Found out recently I’m pregnant with baby number 3 😍. I’ve worked out my due date as early May 2027. Anyone else? It would be nice to have a support thread going. They’ll be quite a big gap between my two kids and baby, I feel like I’ve forgotten everything 🤦🏼‍♀️

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Me! I’m due 4th May with number 4.

My other 3 are 15,10 and 4 so I know what you mean about everything changing, feel I have to learn it all over again every time! How old are your two?

Have you got booked in with a midwife yet? I have a scan at on the 8th September as I had a loss at 10 weeks in May.

Molly2008 · 28/08/2026 12:10

Me 🙋🏽‍♀️ my older 2 are 17 & 13 and I am in shock. I’m sure everything has changed. I haven’t booked in or anything yet will get on it Monday.

Congratulations ♥️. Oh we are so close with our due dates. I’ve worked out mine to be the 02nd May. Mine are 9 and 6, feels like a huge age gap, but I’m also thinking more about the pro’s.

Sorry to hear about your loss my luv. I’ve got an appointment booked on the 22nd Sep. Just says ‘midwife’ new. It seems appointments and maternity notes may all be an app now? Will be very glad not to have to carry around that bloody folder lol

Congratulations luv ♥️. I know right?! I feel like I have to research all the up to date recommendations for pregnancy. Some advice changed in-between my first and second. Can’t imagine what it’s like now lol. I honestly had to google ‘I’m pregnant, what now?’ 😂. I couldn’t remember how I even referred myself previously lol

Yes it’s all on an app now, I didn’t have to self refer with my youngest so it’s all change before we even really get started!

My booking appointment is on the 23 Sep but I’m just focusing on getting to my scan atm. Last time development stopped round 5 weeks just didn’t know until the bleeding started round week 10 so I feel if everything looks good at 6 weeks I will be able to relax a little and get excited

Goodness, I’m so sorry luv. I hope this little group can be a space to offer some support, especially in the run up to your reassurance scan.

Phew! Good to know it’s paperless now. I was forever running around before my appointments, trying to find that folder xx

Yes after trying for three years for our first. Due May 6th, still early and don't quite believe it.
Want to be happy about it but still nervous something will go wrong so calling it the 'May-be' (May baby) for now and taking the first few weeks as they come.

New at this, called the GP they were like yeah we don't do that 😅 I think I've self referred now but haven't heard back yet.

Love the name, the ‘May-be’ and congratulations my luv. I get you, we’ve been trying for a few years too, so a lot of disappointing months and anticipation for a positive test.

It’s strange isn’t it, because some advice online still suggests getting in touch with your GP. I think I heard back within the week after I self referred, but it probably varies depending on location xx

My date at the moment is 30th April but my first two were 9 days overdue so think it'll be May baby. Also joining the thread as the April group seems so far ahead! I received my booking appointment for 23rd Sept but will get an early reassurance scan at 7-8weeks. Trying to hold off until then as worried too early and I wont see anything.

Welcome to the group @Biyobio and congratulations! Completely get that, I’ll be very surprised if I’m early or on time as was overdue with first and had to get induced with my second.

Good idea with waiting til you’re 7-8 weeks. Will you go privately for the reassurance scan or is it something that’s offered? Again, completely out of touch with how things go now. I booked in with window to the womb with both, but I think I was around 24 weeks for the 3D scan x

Anyone had any early symptoms btw? I’ve been feeling mildly nauseous and I got up to pee about 3 times last night. Surprisingly feeling quite energetic x

I'm going private and have had it done with my previous. Just helps with making it feel real and reduces the big waits in between where nothing is happening. I tend to do the 3D scan as well - just love seeing the little one!

I get low energy as soon as it hits the afternoon but the nausea is knocking me. Only thing that seems to help is sour sweets.

So true, you’re right, it doesn’t feel real atm. Oh I love the 3D scan too 🥹. I feel I have to get the teddy with their heartbeat as I’ve done it with the other two lol x

Congratulations to everyone new!

My 6 week scan is being done by EPU but if that is the only one they offer me I’ll book one for about 9 weeks privately so I’m not waiting to the 12 weeks. We usually just do a private one at 15/16 weeks to find out the gender because I’m so impatient!

I envy you being energetic, I’m like a sloth atm. I’ve had a few bouts of nausea but not lasting long.

WildflowerMama · 29/08/2026 19:36

Could I join?! Due 5th May with my 4th baby. Currently have a 4, 6 and 8 year old. I have an early scan at 6 weeks (currently 4+3) and it feels soooo long away.

Edited

I fear the energy won’t last long 🙈. If I remember correctly, at about 6 weeks, I need regular naps throughout the day lol. I’ve been so hungry though, don’t know if I’m just indulging abit more than usual and using pregnancy as an excuse.

Hi! Due 2nd May, BFP yesterday and this is my first. Tired, boobs hurt constantly, and I keep getting hot flushes that last for a minute or two, but no nausea yet…

NEMamato5 · 30/08/2026 09:28

Hi all,
congratulations on your pregnancies, I believe I’m due on the 1st or 2nd of may with my 7th baby 🤭 my first 5 are all older and my baby just turned one.

Lookingforhope26 · 30/08/2026 09:35

I’m due 7th May - been ttc since mmc in January so was shocked when I got a positive test on Wednesday as wasn’t expecting it. I have one daughter aged 4. Really scared of another miscarriage, praying for a healthy pregnancy and baby.

congratulations to everyone! X

Goingtobeafirsttimemum · 30/08/2026 14:46

I got my positive yesterday I’m due 15th May 2027 I’ll be a first time mum at 37.

MummaAgain2026 · 30/08/2026 16:44

Congratulations @LurkleDurkle @NEMamato5 @Lookingforhope26 & @Goingtobeafirsttimemum. Glad we have this space to share our experiences, both past and present. I’ve just been updating my knowledge on what’s safe/not advised to eat during pregnancy. Completely forgot about cured meats 🥺. I will miss my weekly pack of salami.

Congratulations to everyone joining!

@MummaAgain2026 im not sure if i should be avoiding eggs and chicken given the salmonella situation, the rational part of me thinks stick to British eggs and it will be fine but the other part of me is worried after my loss in May.

OnePoisedHazelPombear · 30/08/2026 18:29

Second baby due 7th May 2027 but I expect it will actually be dated later as I know I definitely ovulated late and didn’t get a positive until 2 days after my missed period! Anyone else who already has one who feels nervous this time round for some reason? I think mum guilt for my first is already setting in!
