Just looking to see if anyone is like me and just found out they are pregnant and due early October? Would be good to make a thread and chat with each other x

@glasshalffull0 That looks a perfect line progression for how many do you are 🥰 test again in a day or so and you will see the difference x

Thank you so much for the reassurance! Fingers crossed x

Had my BFP Sunday, was expecting a period and was sure this month wouldn’t be the month as we had decided to try but then not really committed to and couldn’t get a peak from the ovulation sticks so shocked! 5+2 from my last period today but my cycles have been so long as am still feeding so at the moment it puts me at around 5/6 of October. Third baby with two girls 5 and 18 months.

Mamabear256 · 27/01/2026 15:14

Seems quite a few of us here are expecting our third!

How are you ladies doing today? Any symptoms anyone? I’m currently 4 weeks and 4 days, no symptoms as of yet but mine usually keep in between 5-6 weeks normally.

Good thank you and just some cramping but other than that feeling fine, I have been referred to EPAU but am sure all will be well, but will be nice to have the check. Hoping my pregnancy is like my second and not my first 😬.

Just seen the chat re cars and I think it is unavoidable. Lovely big Grandland here but no way of 3 car seats in the back I don’t think. Not keen on full people carrier though 😬!

HampsterCheese90 · 27/01/2026 17:50

@Sophie3003 did they refer you to EPAU for the cramping? I’ve had some cramping today on and off today. I’m trying not to think about it. I don’t think there’s anything they can do anyway it’s 4 weeks, too early for anything to show on a scan.

At the start of this month I lost a chemical pregnancy but have had much better line progression this time so was feeling hopeful. I think my period would have been due today so if we get to the end of this week I’ll be feeling much better.

Sophie3003 · 27/01/2026 17:53

It is 6 weeks they can. To be honest cramping is 100% normal, I think my GP is very kind! I was hospitalised screaming with cramps with my first (suspected ectopic) and she is 5! Xx

I hope all goes well for you, I’m sure it’ll be fine. Cramping is really normal I believe.

On a separate note I also would have thought a grand land would fit 3 car seats!!

No Grandland! I think it’s rare to get 3 seats across the back and the trouble is if you can it won’t be the safest seats you want to choose. Mine are both in cybex seats which are big.

Hi all!

Jumping in on the post as a first timer....been testing all week with gradual line progression. 4 weeks today and due 6th October.
Had previous recurrent losses including an ectopic last year so very anxious this time as it's the first positive since then!

Anyone due in October 2026?
blackberryhill · 28/01/2026 11:39

Very cautiously joining this thread - had my BFP this morning following our second IUI on 16th. Our first IUI ended in a MMC last October so feeling pretty anxious but trying to just put one foot in front of the other. This would be our second - we have a 4 year old DS. Due date would be 9 October (although I would be having a repeat CS so expect it to be a week or so earlier).

Looopylouu · 28/01/2026 19:25

Hello, can I join in with you guys?

I found out I was pregnant on Sunday ( 25th) which would make me currently 4+5. I had been referred to EPAU due to left sided discomfort and am due to go away on the 8th Feb to DR so very anxious. Had bloods done as nothing was seen on the scan probably because to early and my blood hcg was at 1637

HampsterCheese90 · 29/01/2026 13:41

I look my last test today ☺️ It was nice to see a really dark line.

Joining as had a faint positive 2 days ago at 11dpo but test today is brighter, I’m due on in 2 days so still waiting for that but 🤞🏻

Is anyone having any symptoms yet? I’m 14dpo and get the occasional sore boobs and some nausea when I’m driving which I don’t usually get but I don’t know if it’s just in my mind because I’m so hyper aware of my body at the minute!

this is my 2nd and apparently the boobs don’t hurt as much second time round because the breastfeeding infrastructure is already in place!

oogumboogum · 30/01/2026 07:41

Hi everyone! Tentatively joining - had my first positive test on Weds which was the day I was due on. Happy that my tests are getting darker so going to bite the bullet and call the community midwife team this morning. This is our first pregnancy so finding it reassuring to hear about everybody else’s experiences. Feels a bit Schrodinger’s pregnancy at times atm!

Have been q surprised that I haven’t had many symptoms yet, though I’ve had SO many brain farts in the last week involving losing keys, misplacing stuff and forgetting my own job title in a presentation to my team yesterday…!

I think I’m 4+5 today (longer cycles) so according to the NHS website I’ll be due around 7th October if all’s well. How’s everybody feeling today?

This is also my second pregnancy, and my boobs are sore like my first. Everyone's symptoms are different, some people have symptoms and others dont. All I can say is all my cramping has stopped and im glad im going back for another HCG blood test today

Mamabear256 · 30/01/2026 08:59

Morning! No symptoms for me yet, I’m 4+5. This is my third and from what I remember my symptoms last times usually kicked in around 5-6 weeks! I hate the nausea bit so dreading that 😞

OP posts:
Sophie3003 · 30/01/2026 09:01

Morning all, no symptoms bar had a little bit of cramping. Should be 5+5 today. Hoping I escape the nausea like I did last time 😬. Thankfully boobs okay as not managed to stop feeding the 18 month old yet!

glasshalffull0 · 30/01/2026 11:09

We’re flying to New York when I’m 13 weeks which I’m a bit apprehensive about. Hopefully we’ll be through the peak by then!

Babyno21990 · 30/01/2026 11:35

Hi everyone, hope you don’t mind me joining. I am currently 4 weeks 6 days 19dpo and pregnant with my 4th. I have two girls 5 and 3 and a little boy 16 months. 🥰 so already super busy and a little scared for the 4th but so excited and hoping it all works out. I have no symptoms apart from serious bloating and cramps. Very energetic and kind of in a nesting mode, urge to clean and get organised which I’m not complaining about 😂 anyone else on their 4th? Xx

Wolfe5507 · 30/01/2026 15:20

Final test is done (taken on Weds morning)
So glad to see progression at last....

Baby2iscooking · 30/01/2026 16:08

I’m due on tomorrow but test is brighter today again. But already have so much nausea and dizziness! Had a random bad stomach yesterday too!

Sophie3003 · 30/01/2026 16:41

Is really nice to chat pregnancy as we haven’t told anyone and hoping to extend that for a good while ☺️. Really interesting to see you all taking tests as have never really thought to take them over time. I did take two Sunday as had no idea on ovulation with breastfeeding and hoped the weeks clearblue would give me some idea as the clear blue ovulation tests never found a peak!

glasshalffull0 · 30/01/2026 18:33

We’re going to the in-laws for a weekend in early Feb and they’ll know straight away as I won’t be drinking but I’d really prefer to wait until the 12 week scan
