Hello and good morning xx

Welcome PaulaYatesBiggestFan I to was thinking my time was nearly over, plus the fact I was having tests an been referred to gynecologist as had very high hormone levels, was convinced was startin the change, and here I am, 6/7 weeks pregnant.

I had the weirdest thing last night, I was woken up about 3am with almighty pain in my ankle, when I checked it my right ankle was quite swollen, just under the round pointy out bone bit on outside of ankle, it still hurst like mad and still swollen.

What's that all about??... and how on earth did I injure myself whilst asleep, My DP said I hadn't kicked him so it wasn't that lol

any ideas????

I am so weird sometimes lol

have a great day all xxXxx

Wonderwitch · 05/05/2009 09:17

Morning all, and welcome paulayatesbiggestfan. As others have advised, start getting in plenty of practice now (and try not to get too bogged down in doing it only at the Right Time, at least at first - it can put so much pressure on you and your OH, when in all likelihood just Doing It as much as you can manage is the best thing to try for starters. I'm 42 and like Tee around 7.5 months pg, so am at the thought of lots of unfettered howsyerfather .

JW My DH works in theatre so I get resentful when I have to pay for a ticket. Some things blow me away and stay with me but lots are mundane, so I sympathise with your DH because you have to go quite a lot or get a good recommendation to find the amazing stuff. Halle sounds good too - they did a project with my DD's school ending in a concert - so she can say she played with the Halle aged 10. . Hope you get to celebrate your anniversary - one or two of your older DC could look after their little sis couldn't they?

mrsb that car is gorgeous! And a bargain!
There was always that urban myth that if your waters broke in M&S they'd send you home without charging for your shopping so I hope the prone person in M&S got their groceries for free.

JJ step away from the Toblerone! Your FIL sounds great for many reaons, not least for supplying you with meat and chocolate. My PILs never do a roast or cook any meat bigger than a chop, and just bring the odd box of own-label crap from Aldi.

JW I had a thing about John Le M too! It was all mixed up in my head with the voice of Bagheera from Disney's Jungle Book . And I loved Anthony Andrews. Didn't mind Jeremy Irons either. Oh dear, everything's going to be jumbled around with my ongoing teenage vampire fantasies . 6 weeks till D-Day and I get my libido back but look and move like a hippo. Let's hope DH will take whatever crumbs of comfort he's offered after all these months of inaction...

jw have a great time at JL....can't persuade the girls that it's 'fun' there and I really fancy a peruse around! Good on you with the dresses....hell, get in those smaller sizes,,,,you deserve it!

wonderwitch no idea what's going on with your ankle...unless it's trying out the third trimester for a bit of practise!!!

ermintrude I wish my libido would come back - I've found BF has well and truely killed it off!! Can't wait to reclaim my norks I have started doing an after-nap half bottle of formula - which Verity LOVES! So, I'm slowing down

Oh Anthony Andrews...hell yes, I SO fancied him when I was younger. I was also a Doyle (Professionals) girls...I think it was the Keegan'esque' curls....and I still wouldn't kick him out of bed

Oh my FIL is strange ..... no, really strange. He just brings SO, SO much chocolate into the house. He's a type 2 diabetic - in danger of losing his foot and HUGE. He genuinely eats nothing but chocolate...and my DP was a VERY big child because of his dad giving him lashings of the stuff. He ingnores all dietry advice. He shouts at me to give the girls chocolate and we just have to say no....but every time he comes there is more of the stuff I think it was ladymac's FIL that supplied the meat - I think he was a butcher.....now that would be handy!

I wonder how ladymac is?

Oh and I was thinking about neddie too - hope all is ok there too x

hedgepig · 05/05/2009 11:06
