Just looking to see if anyone is like me and just found out they are pregnant and due early October? Would be good to make a thread and chat with each other x

Hi all - joining the thread for October babies! Yay! This will be baby #2 for us. I’m only 11dpo so still very early days and will wait a few more weeks before joining the WhatsApp group if that’s okay.
When is everyone referring themselves to the midwives/going for a first scan? X

Hi all, tentatively joining! We have been trying for 3 years and have got our first ever BFP. Known for a few days now as my cycles are quite short, and still can’t believe it…I should be 5+2 today.

I don’t have any symptoms really which I’m finding a bit unnerving. Have felt slightly nauseous a couple of times and maybe a bit more tired but also think it might all be in my head?? Anyone else feel like that? Keep testing just to make sure and I keep getting positive results back but otherwise I wouldn’t suspect a thing!

The hunger is unreal! I'm not used to eating every 2 hours. Been having a big glass of milk because I don't really fancy anything to eat but have to eat something.
What does everyone else have?

@DutchessVonTootles i have never eaten so many crackers in my life! They were helping to manage the nausea but this week has been horrendous it’s really levelled up since I hit 7 weeks I’ve messaged the doctor to see if I can get some meds

I do feel the same though with needing to eat constantly I go from fine to ravenous hangry so quickly haha

@Arandomnam3 i have my first midwife app today at 7 weeks 3 days but i think the norm is around 8 weeks, I have a slightly complicated pregnancy

@happilypickled no symptoms or PMS ones are really common to begin with so just enjoy feeling okay while it lasts I would! Congratulations!

Hello! I’m a bit behind everyone else, just had a positive this morning after trying for about 5 months. I saw a faint line this morning (10dpo ish), couldn’t resist another test this afternoon and it’s got so much stronger already! Hopefully a good sign 🤞 I’ll be 4 weeks on Friday eeek. Due 30 October so only just October time, not sure if I’m okay to be in this group!

Hello, I'm tentatively joining too. Had multiple positives late last week after over 18 months of trying and will be my first.
Estimated due date is 21st October.

Hey! I found out on Friday that I’m pregnant for the first time! I’ve asked ChatGpt and it said my due date should be around October 20th 💘

Nervously joining in with this thread - tested positive at the beginning of this week and am 4w5d based on my last period, estimated due date is 24th October. Have noticed a few symptoms: bloating/cramps last week, this week I've had a constant headache and the fatigue has hit me like a truck. Yesterday I came home from work and fell asleep on the sofa for two hours!

I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much just yet as we've had a chemical pregnancy and an early loss before, but the lines are looking stronger and stronger than I've ever had before so fingers crossed we'll be meeting baby later this year :)

I had an early scan today due to my history, all good so far, measured at 6+2 and heartbeat seen.

Also given a prescription for cyclogest which I used in my last pregnancy. Can’t say I’m thrilled at having to use it again, but without knowing if it made any difference or not, can’t afford to risk not taking it.

Just wanted to join too please 😅. Due 20th October but it’s so hard to get excited when there’s so many weeks to go still 😬. Happened much quicker than I thought though so this has came as a bit of a nice surprise 🥳. Congrats everyone!

Joining! Baby number 2 (have a very wild almost 5 year old). Due around 30 October! Have spent the week skiing, drinking my body weight in aperol and wine because early pregnancy tests said negative…

Hi all 👋 BFP (2-3 weeks on CB) for me this morning!! EDD sometimes around the end of October.

I'm 3, DH 33. This baby would be our 2nd - DD is 10 months so will have 2u2 (as hoped for!)

Already getting way too ahead of myself with imagining/planning etc 🫣 we won't tell anyone until 12 week scan so it's nice to have another place to anonymously chat - haven't had a chance to read the whole thread yet but will catch up.

Ahah like you we were away over half term and I enjoyed a glass of red each night as test on 15/02 was stark negative!! Last time around I read 'Expecting Better' and found it really helpful going through all the things you 'cant do' - not too fussed this time as I know a few glasses will likely have no impact.

Had a BFP on Saturday which was a shock as wasnt even trying.

Had a misscarriage last July so am a bit worried atm.

I'm only about 4 weeks gone, due approx end of Oct.

I'm 42 in a couple of weeks! And this will be my 3rd (have two boys 11 and 6 by October)
I saw on the group a few are having their 3rd.

Am I crazy at 42 ha ha

Having a scan later at the EPU.
Been spotting over the weekend including some red blood which was a real panic. I sobbed and sobbed but getting it checked out today.

Somewhat comforted in that I am still extremely pregnant (symptoms are awful) but I've been having so much pelvic pain i just don't even know whats meant to be normal as i have so many other health things that effect my joints and pelvis.

I'm really pissed off at hubs work because everyone else in his team is fucking useless which makes it hard for him to take a few hours off to come with me to the EPU. So I'll have to spend 30 quid on taxis cos I can't manage an hour on public transport as I might wee myself.

I am not enjoying the first trimester. I'm sleeping 10 hours a day minimum, I'm constantly hungry and sick at the same time. My pelvis is in constant pain and then the emotional rollercoaster of spotting over the weekend. I'm terrified we're having twins.

can I tentatively join? got BFP on 31/1 and still having lots of symptoms. I've a private scan booked for Thursday night as I've had a couple of losses in the last 2 years. I think I'm one of the oldest, 42 turning 43 this year. Will have a 13 year age gap 😱

I've had a sore head since Friday, do you think I should call EPU? I've already self referred but won't see a midwife for another 3 weeks. I'll join the whatsapp after I see something on Thursday night that tells me its a sticky one.

Unfortunately I’m nearly 100% certain I’m out. Started getting back pain all of a sudden on Friday and cramping, followed by dark spotting. It’s got heavier and now turned red, and feel like I have bad period pains. Spoke to EPAU who can’t scan until Thursday but have told me in all likelihood it’s a loss. Gutted as we have been trying for over 2 years.

I’m so happy to finally say I'm pregnant!

I’m 42 and currently 4 weeks 6 days. So 5 weeks. Got my 2-3 weeks on a digital this morning, so happy to see the rise 🤍

Myself & partner have a DD7 already and we did have a early loss at 4 weeks odd last year so I’ve been so nervous but everything is looking good. My tests didn’t get that dark then and this pregnancy so far has been textbook.
