LOL yummy more of a wish list than a birth plan?! I should get some stuff written down... It's a good idea though I can see that it sometimes all has to out of the window....

Hevster · 25/08/2010 19:40

well ladies, I have started a thread on "the other side" a little early so we might find it way down the list but at least Saartjie will know where we are!

Talk Topics - Being a parent - Post Natal Clubs - October 2010 pregnancy thread welcome to the the other side....

Thats my contribution for the day - still have banging headache and am very grumpy - hope to be of a more sunny deposition tomorrow!

Jacksmybaby · 26/08/2010 09:25

Good work Hevster!

Here is a link to it.

So it makes sense if we just move over there as soon as this thread runs out, even though we won't technically belong in post-natal for a few more weeks!

Off on holiday to Norfolk for a week tomorrow, so need to make sure I know where you will all be when I get back!

Re hiccups, not felt any this time but do remember them from last time, v funny Smile.

YummyMummy1208 · 26/08/2010 10:23

Well im having a dreadful day and its only 10am.

Beginning to wish i hadnt come to work today as i feel like crap - can hardly walk without pains in my pelvis and have a horrible head. :(

Plus i snapped at DS thismorning after he woke up so happy just becos he tipped all my mints everywhere when i told him not to. then i ended up crying on the way to work cos i felt guilty about snapping at him! Blush

Cheer me up please! Grin

Jenko77 · 26/08/2010 10:32

Have a good holiday Jacks - hope the weather improves for you.

Oh dear, poor Yummy Sad

I think you should go home sick and bake something nice and yummy for you and DS to make you both feel better!

It's not the weather to be miserable and at work when you're pregnant! You should be tucked up at home on the sofa in my opinion. Is this an option?

Fortunately, I'm in a (rare) good mood today - which may or may not be something to do with the fact I have a box of Mr Kiplings Bakewell Tarts to keep me company today!!

Jacksmybaby · 26/08/2010 10:48

Poor u Yummy, agree you should eat something nice to cheer you up even if you can't get away from work, I do find a mint aero often does the trick! And try not to feel guilty re snapping, your DS will still adore his mummy Smile.

Hevster · 26/08/2010 11:11

Ah yummy that was me yesterday, feel better today though - go home, have a good kip and all will be well tomorrow (specially as tis Friday)

Jacks have a great holiday and good plan to move over when this thread is full

Oh my goodness, less than a week until September.... it's all getting a wee bit close when you can say "it's due next month"!!!!

YummyMummy1208 · 26/08/2010 12:00

Thank you ladies. I feel a little better now, my staff think iv been running to the toilet to be sick - when i ran off to control my emotions! Blush If i tell them im upset i would only end up bursting into uncontrolable tears again! But iv ordered chips and gravy for dinner so im looking forward to that now! :)

Hope u have a good holiday Jacks, im jealous, i want a holiday too! Grin
Bring us all back some rock eh!

YummyMummy1208 · 26/08/2010 12:02

i know what u mean hevster it was 2 months yesterday for me my due date. sounds like ages tho when you say it in months! i much prefer 8 weeks!

RooBear · 26/08/2010 13:05

have a good holiday jacks we went to Norfolk a few weeks back, I love it there.

Hope your move is going well saartjie

You have my sympathies yummy I feel very nauseaus at the mo, have to eat something practically every hour!

Can't wait 'till sept hevester!

Jenko77 · 26/08/2010 14:54

I was just sitting here thinking, I'm really envious of those of you having an ELCS. Don't get me wrong, I don't want a CS, but I would love to know the date that LO will arrive. Envy

I can't believe that for something this lifechanging, all I know is that it will happen within the next 9-ish weeks (I'm 33 weeks today), but realistically it will happen somewhere between 5 and 9 weeks time.

Anyone else find this whole not knowing and waiting thing a bit frustrating?!? How do people do this more than once? I'm loving pregnancy, but man, this not knowing thing is getting to me....

Control freak? Moi? Hmm

RooBear · 26/08/2010 15:10

oh jenko I'm soooo with you! I'm 32wks on sat and knowing I have upto 10wks to go is doing my head in!

Hevster · 26/08/2010 15:24

Roo and Jenko remember those feelings very well from last time!

Started trying to pack hospital bag today - my brain is struggling big style and I have to keep reminding myself that I can always send DH home for stuff I need.

YummyMummy1208 · 26/08/2010 15:42

dont say 10 weeks RooBear, lets say anytime from 5 weeks time baby could arrive...sounds so much more encouraging! Grin

Im 32 weeks on Monday.

Jacksmybaby · 26/08/2010 15:54

Does anyone know if a thread gets automatically deleted once it reaches the 1,000 post limit? In which case we should make sure we stop before we reach the limit so that Saartjie and any others who haven't been around in the last couple of days know where we've gone.

Hevster · 26/08/2010 16:43

I guess it probably does otherwise they would have huge server issues with storage - will move to the other thread - Jacks your brain is working better than mine considering I used to be a computer programmer!

Jacksmybaby · 26/08/2010 16:55

Right let's go then!

Everyone we have moved here.

See you over there!
