Just looking to see if anyone is like me and just found out they are pregnant and due early October? Would be good to make a thread and chat with each other x

Yes I’m definitely more hungry than normal and trying to make good choices 😅 Hopefully you won’t get HG again! I keep having moments of feeling queasy but I can still eat through them 😂 and my boobs are sore..especially first thing in the morning!

@Coco9910 I seem to feel more nauseous every morning 😂 reached the point of wrenching when I brush my teeth but haven’t reached the point of forcing myself to eat 🙃

I do miss the not knowing what was coming when I was pregnant first time around 😂

Hopefully the nausea doesn’t last long! I’ve been getting a few little aches but I know it can be the uterus stretching!

Would anyone be interested in joining a private Facebook group? We had one with my DD’s due date month and was so nice to share bump update pics, and recommendations for products? I love the WhatsApp chat for general chit chat, but found the Facebook group ideal to look back on and search for stuff others have recommended. I’d make it inconspicuous so nobody knew it was a pregnancy related group 😂

This is what I keep thinking! I only hope this pregnancy is like my second when I felt better by about 11 weeks, not like my first where I felt hideous until nearly 18! 😩

I got a bfp at 12dpo today.
I'm 43, second baby, ds was 2 in Dec. I had a MMC in September at 12 weeks.

I'm still in my January (24) babies WhatsApp group and it's a busy one still! With a few new pregnancies in it.

Has anyone been for a scan yet? After several miscarriages I'm inclined to put it off and see how things go, but I can't put it off forever.

Just caught up on the other messages on the thread and see lots of scans happening. Okay, maybe time to bite the bullet!

Really struggling with this nausea!! How’s everyone else’s symptoms? Does anyone else start getting second thoughts around this time? (This will be my third)

I’m put off by the idea of trans vaginal scans so I’m going to wait until 8 weeks ish.

I had a freak out today about the idea of another maternity leave.

My parents have made it very clear that they’re against us having more children and they help a lot with childcare. So that’s going to be fun 🤦🏻‍♀️

I won't be having too early, after seeing the heartbeat at 7 weeks last time, to it not being a viable pregnancy 4 weeks later, I'll wait to 10 weeks so I can have a private nipt

Hi everyone, I think I should join, I got my first positive test over a week ago but have been nervous that I didn’t really feel pregnant. Well the tiredness has hit in the past couple of days so I think I can accept it now! Going to try and hold off as long as possible for a scan, but equally I want that reassurance!

I’m considering private NIPT too @Matildahoney - I just had it through the NHS last time due to combined screening results. How does it work?

@Daffodil198 I only had NHS last time, but due to my age they automatically put me at high risk! I mentioned this last time I was pregnant and asked if I could have nipt straight away this time due as it caused unnecessary stress and worry to be told I had no need to have nipt testing straight away!

Hey all. I’m nervously joining, I’m 6 weeks, I had a scan due to some brown tinged discharge which showed yolk sac and gestational sac in right place but too early for a heartbeat. I’ve also had cramping on and off since before my period was due. I’m reeeeally bloated but only nips are sore now and my sickness has eased a bit. I’ve lost two pregnancies before so finding it hard to just enjoy! Hanging in there until my next scan 🥹. It’s really nice to be in a group with due date friends!

Hi! I found out on the 29th i was pregnant as i randomly done a test as my period was due that day and hadn’t come so the shock when it read pregnant has only really just sunk in. I believe my due date should be 5th October.

I have a 4 year old, 3 year old and a 5 month old currently so when this baby comes i’ll have 4 kids 5 and under which is crazy!!!

I don’t think it will really sink in until the first scan😳😳.

@Matildahoney - I’ve been looking at private NIPT and it’s around £300 near me, I’m a little shocked at the cost but if I make it to 10 weeks think we’ll do it

Congratulations to everyone joining. First trimester is so tough, it feels like such a long wait to 12 weeks!

@Daffodil198Thank you! I am still in shock with it all, i was always unsure about 4 but said id rather have them closer together to get the younger years out of the way together. I’m hoping my dates mean i can have a back to back maternity without going back to work in the middle!

Hi all. Tentatively joining this thread. I am currently 4+6. I had a loss at 7 weeks last March and a very early chemical in August. I already have a 2 year old DD. Really really hoping this works out. My March loss was a Pregnancy of Unknown Location and was advised on discharge to contact the EPU for an early scan in future. Excited but nervous!

I'm pregnant with my first and the hormones have hit me like a dump truck.
Really hungry, sick, tired and my sleep pattern has gone weird.

I'm high risk of twins (mother is a fraternal twin, I'm 35 and above average height) and I swear I felt myself ovulate twice on 25 Jan so we'll see.

I've been testing positive since 12DPO and I'm not due on for another few days yet.

I have a few health conditions and one extremely rare one (I won't name it because it will make me identifiable) which mean I'll be considered high risk but more for my sake than a babies.

I'm quite anxious. I'm an orphan so I don't have my own mum to like, talk to about any of this stuff and my mother in law is a bit mental so I can't really go to her. I'm excited to be able to tell people at 12 weeks.

Tentatively joining at 6 weeks. Sickness has hit me like a train, trying prochlorperazine for first time today to see if it helps 🤞🏻feeling horrific though.

Our last pregnancy ended in tfmr at 13 weeks so very triggered/anxious this time round too.

Oh gosh, the hunger is so extreme at the moment, I don’t remember it being this bad with the last 2! I just alternate between feeling nauseous and starving!

Same, I'm making the most of it before the nausea kicks in 🥴🥴 x
