MamaG · 28/10/2008 09:46

My BACK, MamaG! That's the worst bit just now.

Oh, and piles from HELL, heartburn, walking like a 90-year-old, etc.

MamaG · 28/10/2008 09:51

I feel fine this morning

For what it's worth I think that one baby with be bron on Sunday and one on Tuesday, but I'm not telling you which of you is first.

Flum · 28/10/2008 09:54

There is always Castor Oil..........

Truly I am a bit bored but would rather (try) and enjoy the peace for a bit.

If I can hold out til the weekend will get to go and see the new Bond film too!

expatinscotland · 28/10/2008 09:56

'There is always Castor Oil..........'

Labour together with terrible piles and diarrhoea.

Nah.

I'd rather be induced.

MamaG · 28/10/2008 10:51

I have to say, going to see MW tomorrow and if she said to me that they will induce me the next day, I'll be down the hospital like a shot.

I really don't mind being induced again, doesn't bother me in the slightest!

May go for a bounce on birthing ball in a min.

oh bless you two.

i still have 3 weeks left. will not race you to the finish.

i told baby not to come out yesterday and to stay put as i was taking dd's to see HSM3. she obeyed me. then started right at the end of the film giving me massive kicks and a few niggles. little moo lol.

scorpio1 · 28/10/2008 10:54

oooh Mamag you're still here then??

MamaG · 28/10/2008 10:56

misdee I have a feeling in my bones that you'll beat the pair of us

I'm dying to see HSM3 but DH won't let me go

Went to see something when I was this pg with DD (9 years ago!) and the noise was so loud that she squirmed, kicked and seemed really agitated so I left cinema! pfb, but DH has never let me live it down.

scorpio you little pest!!

Go MamaG

My symptoms have stepped up a gear too, was woken four tomes last night but walking staved the pains off and having BHs this morning when they haven't been starting till mid afternoon up till now.

And......head is now fully engaged (went with a clunk yesterday afternoon when I sat down; I could feel my symphisis pubis joint pull out and go back in again )

I'll try and keep him in there a bit longer though; don't want to be accused of queue jumping as I'm not due until the 6th

ladytophamhatt · 28/10/2008 11:05

I'll te;l you my labour/bith tip.

Eat grapes.

Pounds and pounds of them.

It worked for ds3 and ds4....possibly even ds2 but my memory doesn't go back that far.

It also worked for my RL friend and a few MNers I mentioned it too.

It'll back you spend most of the labour on the loo but at least theres no mess to clear up then.

Try it.

It has to be LOADS though. I think I ate a whole 2-3lb bag!!

MamaG · 28/10/2008 11:06

Oh-ho, another one who's trying to sneak in before expat and I, despite her protestations to the contrary! No, you go ahead, we'll just wait [martyr]

OP posts:
MamaG · 28/10/2008 11:07

oops that was to daisy

LTH I've already had a near miss on the loo this morning [tmi] and am looking after 2 DC - think I'd better try that one on Monday when they're back at school! Love grapes though mmmmm

LackaDAISYcal · 28/10/2008 11:08

is that just to do with the laxative effect of fruit? I read somewhere that it;s the same nerve cluster that connects bowel movements and cervical stuff, which is why diahorrea and early labour go hand in hand.

LackaDAISYcal · 28/10/2008 11:10

mamaG; it's sods law that it'll happen this week when the kids are off school. My PILs (and first choice children looker afterers) have kindly gone on holiday this week.

That's my idea of tempting fate

ToThrottleABlackBird · 28/10/2008 11:24

GOOD

LackaDAISYcal · 28/10/2008 11:26
ToThrottleABlackBird · 28/10/2008 11:33

Well........wobbles away

ToThrottleABlackBird · 28/10/2008 12:27

Are you both in labour yet?

MamaG · 28/10/2008 12:46

Blackbird you have my permission to go into labour first

Go on, get on with it!

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 28/10/2008 12:47

i will go into labour before you!

ladytophamhatt · 28/10/2008 12:47

I have no idea Daisy, it deffo worked though.
