OOh Dan - that is more than annoying. You poor thing. BTW - do you know something we don't - we haven't found out the sex but will be interesting if it is a boy - I shall think you are psychic .

Great news Vickyjane !

aquababe · 15/10/2008 18:32

ouch at the passports dan.......we lost ours and then found them in a wallet type folder that we'd had with us last time we were on holiday.....think what bag you had last time you travelled; could it be lurking in there? have you had them out for any reason recently? Proof of ID

dd is rocking to 'sweet child o mine'

LackaDAISYcal · 15/10/2008 22:48

bless her snoop

DD loves a wee boogie as well. she plucks away at DSs guitar as well; I'm trying to encourage a bit of musicality so I can live my life as a wannabe, but talentless, muso vicariously through her

SnoopDog · 15/10/2008 22:57

lol daisy,

you know i have tried latin jazz, neil young, daft punk and beth orton tonight,

the only one i got a smile from was guns n roses,

bless her...

how funny

LackaDAISYcal · 15/10/2008 23:07

DD loves the Joe Wylie Live Lounge albums.....especially Maximo Park's version of 500 miles and whichever woman singer (Natasha Bedingfield?) does a cover of Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars...she tries to sing along to that one and just wails instead; tis very funny.

SnoopDog · 15/10/2008 23:51

SnoopDog · 15/10/2008 23:52

LoobyLou36 · 16/10/2008 07:31

I feel really sick, can't work out if it's ms or nerves due to my scan this morning. Appointment at 10.20.

LoobyLou36 · 16/10/2008 08:15

God I am such a basket case - so pathetic. Worrying to death about this can when I'm sat at work typing out an order of service for the funeral of a women who was only 35 and leaves behind a 7 year old and husband. I just want to cry.

Wheelybug · 16/10/2008 08:17

Good luck Looby !

Where's Ronny with news of Pops ?? EH ?? Anyone would think she had lots of other things to do . Won't be able to get on until late this pm probably so will have to live my day in suspense .

LoobyLou36 · 16/10/2008 08:32

Thanks Wheelybug

winemakesmummyclever · 16/10/2008 08:43

vickyjane - good news about the scan. Hope you are feeling a wee bit more positive today.

dan - you muppet, bet you are gutted. Have you found it yet? Any chance of getting away more locally?

looby - good luck with the scan today. If you feel you want to cry, then do so. Bottling things up just makes things worse imo. It is a physical manifestation of the stress you are feeling right now and you need to release it.

daisy & snoop - love the editors cover of the cure's "lullaby" on live lounge cd. Ds's little face used to light up at the opening bars of "chasing cars" and he'd groove away.

aquababe - hope the cold is getting better. Paracetamol, fluids, rest whenever you get the chance (yeah, right )

wheely - wow, am exhausted just reading your exercise regime!

ronshar - glad to see you and your little man are getting along just fine.

Good luck to popsy - hope minipops got here safe and sound.

Wheelybug · 16/10/2008 08:49

Looby - I x-posted with you. Then my computer did something odd and shiut down.

Thats tragic about the order of service but don't feel guilty about feeling worried/scared for yourself. You're entitled to.

Hi WMMC - the exercise regime will probably only last a week . Although am determined to get myself in the best position possible for a VBAC and reckoned being fit would help.

LoobyLou36 · 16/10/2008 09:11

Thanks Wheely and WMMC. Not long to go now...will let you know how I get on.

TMD · 16/10/2008 10:23

Ladeeze it's bad news I'm afraid. I did four tests just willing them to be wrong but all -ve. I am feeling like world has swallowed me up but I know it happened for reason it's just natures way, but it still doesn't feel right, why me again!

gotta go can't see keys for tears...

LackaDAISYcal · 16/10/2008 12:38

TMD. I'm so so sorry

OP posts:
LoobyLou36 · 16/10/2008 13:17

Hi All. I am back from the scan and all is well!! Baby was swimming around shaking arms and legs. It turns out I'm a little further on that first thought 11+4. Due date 3rd May.

dan39 · 16/10/2008 13:36

TMD I am so sorry for you...look after yourself and do what you need to to get support. Is this conclusive then do you think, have you an appt booked with anyone to double check? Poor you - sending hugs (we need a hug emoticon)

Looby Fabtastic news for you - that will keep you calm for a day or two - but a good scan at your stage is a brilliant scan!! Well done!! Can't remember is this your first?

Wheely I must be mixing you up with someone else...who said they had a scan and its another boy then???

I am feeling a bit better about my abandoned holiday. We went to the pub last night and I had a whole pint of Guinness!!! and we had pizza and watched a film, and dh was very nice and pointed out all the good things about being at home - we stayed in bed til 12 today and we did say had we been away we would have felt obliged to go out sightseeing early! No chance of a replacement trip as we lost so much money on this one but we might eat out on Sat or something instead.

dan39 · 16/10/2008 13:38

It was wmmc not wheely but I got the letter right!!

HairyToe · 16/10/2008 13:46

So sorry TMD I really feel for you. I had a very early miscarriage earlier this year (literally started bleeding 3 days after my BFP) and I so remember the disappointment. Straight afterwards I got pregnant again and had a mmc discovered at 12 weeks. I'm now in the early stages of my third pregnancy this year and almost in denial. I keep thinking if this one doesn't work out I think I'll probably not try again - It's all too hard and too sad.

TTC in the first place is such an emotional strain, then things like this really take it out of you. I've followed your story here and all I can say again is I'm really sorry this pregnancy didn't work out for you. Hope you manage to feel a bit better soon.

LoobyLou36 · 16/10/2008 13:53

Dan39 Thanks. Yes it's my first. Sorry about your holiday. Thinking of changing my name to BoobyLou that's what one of my friends is calling me due to tighter tops, lol.

daisy5 · 16/10/2008 14:10

HairyToe - me too - chem preg last Nov - mmc in June at 12 weeks and now pregnant. For my sanity I can't try again if this doesn't work out. It's been a year of either TTC, being pregnant, or recovering from it all coming to an end. I'm just exhausted and so emotional. I am glued to MumsNet and think I will be until next Wed when I get my scan. But symptoms are weak - so I don't feel positive. I couldn't feel positive after the last year anyway. I wonder if a little angel will come my way?
