fozzie fantastic news on your scan, itmust feel like a huge relief. Its the scariest rollercoaster ride we are ever going to go on.
only a few days till yours vm

Fozzie78 · 07/01/2009 18:31

You're right it is a rollercoaster ride, I feel our lives are constantly on hold, I feel like I dare not do anything as ive been told to rest as much as possible.

I will definitely be counting down the days, its gonna be a long 2 weeks.

Whens your scan villagemum?

VillageMum · 07/01/2009 18:50

Fozzie, my scan is this Saturday and I'll be 7+2. I'm hoping to see the heartbeat - my last pg ended in a missed mc; I discovered when I thought I was 10 weeks that the baby hadn't developed past about 6 weeks. So if I can see a heart this time I'll be slightly reassured!

mermaid, hope you're feeling OK and hanging in there!

Fozzie78 · 07/01/2009 18:57

Ah not long now then, will be thinking of you and I hope you get a great result you deserve it xx

hamish12 · 07/01/2009 20:09

Fozzie I'm delighted for you - I'd been thinking about you all day!! Great news, and at least your midwives were reassuring. I begged for an earlier scan as I've had brown staining since Sat and they told me they couldn't see me as they were full!!! Hello? Crossing everything for tomorrow x

Fozzie78 · 07/01/2009 20:49

Will be thinking of you tomorrow and wishing you good news let me know how you get on xxxx

winemakesmummyclever · 07/01/2009 21:27

Hi folks, just a quick peep in to see you are all getting along alright.

Hi to all the new ladies - there seems to be so many of you over the last week or so. Hope that you are all ok and good luck to those of you who have got scans coming up. Try to stay positive, get as much rest as you can bear and take one day at a time. Chocolate also helps to keep you sane (well, that's my excuse anyway ).

33 weeks now and have cmw appt tomorrow. Don't think it will bring any new developments. Have hospital appt on 28th - will find out date for cs then. Cannot believe there should be a lo here in six weeks or so - I'm not ready (although physically am sooo ready and knackered iyswim)and I am 4th on the conceived air passenger list! Aaaarghh!!

Still have tonnes of work to do, so am sticking to my once a week lurk in order to get it all out of the way before the lo arrives.

Have a good week everyone - fingers crossed for you all

dan39 · 07/01/2009 22:55

swot

franfoxy2003 · 07/01/2009 23:05

im confused, did a test with the conception thing on and its said 3+ which converts to 5 weeks plus but my last period was dec 5th so surely the conception indicator cant be right!!!

cornflakegirl · 08/01/2009 09:36

If you ovulated slightly before day 14 of your cycle, that would work. Or the test could be wrong.

valz · 08/01/2009 10:58

hi ladies

back to this morning sickness thing, half times i dunno if im sick or hungry, is that common to feel so hungry. im eating smaller amounts more often so when im sick very little comes up because theres so little in my stomach then i feel starving. i cant bring myself to eat meat except for a bit of ham and my taste for veg is gone too, all i seem to eat is cereals, bread, fruit and biscuits. now id have thought all those carbs would be keeping me full, but most times im hungry and i think this make me feel sick. anyone experienced this?

mermaidspurse · 08/01/2009 11:27

morning ladies yeay I feel sickmad to be so over the moon about feeling so awful!
valz I know exactly what you mean, hunger pangs and sickness all merges into one. I cant stand the thought of anything sweet.
hamish too busy to give you a scan? thats dreadful.
fozzie lots of rest sounds good but its not easy when life keeps getting in the way, mind you it is cold enough to hibernate.

VillageMum · 08/01/2009 13:28

valz and mermaid, yep, ravenous hunger and nausea all rolled into one is how it is for me too!
fozzie thanks, will report back on here...
hamish, hope you're doing OK.

valz · 08/01/2009 14:20

oh good so im not alone on that one mermaid and villagemum...sorry to be relieved at your sickness

VJay · 08/01/2009 16:02

Fozzie78 · 08/01/2009 17:02

im off home now soon, c ya all tomorrow ladies

hamish12 · 08/01/2009 18:58

hello all, well still spotting but saw little flicker of heartbeat today with lovely lovely midwife who seemed as thrilled as I was.
vjay mw also told me that some ladies spot through the whole nine months and it's just one of those things. Dosen't stop me being a compulsive knicker checker, but thought it might be some comfort to you x
