Excellent news aitch, and it sounds like a good plan from the hospital.

I assume you've found this page by now (about breastfeeding from the Bliss website).

It seems to be mainly about how to express, but you're already an Olympic-grade expresser so I think it'll be a bit "teach your grandmother" tbh.

Fingers crossed, and soothing builders-suddenly-and-unaccountably-struck-by-lightning vibes winging their way over.

Slubberdegullion · 28/08/2008 20:24

More thoughts and love being sent to you all.

Glad to hear you are home for the moment.

Take care

Bumperlicious · 28/08/2008 20:27

Aitch, what a lot for you to think about! Still at least the LO has another week in her snug little cocoon

Forget about the builders and everything else. Fuck the neighbours, they will have to deal with it.

Good luck this week, take care and hope DD1 is doing ok.

Tutter · 28/08/2008 20:27

everythign crossed for you here of course xxx

WilfSell · 28/08/2008 20:35

Oh man, what a scary time. Wishing you and all your LOs well and thinking of your little h and hoping he/she can hold off a touch longer...

Anything MN can do?

MrsJohnCusack · 28/08/2008 20:48

Can I reiterate 'fuck the neighbours'? seriously, sod 'em

glad little H is still in situ and good luck matey, sorry I am not close enough to be of any practical use whatsover, lots of love though

welliemum · 28/08/2008 21:11

PS you have mail

FrannyandZooey · 28/08/2008 21:32

Aitch hope you can stay at home a few more days
grow little baby, grow

S1ur · 28/08/2008 21:40

Aitch, how fab you at home!

Now c'mon little baby grow like a thread about sahm and wohms only without the vitriol and conviction.

Thinking of you mate.

weeonion · 28/08/2008 22:52

aitch. just read this thread and want to say congrats on yr pg! so glad you are home and you have to take it easy.

as you know - i was at PR. it is literally 10 mins walk from my house so around practicalities worries- just holler! i have an electric medala pump here you can have if needed. i know the bf unit has moved from queen mums- i have linda's mobile as we are in contact over other stuff and i'll see what i can find out tomorrow but i know that the pr now has it's own bf specialist (linda highly recommends her) so i think things may have changed there in the last year in terms of support.

will check in tomorrow to see how you are.

Glad you're home, Aitch. And sod the neighbours.

Buda · 29/08/2008 06:38

Another 'glad you are home' from Budapest!

Hope all goes well at your check this morning and you at least have the weekend at home to plan and get your head around stuff.

whoops · 29/08/2008 07:49

Glad you are home for now Aitch,
Have just caught up with this thread - like you my dh doesn't drive & I had a section . when we had ds we were in a hospital that would be difficult to get to by public transport, luckily we fought to get moved to a more local hospital (with a bigger NICU) but was still difficult to get to but was easier for people to give us lifts which we had many offers for so don't worry about that I'm sure lots of people will want to help out.
Baby is obviously ok inside you at the mo as I had a scan which shown ds not growing one day then had him the next day
