February 2027 Rainbow Babies 🌈 Pregnancy After Loss

Hi everyone 🤍

I wanted to start a little thread for anyone due around February 2027 with a rainbow baby 🍼

I've recently found out I'm pregnant again, very early, so everything feels quite delicate at the moment. I'm happy, but also incredibly anxious after experiencing a missed miscarriage and a miscarriage, both this year, and I know there may be other women feeling exactly the same way.

I thought it might be nice to have a space where we can chat, share updates, celebrate the little milestones, and support each other through the worries that often come with pregnancy after loss.

Sending love to anyone on this journey 🤍🌈

How is everyone getting on? I'm 10w2d today! Had a scan a few days ago at 9w5d and all was well. Still so extremely anxious but doing my best to not let it take control. All I can do is pray for the best and enjoy being pregnant each day 🥹🤍🌈
I really do miss pregnancy before loss, when it was only excitement!

Hey :)

All is well. I'm now 10+5 and my 12 week scan is a week today (which will be my 5th scan!). I'm starting to feel a bit better now which is terrifying and also making my life physically easier so I'm torn on how to feel about it.

I've never known pregnancy without loss, this is officially the furthest I've ever made it in a pregnancy now so I don't know how to be other than anxious!! I'm really hoping the second trimester will be able to relax a bit more. I am so looking forward to having a real bump and feeling the baby move as I do think it will feel so much more real to me then.

Glad things are going okay @anniehall12 , hope the sickness has eased.

Im 8w today, scan on Wednesday, midwife on 27th. The anxiety and stress is horrible, I'm trying to be calm and positive but its tough xx

Oh no, sorry to hear this. Xx how many weeks are you now? X

I should be 8 weeks. Scan last week I would have been 7+4 but embryo measuring 6 weeks with very little growth from the last scan. Sure on dates so I suspect the next scan will show that there’s no development and I’ll have to look into my options.

I’ve only ever naturally miscarried so I’m not sure which is the best option. I don’t want to just wait as the uncertainty is the worst.

It's gotten very quiet on here. I apologise for being absent, but the first trimester has been extremely difficult for me! I'm so grateful, yet it has still been incredibly challenging. I can't wait for that second trimester glow and great feelings, although I'm not sure if I will be lucky enough this time around lol.

How is everyone doing? I'm hoping there are more sticky beans and success stories!

Much love to all x

Hello! How far along are you now @anniehall12? I hope things ease up for you soon 💕

I’m 11+5 today 😅. My last scan was 10+6. We did NIPT and found out gender. We’re having a boy! And low risk for the three chromosome syndromes. I must admit I’ve felt on cloud 9 since finding out and the excitement has overtaken fear. I didn’t think it would ever, so I’m quite surprised about that.

Because of the subchorionic haematoma I have had something ridiculous like 5 scans at this point! I think the repeated scans that went ok did actually help me a lot (still get the fear before each one but not feeling like I’m going to faint, like the first scan!)

I also had a really strict internal rule I wasn’t going to discuss names or order anything baby related until at least 20 weeks. Broke both of those rules too, which surprised me! Ordered a little coming home from the hospital sleepsuit with a name we agreed on…! Not something I ever thought I would do at this stage!

We also got a rental offer accepted on a house. Again I hadn’t wanted to move before 20 weeks but my DH persuaded me and to be fair we do need more space regardless. This was a good deal (was significantly less than we thought we would have to spend - when does that ever happen with housing!). And the agent said fewer rentals are on the market in autumn. So that had to take priority over my fear again.

I’m thinking maybe it was getting too hard to maintain that level of fear I had and I must have been ready to let some of it go. We also had to start making arrangements for birth etc so that has forced me to look forwards and it actually really helped take me out of my head

We’re on holiday so my next scan will be my “12 week” at more like 13.5 weeks. The change of scenery has helped with 1st trimester symptoms but they’re still there. I had two hour naps yday! But can pretend it’s just relaxing being on holiday vs trudging through treacle at home!

Hopefully this all doesn’t come back to bite me on the behind but… it feels like this could work out this time 🤞💫✨🙏🏻

Hello! I have also not posted of late - been struggling with sickness but I think I am starting to turn a corner with it now and have found medication that keeps it at a manageable level. Still eating very little and plain food. I’ve had my 12 week scan and all is well which is so reassuring. Still have to manage the thoughts of things are going to go wrong but I suppose that is just part of the journey. When will I eat a normal meal again?!

Wow that all sounds sooo exciting! Congratulations on the Great news and having a boy! All these milestones and achievements are amazing, you sound like you're doing so well, I hope you are so proud of yourself!

I'm so jealous everyone is going on holidays....I cancelled my trip to Greece that I had booked before I found out I was pregnant as I just can't take the risk and anxiety of flying so hats of to you!
I will start preparing a few things after 16 weeks and then everything will be done by 25 weeks as twins tend to come early. It's not my first rodeo and I have an amazing support system so I'm sure I will have everything prepared way ahead of time.
With my first born, I done and got everything by the time I was 25 weeks and then I was seriously bored and literally had nothing more to buy! Lol
Only thing that is stressing me is having to get a bigger car, they are all so ugly in my opinion lool!

I'm 13 weeks and 2 days today, both twins are doing fantastic and growing at the same rate! All test came back with extremely low risk as well. However, one of their placenta cords needs close monitoring so I've already been booked in for a further 3 scans all a few weeks apart! And then will have bi weekly scans going forward. It's going to be exhausting having so many trips to the hospital for scans and consultant appointments but all so worth it! I am at one of the best hospitals in the UK so I have every confidence in my team taking care of us which makes me much more relaxed 🥰

Just praying for the sickness to go away! It's making me so weak and annoyed now! Literally been suffering for about the best part of 10 weeks now 🥹 nausea was one of my first systems before missed period... Looking sooo forward to starting some type of pregnancy yoga or pilates, and eating normally! Although I have Gestational diabetes 🥺😄
Xxx
