Due January 2027 anyone?

I couldn’t see an existing thread, so I thought I’d start one. If there is one already going, please point me in the right direction - though I imagine there are not many people due in this month just yet!!

I just found out I’m pregnant. I’ve calculated my due date to be the 1st of January 2027.

This is my third pregnancy. It’s come as a bit of a shock, but a very happy one! My first two were quite close together, and I thought I’d left the baby phase behind. I also gave away all our baby stuff already 🫠

It would be nice to chat to others in the same stage of pregnancy as we go through it all together 🥰

@Doglover84 I’m not far behind you (5+1) and wondering when it will start… At the moment, I just feel slightly queasy in the evening but I’m sure it’s on its way! 😣When did your morning sickness start for your last pregnancy? What meds can you ask the GP for?

This is all very new to me so I don’t know what to expect (or what will help!). Thank you x

I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow and I'm definitely feeling a bit queasy and didn't fancy an iced coffee when I walked past starbucks this morning which is v unusual for me!

Last time definitely between weeks 6 and 7ish i think. I got cyclizine from the docs and then something else I can't remember the name of and it took the edge off a bit. I think there's various ones you can get just depends what your GP will prescribe!

Lillybobs86 · 30/05/2026 21:58

9 weeks tomorrow and still feeling sick 🤢
started bang on 6 weeks as per my previous pregnancies 🙈
Whats so hard for me is cooking the dinners for the family - no idea what to cook or everything smells yuk when it’s cooking 🙃
Im living off carbs and beige snacks lol
It eases off at 12 weeks then I usually eat loads and put on a lot of weight 😅😭🤣

I won't be going near the kitchen for the next few weeks. Last time the smell of opening the fridge sent me over the edge 🤮

Doctor1988 · 31/05/2026 00:53

I’m now 9 weeks + 3 and just want to eat ice pops and drink cold drinks 😂

Sorry to jump in @Doglover84and @GreenwichPipsmy sickness last time started just under 6 weeks. I was originally prescribe cyclizine. It didn’t work for me so I was prescribed Prochlorperazine and Doxylamine. The drs were good when I told them when meds didn’t work. I did end up with HG last time so also ended up on IV anti sickness a couple times a week to help.

Will definitely be getting sickness meds this time, i’m already having waves of nausea at 4+5, if it fully kicks in or gets worse im going to be straight on the phone to gp.

When pregnant with my DD I just slept and rode it out, had awful nausea until week 18, it was really debilitating, now I have a 15 month old tasmanian devil i’m not going to have that same luxury 😅

Yeah don’t just try push through.

I was the same with my first just pushed through it was Covid time so struggled to get GP appt. Looking back I was properly borderline HG that pregnancy as well 😩

Make your partner do the cooking!

Anyone on here have 3 children already? This pregnancy would be my third baby, DC1 is 4, DC2 is 1.5, and I'm honestly baffled as to how I will cope with a third. Very much wanted baby but geeezzz it's gunna be hard work. Anyone got any insight into the jump from 2 to 3? or any tips? I found the jump from 1 - 2 mental lol and basically had to seriously lower my standards surrounding screen time for the toddler in those early months.

Dogmum15 · 31/05/2026 19:39

Yes I’m so bloated I look about 6 months pregnant 😂

Lillybobs86 · 01/06/2026 15:32

Went for a scan today, I was suppose to be 9+1 but she measured me 9+4 🙏🏽
That means I can go for NIPT earlier than planned so I will try to book it for this Friday 😬

I start to feel like my sickness starts to ease then I get a massive wave of that horrible feeling of I don’t no what to do with myself or Eat 🙈 🤢

Lollie2903 · 02/06/2026 08:43

its crazy isnt it! I was on an all inclusive for 10 days and found out the day we got home but out there I was like omg I'm piling it on! hahaha

Our dates are very similar, I’m 9 weeks + 4 (IVF baby so I know for sure!)

I’m not being sick thankfully, but any strong smells make me feel 🤢

Good luck!

I'm 6+2 today and so nauseous. Made a GP appt for this afternoon to hopefully get some meds! Anyone else taking anything?

erihskreb · 02/06/2026 19:06

I’m hoping to avoid meds as I’m 7+5 and hoping it will start to ease up in a week or two but I did end up telling work today who are luckily very understanding. I’ve agreed with my manager to work from home 100% (normally hybrid 50/50) until I’m feeling better. Also handy with the exhaustion as I had a nap at lunchtime today!

NoCheese2026 · 03/06/2026 13:10

I'm due Jan 29, first pregnancy and very excited/apprehensive about it all! I could feel twinges and sore breasts for a while, but that seems to have stopped today - do others find symptoms come and go like that? I've registered with the hospital but done nothing else yet - are people on vitamin/diet regimes, or preparing in other ways I might not know about? Thank you!!

ChasingRainbow5 · 03/06/2026 15:12

Hi, tentatively joining after lurking for a while (and even reporting that weirdo who didn’t want any scans 😅)

I got my BFP a few weeks ago but after a miscarriage in April and having to leave the December thread, I didn’t want to post here until I’d had a scan. Saw the heartbeat today and measuring bang on what I thought, 7 weeks.

Due date based on ovulation is 21 January, and I have a 2-year-old 🥰

Hope you’re all doing well and keeping the nausea at bay! Ginger sweets and lunchtime naps are just about getting me through.

Congratulations, @ChasingRainbow5 and @NoCheese2026 !

@NoCheese2026 - my due date is also 29 January and this is my first pregnancy, too. I’m also lurking on the “Expecting Feb 2027” thread as I’m so late in January that I’m pretty much at the same stage as the early Feb ladies 😁I haven’t registered with the hospital yet as we’re not supposed to do it before 6 weeks in my area but I’ll be doing it tomorrow! I’m taking a pregnancy multivitamin plus iron supplements (floradix tablets) and psyllium husk / magnesium for the constipation! Have you had any symptoms yet? I’m quite tired and feel a bit queasy in the evening but nothing too noticeable just yet.

How exciting to hear the heartbeat, @ChasingRainbow5 ! I’m so pleased for you and it must have been such a relief to hear it! I’m trying to hold off until week 8 but really keen on an early scan… I’m not sure about going now (6 weeks exactly tomorrow) as I’ve heard that sometimes the baby is too small for a heartbeat to be heard / cardiac activity to be detected and that would probably worry me. This is my first (miracle!) pregnancy at age 40 after being told I’d struggle to conceive with PCOS, so I’m already quite anxious. I wish time would speed up so I can have a scan!

ChasingRainbow5 · 05/06/2026 07:47

@GreenwichPips I sobbed!
I’ve been around 7 weeks the first time I’ve seen the heartbeat with both of mine so I’d consider holding off a week if you feel able. I totally get feeling anxious though, I’m 41 which definitely adds to it. But so exciting for you 😊
