was Friday.... very disappointed now!

"Look at this page" I saw it yesterday and HAD to buy it!!!!! It's soooo cute!!!! (Hope the link worked!!!)

AbFab I am also on the other link but can't keep up so tend to just stick with this one! But still come and say hey when I have time to catch up!

x

babybunting2010 · 27/05/2010 09:49

Should we start another list to see how many girls/boys/unknowns we have and when they are due???

BabyB - 10.10.10- Girl

PatsyIsPreggers · 27/05/2010 10:12

List is a good idea BabyB. If you follow the link in AbFab's post above it takes you to the stats list for the other October thread which we've all been updating for boy/girl/surprise. Would be lovely if we could all join togehter in one harmonious group as AbFab suggests!

Hevster · 27/05/2010 11:36

morning ladies, have to say the other thread moves way too fast for me to keep up with!
BabyB that is a really cute outfit - I have already been banned from buying anything by DH as we should already have all we need from DD - how harsh is that???
Love the name and think the initials FAB are quite cool. We haven't come up with any names yet but DD wants to call her Molly.

Back to feeling rubbish today so waiting for Doc to ring me as can't get appointment till next Thurs!

babybunting2010 · 27/05/2010 13:54

Hevster I LOVE THE NAME MOLLY and Millie and Masie but DH is quite stubborn when he wants to be! V harsh of DH tell him DD wants to go out shopping to by her new sister something.... he surely couldn't say no!!! (I am going to hell for that suggestion aren't I)

Sorry Patsy and AbFab, tried to keep up with the other thread and just can't do it am a bit slow sometimes. Might have to stick with this slower paced one and just pop by the other one to say hey, hope you understand! (really hope I haven't sounded rude!) Will find the link for the list though.

Can't stop thinking about all those that had to bow out of the threads due to the unmentionable happening. I wonder how they are all getting on. My SIL fell preggers at the same time as me (Although she had been trying for 10 years and I had only been trying 6 months) But she lost it just before she was 5 weeks! But she is now 8 weeks again so I have everything crossed for her!

Hope they all know we are wishing them luck and sending fertile thoughts their way!

xxx

Hevster · 27/05/2010 14:29

BabyB ah ha a cunning plan, will take DD shopping as soon as possible, will call it helping her to adjust!!!! Hope your SIL is doing ok and this one sticks for her.

Saartjie · 27/05/2010 15:54

Oh a thred for October due dates, fantastic. My due date is the 26th October. It's my first but I am already showing a lot and have felt a few flutters. Have second scan booked for the 9th June when we hope to find out if its a boy or a girl. Hope everyone is feeling ok.

Hevster · 27/05/2010 16:06

welcome Saartjie good to have you join us

Jacksmybaby · 27/05/2010 16:11

Hey everyone and welcome saartjie, EleanorD and hopingforanother.

Love the name Molly Hevster. It would be up there on my girl's names list but DH thinks it's "not a proper name". Felicity is nice too babyb, and FAB is a great set of initials.

Our name thoughts so far are:
George for a boy.
Eleanor (Ellie) or Isabelle for a girl.

Is the sickness bad again Hevster?

Jacksmybaby · 27/05/2010 16:36

p.s.

just realised I am 20 weeks today and that is HALF WAY!!!!! Woo hooooo!!

KFW · 27/05/2010 19:16

hello all. welcome Saartjie and others. I have my scan on 9 June too, Saartjie, so we can both be willing that day on together!

Re other posts: Hevster, I love the name molly too; and jacks: George is hubby's number 1 choice if we have a boy and I am a fan too.

Hope everyone is good. My bump seems to have grown a bit today. Feeling enormous and did NOT enjoy squishy tube journey home.

XX

Hevster · 27/05/2010 20:09

KFW thought of tube home makes me come out in a deep burst of sympathy for you!

Jacks not being sick but feel really sick (don't seem able to spell nauseaus today!) to the point where I have given up eating again, Doc said back on the cyclizine so now fuzzy headed again - tis no win but as you say at least we are half way - HURRAH!!!!!!

Don't think we can have Molly as my cousin called her DD Molly and one of my big chums has a Molly too so feels like copying - bummer as quite like it but am sure we will find others. Like Ellie and Isabelle (the latter was on our list last time) George is good - what my old dear would call a proper name!

cheekymonkeyno3 · 27/05/2010 21:21

hello all, so exciting to be thinking about names. we have joshua and emily already but current favorites are jack and lucy. don't know whether i want 2 JCs tho. we are planning on a surprise so we'll see. xx

Jacksmybaby · 27/05/2010 21:51

Jack is a great name cheekymonkey!! Although take your point re names with the same letter - we have pretty much ruled out Jon, James and Josh this time (all frontrunners last time) for that reason.

Hevster · 28/05/2010 07:04

Jacks hope all goes well today
