Has anyone who is approaching 10/11 weeks noticed their nausea reducing? Slightly worried because I have, by my dates I am 11 weeks Tuesday but I know measuring a few days behind from early scans

Niftymum88 · 10/05/2026 16:54

👋🏻👋🏻

NewAgeDawning · 10/05/2026 16:55

@Desperatelyseekingmemy nausea hasnt been a huge thing for me this pregnancy but yes, definitely improved. Im 10 weeks today x

Desperatelyseekingme · 10/05/2026 16:57

Thanks @NewAgeDawning I know logically it's probably normal at this stage but it's reassuring to hear not just me. Mine hasn't been terrible either but definitely improved last couple of days x

I’m praying and praying and praying that when I reach 10 weeks in the next week or so that my hypermensis goes away literally praying l… I believe in my second pregnancy I had nausea and it eased off by 10/11 weeks.. but in my third pregnancy it lasted nearly 5 months.. I believe all should be good that it’s reducing as your coming to the end of 3 months.

Mine suddenly stopped at about 10 weeks with my daughter. Everything was completely perfect with that pregnancy 😊

I am due early Dec. Currently 9 weeks. I have a 2 year old and then the next pregnancy was a miscarriage so it’s been an anxious few weeks. I have strong symptoms this time which I hope is a good sign. Also had a 7 week scan and was put on cyclogest progesterone. Then have a scan next week again. So I keep telling myself I can’t do any more but hope 🙏🏻

Alwaysgrowing · 10/05/2026 18:13

@Desperatelyseekingme I have the same due date as you, but haven't had nausea, except the odd wave a few weeks back.

MamaSleep · 10/05/2026 18:22

Thanks for starting the new thread!

wonderlust07 · 10/05/2026 19:08

Had a scan today 9+3 and a very wiggly baby!

howluckyarewe · 10/05/2026 19:39

@Alwaysgrowing please know half this thread is now intensely jealous of you. 😂 I would love to be someone who glows in pregnancy but look and feel like the inside of a bin RN.

Told my manager at work on Fri & she told me she'd wondered, because I'd been looking terrible lately. 🥲

OlivejuiceU2 · 10/05/2026 21:36

I’m 10 weeks today and nausea has been improving, was worried too as my first I was bad until 16 weeks. Having an early scan tomorrow and very nervous.

rach971 · 10/05/2026 23:07

Just wiped after a wee and there was some brown discharge :( I have a private scan Wednesday so will just have to see what is said 😫😫

Bomatoes · Yesterday 07:33

@rach971how many weeks are you? I had some brown discharge yesterday (9+3) I read it could be the placenta attaching, or from exercising/straining, or just old blood finally working it's way out. Very hard not to panic isn't it, hope all is well at the scan

Ncl31 · Yesterday 08:30

@MsPussinBoots thanks for new thread.

@Desperatelyseekingme 10-14 weeks is when the placenta takes over and the hormones form the ovaries reduce which is why the symptoms often start to settle.
It’s difficult to get your head around without worrying though I totally get that. I’m anxious about it too. Once I see our beautiful baby again on scan it’ll help settle me down.

SausageRoll90 · Yesterday 08:49

Hi guys 👋🏻 checking in to the new thread too.

I've got a scan on Wednesday too @rach971 although mines with epu and I'm around 7weeks. PRAYING for a positive outcome. My anxiety is very high right now so trying to focus on keeping busy with my toddler and not let my anxiety spiral. 48hrs to go... 🙏🏻🤞🏻

Alwaysgrowing · Yesterday 09:03

Haha, I don't have nausea, but do have fatigue so I'm certainly not glowing.

33Carr · Yesterday 09:23

Checking in on new thread ☺️

Aprahel87 · Yesterday 09:36

Hi all, thanks for starting a new thread 😃

I was lucky, never seem to have a great deal of symptoms but they defensively started easing around week 9. If is still didn’t have random tingles in my boobs and tiredness I would be panicking a lot more! My mum never had much symptoms with all 4 of her pregnancy so I might just be one of the lucky ones

JH20000 · Yesterday 09:42

Checking in.

Really feeling it with sickness and tiredness. Feel awful. It’s really hard too as not told work yet keep disappearing to be sick. Thankfully working from home but would love to have some extra breaks so may let work know soon.
