February 2027 Rainbow Babies 🌈 Pregnancy After Loss

Hi everyone 🤍

I wanted to start a little thread for anyone due around February 2027 with a rainbow baby 🍼

I've recently found out I'm pregnant again, very early, so everything feels quite delicate at the moment. I'm happy, but also incredibly anxious after experiencing a missed miscarriage and a miscarriage, both this year, and I know there may be other women feeling exactly the same way.

I thought it might be nice to have a space where we can chat, share updates, celebrate the little milestones, and support each other through the worries that often come with pregnancy after loss.

Sending love to anyone on this journey 🤍🌈

Looking forward to my first appointment on Monday :)

Hello. Early scan for me next week. This week has been rough. Extreme nausea and vomiting. To the point where it has completely stopped me in my tracks.

MocktailMe · 06/06/2026 11:37

Hi ladies. I'm cautiously joining this group with a lot of hope and a lot of fear. I am pregnant again through IVF currently 4+6. This is my third pregnancy this year and 7th total with no living children.

This time I'm on blood thinners, progesterone, estrogen and aspirin and I really hope that this is the magic list of meds needed for my little baby.

Attached this morning's tests (I am still testing like a mad woman).

@anniehall12 I’m so pleased to see this, have everything crossed for a smooth journey for you 🤞🏼

I’m due in January after a loss in April, very nerve wracking so far but saw a heartbeat last week.

@MocktailMe @Lillylight wishing you both all the luck too xx

anniehall12 · 06/06/2026 14:55

Congratulations to you both 🤍🤍

Hi @Lillylight that sounds an awful lot like when I've had hypermesis gravidarum! I really hope it isn't for you. Make sure you reach out and get medication from GP or EPAGU x

@MocktailMe sorry to read of your difficult and heartbreaking journey. I am wishing you all the luck 🤞🏽 💚 I have also been testing like crazy! The line has got darker so that's given me some reassurance even though in reality deep down I know that doesn't guarantee much :( xx

Hi everyone. I’ve been through IVF too and this is a 🌈 pregnancy. So far today a slice of dry bread and a small fresh orange. Let’s keep the faith everyone. I was tempted to keep testing but resisted and I have to say I glad I did.

Rainbowmum32 · 06/06/2026 18:23

hi all! Praying this is our bring home baby. I’ve had 4 recurrent miscarriages before my daughter and 5 since. I’m on cyclogest, clexane, aspirin and prednisolone. Even though every single test I’ve had, has been normal. I can’t believe I’m doing this again 🤦🏻‍♀️

Lillylight · 06/06/2026 18:33

@anniehall12 Could you tell me a little more about your sickness as I cannot decide to go to hospital or not but feel so ill. I don’t want to be a nuisance or drama queen.

Hi! Is this the protocol you used when you had your daughter? Everything crossed for you. I know the feeling of can't believe I'm doing this again but I can't stop until my baby comes home 🥹

it is apart from the prednisolone has been added in. I’ve done the same thing I did with my daughter 3 times since and all ended in loss. All my losses have been 5-8.5 weeks so I feel like if I can just get to 9 weeks with a heartbeat it’ll be okay x

I was constantly vomiting, even water, and retching. Constant nausea. Headaches. Food was like poison I absolutely hated it because every time I tried to eat I would violently vomit. I become weak and rapidly lost weight. I was also highly emotional because it was so awful it took over my life. Can you imagine, lack of food, lack of sleep, oh and the constant pain of ache in my stomach from all the vomiting, my throat burning, my gums bleeding.... This was all before 8 weeks! At 8w3d I ended up in A&E who were really not understanding but gave me hydration and some glucose. From there on I got diagnosis with HG and cared for by the early pregnancy unit and my midwife.

Hi all , tentatively joining. I’m 5weeks 3 days today. I’ve had 4 missed miscarriages so really hoping this one sticks. It has been a really difficult time, and I do wonder why I’m still trying after recurrent miscarriages or how I’ll cope if it happens again, but I just have to hope I’ll get to take this one home.

sorry for all your losses. Pregnancy after loss is so scary, and the anxiety can be tough. Hope you’re all being very kind to yourselves xx

Hey, thank you and it's nice to have you here! I am sorry for your loss, amazing news that you've seen baby's heartbeat. I literally cannot wait for that moment!!!

@anniehall12 Thank you for sharing and and it sounded bloody awful. I went to an out of hours doctor today and he prescribed some anti-sickness tablets which I hope helps. Let’s keep sharing and caring everyone. I hope everyone is doing OK.

MrsC2018 · 07/06/2026 14:04

Hey, I’m very tentatively here. I think I’m 5+4 with a due date of 2nd feb. This will be baby number 4 for me so I recognise how lucky I am in that, but it’s been a tough road and I’ve fought to have each of my children. I had years of unexplained infertility after my first child resulting in a 12 year gap between baby 1 and 2 🤦‍♀️

my second baby was the 7th IVF transfer and the only one that worked

i then had 2 miscarriages at 16 week having miraculously conceived naturally. No reasons found. Then had a c section scar ectopic

carried my 3rd baby to term with the help of aspirin, progesterone and clexane

had another miscarriage last year at around 8 weeks, I’m now 42 so was probably chromosomal

now pregnant again and questioning my life choices! I won’t relax, the second trimester miscarriages were after completely normal 12 week scans, there was never any sign of a problem. I find being pregnant torture I’m so worried about everything now. I’d give anything to go back to that first one where I did a test followed by 2 scans and having a baby 😂🤦‍♀️

anyway, EPU are giving me a scan on Wednesday and if there is a heartbeat then the meds protocol will start. Then it’s an 8 month waiting game I guess. I think you guys understand though

MocktailMe · 07/06/2026 17:10

Hi @MrsC2018 welcome you've had a wild ride to get here. I'm so pleased to hear you've been blessed with 3 children after your journey and I really hope this is number four safely and smoothly.

I'm exactly 5 weeks today (I know for sure because of IVF) and I'm so so happy to have a clearblue 3+ matching up perfectly with my dates. Such a load off my mind. Hope everyone is well.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I’m 4 weeks 3 days after finding out super early last week at 9dpo. Like you I am super anxious and testing every morning despite it now not really telling me anything.

We have been trying for two years with 2 chemicals and then quite a scary ectopic last year. This was my last cycle on letrozole before we were going to move onto IVF. I am counting down to 2 weeks tomorrow for an early scan. Every twinge makes me convinced it’s not in the right place again!

My fingers are crossed for everyone here that this is our time!

anniehall12 · 08/06/2026 07:10

@MrsC2018 Welcome! I'm so sorry for your losses especially sad to hear of your 16 week miscarriages. I lost one at 13 weeks and it was absolutely devastating. It's lovely that you're still hopeful and still trying. Wishing you the best!

@Chocolatecustardcreamsrule Welcome and congratulations too! Sorry for your losses. Wow you're super similar to me. I found out with a very faint BFP on 9 DPO and as of today I'm estimated 4 weeks 3 days based of ovulation.

Going for my scan and bloods today! Feel super emotional and drained.

@anniehall12 wow yes we are so similar! I’ve got all my fingers and toes crossed that it’s good news for you. It’s so stressful and emotionally draining- be kind to yourself. Mines not for another two weeks I’m trying not to think about it I feel sick everytime I do.

Taysonic · 08/06/2026 13:07

Oh my goodness, I'm so glad I found this thread. Haven't felt able to post this anywhere else but know you ladies will understand.

I'm still quite early: 4+5 today based on LMP but probably a couple of days behind that truth be told.

I've had 4 miscarriages since March 2025, so this is pregnancy #5 in about 15 months which feels crazy. I am very lucky to have a son (10 yrs old) from my previous marriage. Been trying for a baby with my new partner since Feb 25. This would be his first.

All my losses have been very early (5-6 weeks). Blood tests show everything is normal except for testing positive for thyroid antibodies. I'm on progesterone.

This pregnancy caught us a bit by surprise. Between conceiving and finding out about this pregnancy, we had my latest set of blood test results and decided to wait to try again for 3 months to give us time to heal. And then... Boom. Found out I was pregnant. Guess we weren't quite as careful as I thought we were being.

If I'm honest, I don't expect this pregnancy to last. I don't expect to even be in this thread in a week's time. I feel like a ticking time bomb. I wish we were excited and happy but I just feel sad and scared.

cobalt123 · 08/06/2026 13:17

Hi there. Thank you @anniehall12for creating this thread. Joining here too after mmc in February. I’m in the other due Feb thread as well but feeling quite anxious and apprehensive about it all. I’m 4+6 now and zero symptoms. I don’t have a scan booked until 8+1 and I’m so scared what will happen at that scan or at any point before.

Honestly wouldn’t know I was pregnant apart from peeing on a stick and now af being a few days late.

Hi @Taysonici recognise your name from previous threads, very please to see you here. Really hope this is the one that’s meant to be. Big hugs.

Taysonic · 08/06/2026 16:45

Hi @cobalt123! It's always lovely but then a little bittersweet to see people from previous threads. Specially on loss/rainbow threads. But, lovely to see a familiar name pop up.

Our dates are really similar and I've not really got many symptoms either - I've only just started to feel quite tired and nauseous but I'm pretty sure that's because of the progesterone supplements rather than anything else. Still living hour by hour, day by day at the minute... Can't possibly think too far ahead.

anniehall12 · 09/06/2026 07:21

My update 💚pregnancy confirmed by hospital PT and blood test. US report says 'anechoic sac with trophoblastic reaction eccentrically located within the endometrium, which most likely represents an early intra-uterine gestation sac. Yolk sac seen'
This aligns with my ovulation dates to be roughly 4.5/5 weeks. The nurse also started asking me questions about twins in my family and if I have hyperovulation. She said she can see I released 2 eggs!
Anyway, I have to go back for another scan next Monday which will be a 7 days difference so hopefully should see a heartbeat if I am lucky enough to be successful!
I am still super anxious as we all know, mc can happen suddenly at anytime! Since the transvaginal scan yesterday I instantly had period cramping on and off, still here now! I am so nervous that I am even taking a break from sex!

@Lillylight How are you feeling? Is the tablets working? With myself I had to go through many different medications before I found the one that really helped me! And even then it just took the edge off! However now HG is much more understood there is some great medication out there. So if you're still struggling, you don't have to. xxx So far no vomiting for me, but smells are sending me!

@Taysonic Hello and welcome. I really feel you on your post! I am so sorry for your losses. You are so strong. Be kind to yourself. Is this the first time you're trying progesterone?

Lots of love to everyone here! xx
